      Dasan Jung Yak Yong lived in exile for 18years in Gangjin of Julanamdo. He studied lots of scriptures during that time. The lecture of Sikyong was one of the results. He wrote 16 poems using 4 words poem form(四言詩) among the forms of chinese poetry based on the study of Sikyong. Dasan tried to embody the poem sprit of Sikyong. The aim of this thesis is to clear what Dasan wanted to say through 4 words poem. Through 4 words poem, Dasan satirized and praised, besides concerned the times and configured a hard life of people. Dasan believed this kind of configuration method is the best way to reflect the original spirit Sikyong had. Therefore he tried to restore a original meaning Sikyong had. Dasan`s 4 words poem is not many. However it suggests us many things related with the problem how to interpret Sikyong. A profound studies on it should keep doing in the future.
