The development of innovative power infrastructures, coupled with the collaboration of various stakeholders and their diff erent characteristics, has raised concerns about reliability in networks related to power distribution and usage. The introduction of novel electricity trading frameworks has increased the risks associated with information security in enterprise management. Conventional methods for safeguarding privacy fi nd it challenging to maintain a balance between privacy and oversight. This study investigated the potential of utilizing blockchain technology (BcT) within the domains of electricity distribution and consumption. To address the information security needs of the industry, a model utilizing a manageable blockchain for privacy safeguarding was introduced. The analysis of the application indicated that the introduced approach successfully combines both surveillance and privacy safeguarding capabilities.
