우리나라 유아의 하루일과와 어머니의 양육태도에 대한 연구 = Maternal Parenting Attitudes and the Daily Schedules of Children in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현재 우리나라 유아들의 하루일과 모습과 어머니의 양육태도가 어떠한지 구체적으로 밝혀내고, 어머니의 양육태도가 유아의 하루일과에 어떻게 반영되는지 탐색하는 데에 연구목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국의 3·5세 유아를 둔 어머니 2,283명을 대상으로 유마의 하루일과 활동을 묻는 설문지와 어머니의 양육태도를 묻는 설문지를 통해 조사 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과, 우리나라 유아들의 전반적인 하루일과는 어머니의 도움과 관리 하며 이루어지고 있었으며, 텔레비전/비디오/컴퓨터가 놀이 종류로서, 생활의 일부로서 자리를 잡고 있었다. 그리고 어머니의 양육태도에 대한 결과에서는 부모의 사회경제적 지위가 높을수록, 어머니가 취업한 경우일수록, 수도권지역에 거주할수록, 그리고 자녀의 연령이 낮고 외동일수록 어머니들은 자신의 양육태도를 보다 적극적인 편이라고 평가하고 있었다. 이와 함께 어머니의 양육태도에 따라 유아의 하루일과 양상도 다르게 전개되고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines the daily schedules of young children in terms of maternal parenting attitudes to discover the impact of maternal parenting attitudes on the daily life of children. To this end, 2,283 mothers were interviewed with a questionnaire asking about their children's daily schedules and their own maternal parenting attitudes about child rearing. With regard to children's schedules this study finds, firstly, that young children's daily lives are directed and monitored by their mothers; and secondly, watching TV or videos and playing on a computer are the major types of activity in a child's daily life. With regard to maternal attitudes, this study reveals that mothers who have a high socio-economic status, have jobs, live in the Seoul area and have only one young child regard themselves as positive in their parenting. With regard to the impact of maternal parenting attitudes on children's daily lives, this study finds that how children's daily lives are scheduled depends largely on their mothers' parenting attitudes.
