미국 AI⋅디지털 역량 지원 정책의 현황과 한국 교육에의 시사점 탐색 = AI and Digital Competency Support Policies in the U.S. and Their Implications for Korean Education

This study explores ways to enhance AI and digital competencies among Korean teachers by analyzing current U.S. policies aimed at promoting these competencies in both students and teachers. First, it examines the background of U.S. policies supporting AI and digital com petencies, along with conceptual definitions and classifications of these competencies. Then, it investigates how U.S. education policies support the development and classroom application of AI and digital skills among American students and teachers. The analysis draws on an in-depth literature review, including reports from the U.S. Department of Education, academic journals, official websites, and media sources. Based on this review, the study suggests implications for Korean education and offers policy directions for Korea, such as expanding investment in AI and digital education and research, implementing comprehensive AI and digital literacy programs, strengthening education on AI and digital ethics, and promoting diversity in AI and digital learning
