지역사회 아동이 지각한 부모 양육태도가 아동학대와 자기통제력에 미치는 영향 = 아동학대의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 자기통제력 및 아동학대의 관련성을 알아보고, 부모의 양육태도와 자기통제력의 관계에서 아동학대의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 제주지역 아동 1,559명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과로서 첫째, 부모의 양육태도가 과잉기대, 과잉간섭을 할수록 아동학대 및 아동의 자기통제력에 유의미한 영향이 있었다. 둘째, 자기통제력에 대한 아동학대의 영향력에서는 아동학대 중 신체, 정서 및 방임에서 자기통제력에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 부모의 양육태도와 자기통제력의 관계에서 아동학대의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 부분매개 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 아동의 자기통제력에 부모의 양육태도와 아동학대가 유의미한 변인임을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 긍정적인 부모의 양육태도를 유도하기 위한 프로그램의 개발과 실천적인 적용이 필요하다는 것을 시사한다. 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 아동의 건강한 성장을 위한 후속연구의 필요성을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study to examine the connection between the parents" rearing attitude perceived by the child, the child"s capacity to control himself or herself, and the child abuse and verify the mediating effect of child abuse in the relationship between the parents" rearing attitude and the child"s self-control. 1,559 children in Jeju area were surveyed with self-report type questionnaires to collect data for the study. The results were as follows. First, the parent"s rearing attitude had more significant impact on child abuse and child"s self-control when parents" expectation and involvement were excessive. Second, the child abuse, particularly the physical and emotional abuses and neglect, appeared to have impact on the child"s self-control. Third, the child abuse appeared to have partial mediating effect in the relationship between the parents" rearing attitude and self-control. Such results show that the parent"s rearing attitude and child abuse are the significant variables for the child"s self-control. This implies the necessity for a program designed to induce positive rearing attitude from parents and practical application. The need for further studies focusing on the healthy growth of children was suggested based on the said result.
