    The purpose of this study were to analyze the fashion color trends in '90s and to find out the relationship between fashion themes and color images. 556 fashion trend color forecasted by the Premie｀re Vision and the Samsung Trend Book were analyzed.
    The major results show as follows :
    1) The forecast-colors were mainly distributed in mid to dark tones such as sf/dl, dk, and dkg, and in warm color ranges such as R, YR, and Y.
    2) The warm colors were dominant in low to middle ranges of chroma, but in case of cool colors, middle to high chroma ranges were more dominant.
    3) The Premie｀re Vision forecasted colors of various ranges of tone comparing the Samsung's forecast-color which were mainly distributed in lt, sf/dl, dk tones.
    4) The relationship between fashion themes and color images revealed that several themes were classified into similar image groups of lt, dk, dkg tones rather than hues.
