      In scroll compressors equipped with check valve which prevents the reverse rotation of scroll, check valve make a noise, so called shut down noise in case of power off. But check valve has two types of noise. One is shut down noise and the other is valve moving noise which generated by the movement of valve. Additionally valve movement noise is depends on the pressure ratio. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the pattem of the flow which due to the geometry and valve movement in older to reduce the noise under operation. This paper attempts to solve above two problems using CFD and visualization, and presents the results.
