미디어를 통해 본 현대사회 철도모빌리티의 특징과 가능성 : 드라마〈#이자카야신칸센〉을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회의 등장과 함께 나타난 기차는 인간의 생활을 변화시켰다. 처음에는 물건의 운송수단이었지만 기술이 발전하면서 사람이 이용하는 교통수단으로 인기를 얻기 시작했다. 기차의 발달은 도시의 성장을 야기하고 이는 인간의 생활에 많은 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나 기술의 발달로 교통기관이 다양해지면서 기차는 점차 옛 명성을 잃었다.
이 연구는 모빌리티 이론을 바탕으로 현대 도시와 기차의 출현이 인간과 사회에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 살펴보고자 한다. 모빌리티이론은 이러한 인간의 ‘이동’이 단지 지리적인 움직임이 아닌 이동으로 인해 야기되는 다양한 것들을 사회적으로 연구하는 학문이다. 기존 모빌리티 이론의 철도모빌리티는 크게 시간, 공간, 사회적 교류 세 가지로 그 특성을 정리했다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서도 드라마에 나타난 현대사회의 철도모빌리티를 세 가지 특성에 따라 분석해보았다. 분석의 결과로 기존의 이론에 비해 현재 변화된 특성들을 정리해 볼 수 있었다. 인간은 기차를 이용해 이동을 하면서 다양한 활동과 경험을 할 수 있으며 이러한 활동은 주체적인 시간 확보와 정체성의 회복에도 도움을 줄 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
이를 활용할 수 있는 방안으로 드라마의 내용을 참고로 최근 여행 트렌드를 반영한 기차를 이용한 ‘미식관광’을 제안했다. 시대가 변하면 기존의 의미들은 변화하게 된다. 기차를 활용한 미식여행을 통해 현대인들이 잃어버린 무엇인가를 찾을 수 있는 또 다른 수단으로의 변신을 기대해본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

With the advent of modern society, trains have changed human life. At first, it was a means of transporting goods, but as technology developed, it became popular as a means of transportation used by people. The development of trains caused the growth of cities, which had a great influence on human life. However, as transportation systems became more diverse due to the development of technology, trains gradually lost their old reputation.
Based on mobility theory, this study aims to examine how the emergence of modern cities and trains has affected humans and society. Mobility theory is a sociological study of human movement.
Public-Train-Mobility in the existing mobility theory summarized its characteristics into three main categories: time, space, and social interaction. Accordingly, this study also analyzed the railway mobility of modern society in the drama according to three characteristics.
As a result of the analysis, it was possible to organize the characteristics that have been changed compared to the existing theory. It was found that humans can experience various activities and experiences while traveling by train, and these activities can also help secure independent time and restore their identity.
As a way to utilize this, I proposed Gastronomy Tourism using trains that reflect recent travel trends by referring to the contents of the drama. As times change, existing meanings change. I look forward to transforming into another means of finding something that modern people have lost through Gastronomy Tourism using trains.
