1920-30년대 한국 단편소설의 인지론적 연구와 문학교육

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 일제강점기 한국 단편소설 교육의 단초를 제공하기 위한 방법으로 1930년대 이상의 단편소설 <날개> 텍스트에 내재된 정보 체계를 인지론적 관점으로 파악하였다. 텍스트의 전달체계는 생존에 대한 해체적 인지구조를 통해 창조적 역사의식을, 갈등에 대한 전환적 인지구조를 통해 주체적 타자의식을, 성장에 대한 유목적 인지구조를 통해 초월적 자유의식을 환기한다. 그 심층에서 독자는 식민지 억압된 삶을 초극하고자 하였던 작가의 실천적 삶의 가치를 통하여 탈식민주의 의식과 소통할 수 있다.
<날개> 텍스트의 인지론적 의미를 문학 교육에 적용하면 다음과 같이 학습자의 탈식민주의 의식에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 첫째, 교수자는 생존에 대한 창조적 정보로 식민지 역사에 작가의식을 제공함으로써 학습자로 하여금 능동적인 삶의 의미를 각성하게끔 지도할 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 교수자는 갈등에 대한 전환적 정보로 식민지 근대에 대한 비판적 현실인식을 제공함으로써 학습자로 하여금 다문화 시대 문화의 상대성을 이해하고 올바른 가치관을 정립하게끔 유도할 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 교수자는 성장에 대한 미래지향적 정보로 작가의 현실 초극 의지를 제공함으로써 학습자로 하여금 실천적 삶의 계몽의지를 고취하게끔 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.
요컨대, 1930년대 한국 단편소설을 통한 탈식민주의 문학교육을 위한 한 방법으로 교수자는 <날개> 텍스트에 투영된 이상의 실천적 삶의 가치를 창조적 역사의식, 주체적 타자의식, 초월적 자유의식 등으로 환기함으로써 학습자로 하여금 21세기 탈식민주의 시대 문학 교육의 문화 사회적 가치를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on the Korean Short Story in the 1930's for Postcolonial Literacy Education
-Centered on Cognitive Study of Sang Lee's "The Wings"

The purpose of this article is to grasp the information delivery structure of text in the 1930's korean short story of Sang Lee's "The Wings" by cognitive approach, and to provide educational clues of postcolonial education. Lee opened communication channel to suggest his postcolonial consciousness to readers by presenting consciousness of creational history denying reality through deconstructive cognitive structure of survival, subjective consciousness of the other criticising reality through transitive cognitive structure of conflict, and transcendental consciousness of freedom overcoming the reality through nomadic cognitive structure of growth.
These information delivery structure in his text can be applied to literacy education as follows; First, consciousness of creational history denying reality can help students awakening the meaning of active life creating history rather than following given life. Second, subjective consciousness of the other criticising reality can help students accepting cultural relativity with community awareness of the multicultural society rather than being satisfied with self-centeredness. Third, transcendental consciousness of freedom overcoming the reality can help students inspiring the freedom of the practical life seeking future life.
In conclusion, he provided opportunity for readers to cultivate the value of postcolonial by suggesting consciousness of creational history, ssubjective consciousness of the other, and transcendental consciousness of freedom through his text in "The Wings".
