다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis is a study on Chunaengjeon which might be called a representative court dance. It dates back to Tang in China of 7 B.C. and in Korea it was renamed by sunjo's son Crown Prince Hyomyung to celebrate his mother Queen Sunwon Suk's 40th birthday in 1828.
This thesis analized mainly the motions of dance according to rhythm of Chunaengjeon and the research contents are as follows:
First, collection of score which is made up of melody and accompaniment rhythm of live performance centering around major melodic instrument, piribo, in the Pyung-key Youngsanhoisang which is an accompanying music to Chunaengjeon.
Second, wave-form description of upper and lower breath(description of curve drawn once)
Third, creation of plane figure through indicating the location of gaze.
Fourth, description of movement to front, back, left, and right and rotation in performing dance on the mat woven with flower designs.
And fifth, explanation of motions and analysis of meaning as a poetic diction.
Likewise, a dance score of Chunaengjeon was extracted through the above five contents.
As described above, I analized the relationship between the motions of Chunaengjeon Which might be called a representative court dance and 'meaning', 'composition of rhythm', and 'waveform of breath' according to motions, through which I tried to recognize the importance of correlation of dance and rhythm which would be applied to those who are involved in dance and Korea classical music by identifying the constituent principle and essence of motions according to change of rhythm and to solve out the unbalance between dance and harmony of music.
This work was done in order that exact court dance could be performed by more correctly understanding Chunaengjeon through understanding the explanation of dance motions and rhythm composition.
