The effects of intervention concerned with enhancing the job related problem-solving skills were examined using experimental/control pretest-posttest design. The data provided useful information about the potential role of the training on the job related problem-solving skill by showing that the results of experimental group were superior to those of a control group. Finally, applicability of the problem-solving skill training for schizophrenic patients in a variety of community living situations was discussed.
