The folk-tale is the oral literature and the most primitive literary form , which has existed before the age of letter. On the other hand , it is the most popular literary form that is created and handed down among the people from primitive times to before modern times. For that reason , in the folk-tale very often is
included a way of life and the world of speculation. The aim of this article is semantic analysis between Yugoslav and Korean folk-tales. For a comparative study of the both countries is used “The types of the
folk-tale of Antti Aarne and Stith Thompson and 'A type index of Korean folk-tales of In-hak Choi who is a professor of Korean oral literature. The 2nd chapter deals with terms , which denote the oral literature and also the conception of that. In the 3rd and 4th chapters are treated with the classified systems of oral literature by genres in Yugoslavia , Korea and in general. In the same way as above-mentioned , 5th chapter is for the comparative study on the folk-tale of both countries with special reference to interpretation.
