We investigate factors affecting chatbot use intention of online shopping mall users. We identify theoretical foundations from the literature and postulate that accuracy, personalization level, intelligence, intimacy, social presence, and piracy concern should affect intention to use more or negative intention to use. Based on 300 responses from online shopping mall chatbot users in Korea, we run the statistical analysis to assure the reliability and validity of the measurements. From the multiple regression analysis, we find that personalization level, intelligence, social presence, and privacy concerns significantly affect intention to use more. In contrast, we find that accuracy and privacy concerns significantly affect negative intention to use. This work will present pragmatic implications upon the design and management of chatbot in order to not only incent customers to use more but reduce factors that may cause negative use intention. Among functional factors, personalization and intelligence increases the intention to use more while accuracy decreases negative intention to use. Among emotional factors such as intimacy and social presence, we find that only social presence significantly increases intention to use more. Privacy concerns is found to decrease intention to use and increase negative intention to use.

With the development of artificial intelligence robots, it is expected that in future restaurants, an appropriate relationship will not only be formed through a certain level of communication between humans and robots but various customer experiences will also be achieved simultaneously. In the future human-robot interaction process, it is important to understand the complex psychological state of customers that leads to restaurant performance. Exploring new possibilities for introducing social robots in restaurants by examining customer reactions is of great significance. To achieve the purpose of this study, meaningful results were derived using a structural equation model based on the perceptions of 320 evaluators. Negative attitudes toward interactions with robots (NARS1), negative attitudes toward the social influence of robots (NARS2), and negative attitudes toward emotional interactions with robots (NARS3) were found to have a negative relationship with trust. Trust was found to have a negative relationship with perceived risk and a positive relationship with intention to use and intention to revisit. It was confirmed that intention to use has a positive relationship with behavioral intention. This study contributes to the development of robotics and successful management by providing a basis for building a new model by verifying factors related to trust formation in human-robot interactions in the restaurant industry.

This study analyzed the impact of users’ negative attitudes toward fast movies on their intention to use original content and empirically tested the parallel double mediation effects of ethical consumption awareness and expectations of the original work. To this end, a survey was conducted with 228 Korean university students, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 30 and the PROCESS macro v4.2 (Model 4). The results showed that although negative attitudes did not directly influence the intention to use original content, they exerted an indirect effect through the mediating roles of ethical consumption awareness and expectations of the original work. Notably, these two variables demonstrated independent mediating effects, indicating that content consumers’ moral judgments and expectations of creators are key factors influencing actual usage behavior. These findings are significant in that they theoretically and practically highlight the role of ethical sensitivity and value judgment within the evolving culture of content consumption.
