2021 다문화청소년 종단연구: 총괄보고서

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 다음의 두 가지 목적을 위하여 수행되었다. 첫째, 다문화청소년의 발달에 대한 기초자료를 구축하고, 다문화청소년의 발달추이를 분석함으로써 다문화청소년에 관한 과학적 정책수립 및 추진의 근거를 마련하는 것이다. 둘째, 구축한 기초자료 및 정책현황분석을 통하여 다문화청소년 정책의 방향성을 수립하고 구체적인 정책대안을 모색한다. 연구목적을 위하여 2021년도에는 패널 데이터를 구축하고, 다문화청소년 발달의 지역격차 및 성장격차에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였으며, 다문화청소년 지원정책의 고도화방안을 도출하였다. 연구결과 다문화청소년 발달에서 지역격차가 중요한 요인이며. 따라서 초등학교 시기부터 성장기회격차를 해소하기 위한 노력이 필요함을 시사하였다. 특히 설문조사와 면접조사를 통한 심층분석을 실시한 결과, 다문화 청소년의 개인특성 변인과 부모요인을 포함한 다양한 환경요인이 다문화청소년의 진로에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려진 학업관련 요인에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 다문화청소년의 학업관련 역량제고를 위한 4개 영역의 10개 과제를 도출하고 과제별 사업들을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objectives of this longitudinal study are as follows: First, to establish the scientific basis to build and implement policy initiatives for multicultural youth by preparing basic data on their development and analyzing the development trend; Secondly, to establish the policy direction and specific measures through the analysis of basis data and the current status. For these objectives, the study has established panel data as of 2021 and analyzed the factors that affect the regional and growth gaps in the development of multicultural youth and come up with measures to advance the multicultural youth support policy. The study has identified the presence of a regional gap in the development of multicultural youth, suggesting that efforts to bridge the gap in growth and development opportunities from the elementary school period. In particular, the surveys and interviews among multicultural youth as part of in-depth analysis have identified a variety of environmental factors, including the youth’s individual personality variables and parental factors as variables that affect their academic performance, a direct barometer for their future career. Therefore, the study has sought to come up with policy measures relevant to the academic factors and has presented 10 programs in 4 different areas along with individual projects for each program.
