    Background: The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has accelerated the emergence and popularization of intelligent devices, fundamentally reshaping users-devices interactions. This paradigm shift has increased the demand for personalized and emotionally satisfying experiences, highlighting the necessary of identifing the specific emotions users expect from these interactions. Consequently, this study aimed to derive emotional vocabulary, and extract representative emotions for intelligent devices.
    Methods: A literature review was conducted to understand intelligent devices and emotion, which formed the basis for collecting relevant emotional vocabulary. Subsequently, expert review was performed to refine the collected vocabulary. Finally survey and factor analyses were conducted to identify representative emotions.
    Results: The study identified 66 emotional words and 13 representative emotions for intelligent device interfaces, including <Trustful Emotion>, <Achieving Emotion>, <Attractive Emotion>, <Pleasant Emotion>, <Considerate Emotion>, <Elevating Emotion>, <Proud Emotion>, <Creative Emotion>, <Assitive Emotion>, <Intimate Emotion>, <Flexible Emotion>, <Inclusive Emotion>, and <Aesthetic Emotion>.
    Conclusion: The representative emotions derived in this study are expected to contribute to developing and evaluating design concepts in intelligent device sector. Moreover, they can serve as a strategic guideline for comparing emotions and establishing development directions across diverse criteria, such as user age and device types.
