청소년의 가정환경이 진로선택에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Youth Group's Home Environment on Job Course Selection

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper analyzed what factors influence the youth group's career decisions, particularly focused parents and family economic status. We got the following results of the analysis. First, the youth's household income, household assets, private education cost, economic and social variables of parents are major factors affecting the decisions in job selection and going on to the university. Secondly, there is some difference in job selecting, by the distinction of sex, while his aptitude is not significant factor in determining his course in life. Thirdly, overall, formal or informal job-searching program is ineffective in determining job and going on the university. Eventually, though youth should be neutral in home environment, but he was greater influenced by the parents' social and economic status in determining his career. And also formal program supporting youth decision couldn't sufficiently play a role.
By the results, we could draw the following policy implications. First, the education and counselling services related to the path in life should be improved dramatically. Secondly, when we make supporting program, youth's social and economic environmental gap must be considered. Third, in the directinon of supporting for vocational high school students for employment expension, comprehensive support measures should be taken. Finally, individual schools have the insufficient infrastructure for vocational education, so these insufficiency can be solved by making a network including related official organization.
