학습자와 교수자의 참여도 향상을 위한 웹 게시판 시스템의 개선 = Improving the web bulletin board system to enhance participation of instructors and learners

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인터넷을 통한 웹 기반 수업은 선진국을 중심으로 새로운 교육 방식으로 활발히 추진되고 있다. 국내에서도 웹 기반 수업은 초·중등 학교에서 뿐만 아니라 대학의 사이버 강의, 기업의 사내교육이나 위탁교육이 하나의 교수-학습 방식으로 자리잡고 있다. 이런 웹 기반 수업에서 학습자의 적극적인 참여를 바탕으로 중도 탈락을 방지하고, 성공적인 강좌 수강이 이루어지도록 하기 위해서는 양방향 상호작용이 원활이 이루어져야 한다. 이런 웹 기반 수업에서 상호작용을 위한 수단으로 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 것은 게시판이었다. 그러나 기존의 게시판은 단순히 Q&A과 토론 정도의 제한된 기능만 제공한다. 이에 본 논문은 학습자와 교수자의 참여도 향상과 지속적인 상호작용을 유지하도록 게시판을 개선하였다.
구현된 게시판은 학습자의 게시판 접속과 학습 패턴을 분석한 자료와 게시판 접속요청 메일 발송, Q&A 횟수와 내용 평가를 종합한 점수를 제공하여 학습자의 참여를 적극 유도한다. 교수자에게는 답변 요청 메일 발송, 미 답변 리스트, 점수 미 등록 리스트 정보를 제공하여 학습자별 관리/평가에 대한 부담감을 줄이도록 할 뿐만 아니라 교수자의 참여를 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 관리자는 교수자와 학습자가 지속적으로 게시판에 참여할 수 있도록 전체 접속자의 접속 유형을 분석하여 안정된 시스템을 제공하도록 한다.
본 연구자료를 D회사의 CyberLearning솔루션팀에서 e-learning 컨텐츠 개발과 관리를 담당하는 전문가와의 심층 면담 결과 기존의 게시판보다 학습자와 교수자의 참여도가 향상될 수 있음을 확인하였다

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The WBI is being used actively as a new method of teaching in the developed countries. At home as well, WBI becomes firm in not only elementary or middle-high school, but cyber-lecture in campus, instruction in company, education in entrustment as a method of teaching-learning. From this point of view the WBI needs the harmonious bilateral interaction in order to induce a positive participation of students, to prevent them from failing on the way of course, to making a lecture successful. The favorite and most used tool for interaction in the WBI was the Bulletin. But the existing bulletin offered the restricted function of a simple ‘Q & A’ and discussion only.

The paper is intended for improving the bulletin to enhance the participation of the instructor and the learner, to maintain the continuous interaction. The constructed bulletin offers the analyzing data of studying and contact patterns and sends the mails to request of contacting the system, and prepare a total degrades of the frequency and contents in using ‘Q & A’. It will results in the positive participation of learners.
It lessen the burden to them of managing and evaluating each individual person sending a mail of request to reply, prepare the list on not replying or not registering a grades for instructors in the Bulletin. In addition, to Administrator, the Bulletin can provide the stable system to be able analyze the contact-style of total contractors.
The source of this research is from CyberLearning Solution Team in company D. The deepening interview on a new kind of bulletin with the experts responsible for developing and managing the E-learning contents in the Team confirmed the better participation of instructors and learners than a former bulletin.
