교사의 스포츠형 여가활동 참여와 교직스트레스, 교직만족 및 자아실현의 관계 = The relationship between Participation in Sport Leisure Activity and Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, and Self-Actualization of Teachers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between teacher‘s participation in sport leisure activities and the job stress, job satisfaction, and self-actualization. The subjects of this study were teachers serving in middle school and high school of Taejeon megalopolis. Using systematic stratified cluster random sampling, 421 teachers were sampled and asked to respond the survey. To analyze the data collected for this study, SPSS 11.0 program was used for factor analysis, ANCOVA, regression analysis, and path analysis.
The results from this study are as follows:
First, overall, participation of leisure activities influenced the teaching stress. Among type, frequency, flow experience, satisfaction of the activities, type and satisfaction were significant variables that influenced the degree of teaching stress.
Second, participation in leisure activities influenced the teaching satisfaction. In detail, type, flow experience, and satisfaction were significant variables for the teaching satisfaction.
Third, participation in leisure activities influenced the self-actualization. In detail, leisure type, flow experience, satisfaction were significant variables for the self-actualization.
Fourth, teacher's participation in leisure activities showed significant causal relationship with teaching stress, teaching satisfaction, and self-actualization.

In conclusion, teacher's participation in leisure activities had direct and indirect influence on the enhancement of self-actualization with mediating variables of teaching stress, and teaching satisfaction. Therefore, it indicates that there was a causal relationship among variables used in this study.
