테일러드 재킷의 패턴 해체를 통한 패션디자인 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 최근 재확산되고 있는 해체주의 패션 현상을 고찰하고 이를 오랫동안 고정된 형태를 지닌 테일러드 재킷의 패턴에 적용하여 패션디자인을 개발하는데 목적을 두었다. 이에 문헌연구를 통해 테일러드 재킷을 사적고찰하고 테일러드 재킷의 구성 요소를 고찰하였으며, 사례연구로서 최근 패션에 나타나고 있는 해체주의 표현 특성과 테일러드 재킷에 나타난 패턴 해체의 표현 특성을 탐구하였다. 최근 패션에 나타난 해체주의적 테일러드 재킷의 패턴 측면의 특성으로는 ‘복식구조 및 디자인원리의 해체’, ‘비확정적인 착장방식’, 그리고 ‘구멍내기’의 사례가 고찰되었으며, ‘복식구조 및 디자인 원리의 해체’ 방식에 따른 현대패션의 사례연구에서 테일러드 재킷의 구성요소 중 나타나지 않은 몸판과 소매, 그리고 디테일 패턴의 해체를 적용한 패션디자인 5점을 개발, 작품을 제작하였다. 디자인 개발은 해체주의 패션의 표현 특성 중 복식구조 및 디자인원리의 해체로 의복을 구조적으로 분리한 뒤 재구성하여 기존의 위치와 기능을 무시하는 전위 방식과 탈비율, 탈균형, 탈중심의 디자인 원리해체의 방식을 모두 반영하여 진행하였으며, 어도비 포토샵 프로그램을 활용하여 패턴 조각의 자유로운 위치이동 및 확대와 왜곡을 통한 형태변화를 시도하였다. 각각의 디자인은 비율파괴, 위치이동, 균형파괴, 중심해체, 구성요소의 기능상실 등 해체주의적 표현방식 5가지와 패턴조각 8가지(앞 몸판, 앞 옆판, 뒷 몸판, 뒤 옆판, 바깥소매, 안소매, 칼라, 라펠)를 개별 혹은 중복으로 조합하여 개발되었다. 개발된 작품은 울 서지 소재의 원피스드레스 2점과 재킷 2점, 그리고 울나일론 멜톤 소재의 오버코트 1점이며, 모두 솔리드 블랙 색상으로 제작되었다. 본 연구는 테일러드 재킷을 구성하는 다양한 패턴조각의 해체주의적 조작 실험을 통해 해체주의 패션의 표현 특성을 디자인 요소로 활용하여 창의적이고 다양한 디자인 개발 방식의 가능성을 확인하고 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to examine a deconstructive fashion phenomenon that is being expanded again and apply it to a tailored jacket and develop fashion design. It conducted the literature research to investigate pattern pieces of a tailored jacket maintaining a standardized form for a long time with the historical examination and the case study to explore expressive characteristics of the deconstruction shown from fashion recently and those of pattern deconstruction shown from a tailored jacket which are ‘the deconstruction of clothing structures and design principles’, ‘the indeterminate mode of wearing’, and ‘the perforating’. As a result of the case study on the contemporary fashion under the ‘deconstruction of clothing structures and design principles', 5 fashion design works applying the deconstruction of the bodice, sleeve and detail patterns of a tailored jacket were developed and manufactured. As for the design development, tailored jacket was separated and reorganized in a structural manner using the deconstruction of clothing structures and design principles, or expressive characteristics of the deconstructive fashion, reflecting the avant-garde neglecting the existing positions and functions and also de-proportioned, de-balanced and de-centered deconstruction of design principles. Besides, there was an attempt at the formative changes through free locational movement, extension and distortion of a pattern piece using Photoshop. Each design was developed by 5 expressive methods of the deconstruction including the destruction of proportion and balance, movement of location, deconstruction of center and the functional loss of elements and by individual or overlapped combination of 8 pattern pieces(front bodice, front side, rear bodice, rear side, outer sleeve, undersleeve, collar and lapels). The works developed contain 2 one-piece dresses and 2 jackets made of wool serge, 1 overcoat made of wool nylon melton in solid black.
