        Modern society is the age of the automatization in business, and in fact, it's difficult to cope with a cruel present situation unless we have a correct recognization and view on the automatization in business. That's because today the quickened development of scientific technique is promoting informationization throughout respective department of economy, society and culture, particulary, the demand that the better administrative service should be offered to the people according to the massive information material, the professionalizing trend in the administrative territory. Answering this requirement of the times, government has been trying positively to build a simplified government setup by doing the decisive act to establish the epoch-making government organization and save the human strength through the strategic reduction of the management since 1980s, but the department of administrative automatization has just passed the stage to supply the basical tools for treating affairs as the stage of forming the foundation and a partial machinization considering our social circumstances and technical level in present visual point. Only recently, the methods to automatize administrative affairs have higly influenced the administrative organization, considered to rebuild the inner or external flank of administration as one of the new nationwide city policies. Therefore, in this thesis reviewing the present status of the administrative automation in developed countries as well as our country, Korea, with the theoretical examination of administrative automatization by way of coming society of informationization and age of administrative automatization, analyzing the problem, and reconsidering the productivity of administration, analyzing the problem, and reconsidering the productivity of administration, the achievement of orderly administrative affairs by understanding our situational and technical condition, I would suggest the efficient method to aotomatize administrative affairs to promote its advance-mentization as following. 1. Establishing stepped, comprehensive and systematic promotable plan considering our social presence and economic situation, we have to propel it in the divection that we can reach the advanced level earlier without trial and error. 2. We have to lead the balanced supply of the major basical administrative tools to each organization gradually from a long-term point of view, contrive the economic development as well as the support of domestic concerned industry by practicing the investment for the department of electronic technique. 3. To carry out the productivity and economics of administrative affairs, it is urgent that we should machinize the Korean Alphabets. For this, popularization must proeed by propagating a typewriter of the Korean Alphabet, and we must strengthen the education of a typewriter, opening it as a curtural selective subject in the course of highschool and middle school. 4. As the automatization of administrative affairs is a ceaselessly advancing field, even in the present time we have to be introduced the new techniques of business aotomatization from developed countries such as America, Japan, create the automatization system of administrative affairs to deal with administrative affairs efficiently and establish the system of administrative affairs on. 5. We have to drive the build of supporting plan in the national dimension such as consolidating the administrative institution needed fro the efficient improvement of business automatization, fostering experts, and practicing education training, and grope the promotion under the relationship with the sixth economic development plan, the industry of intelligence and the administrative computerization. Hence, I aim that a strategic plan which can apply to actual affairs for the promotion of the middle or long year development plan to automatize the department of administrative affairs that government is trying can from a foundation, and consider that also in the future active and comprehensive measures must be taken rapidly on this.

        사무자동화는 첨단기술의 혁신으로 사무실에서 업무를 처리하는 사무기기들을 기계화에서 자동화로 바꾸어 업무의 생산성 향상을 증대시킴을 그 목적으로 한다. 이러한 사무자동화의 추진이 조직에 점차로 확산되고 있는 현실은 조직구조의 활성화를 통해 조직의 목표 달성효율을 극대화할 수 있도록 하기 위한 수단으로 인정되고 있기 때문이다. 결국 사무기기의 발전은 업무처리의 정확성과 신속성을 기계화 작업 그리고 자동화 작업으로 변신하여 발전을 지속하게 되었기 때문에 업무처리의 과정에 지대한 영향을 주게 되었다. 현재 업무처리과정에서 자동화된 사무기기가 조직구조에 영향을 주는 기본변수는 복잡성, 공식화, 집권화의 요인으로 이들의 관계를 측정하고, 분석하여 조직이 추진하고 있는 사무자동화에 대해 올바른 인식과 이해를 하도록 해야한다. 본 연구의 목적은 사무자동화에 따른 조직의 활성화 방안을 모색하기 위해 사무자동화를 형성하는 자동화된 사무기기의 업무에 대한 활용도를 측정 및 분석하여 조직구조의 기본변수에 관련된 정보를 얻는데 있다. 사무자동화와 조직구조의 관련성을 분석하기 위해 첫째는 조직에서 사무자동화가 갖는 의의와 개념을 정의하고, 둘째는 사무자동화를 실현시켜주는 자동화된 사무기기들의 특징을 분석해 보았으며, 셋째는 조직구조의 복잡성, 공식화, 집권화에 관하여 분석하였고, 넷째로는 사무자동화와 조직구조에 대한 연관관계를 기술하고 그에 따른 연구가설을 제시하였으며, 다섯째로는 연구가설에 대한 검증을 위하여 설문지를 사무직 종사자들에게 배포 및 회수하여 그 결과에 대한 실증적 분석을 통하여 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 사무자동화의 추진방향은 (1) 인간중심이 되도록 한다. (2) 목표설정의 명확성과 장기적 기대효과를 추구해야 한다. (3) 전사적 네트워크를 갖춘 통합시스템으로 이루어져야 한다. (4) 경영자와 관리자의 사무자동화에 대한 의식수준이 제고되어야 한다. (5) 사무직 종사자의 사무자동화에 대한 철저한 교육이 제고되어야 한다. 따라서 사무자동화가 생산성향상에 미치는 가시적 영향은 (1) 업무의 통제권 손실감소 (2) 전화통화 횟수의 감소 (3) 출장업무의 감소 (4) 회의소집 감소 (5) 오류업무의 감소 (6) 시간당 업무처리 건수의 증가 (7) 결재단계 간소화에 따른 정보의 변질이나 중개업무의 감소 (8) 사무절차 간소화에 의한 노동의 감소 등 긍정적인 효과로 나타났다. 결국 기업의 생산성 향상을 위한 사무자동화 추진은 적극적이고 효과적인 교육이 선행되어야만 가시적 영향을 보다 더 향상시킬 수 있다고 판단된다. 그리고 이러한 가시적 영향은 조직구조를 활성화시켜 효율적인 사무자동화를 제고시키며 나아가 업무의 생산성 향상을 극대화시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of Office Automation is product improvement in business by changes the office machinery from mechanization to Automation. Office Automation is processing in organization because office automation can maximize the goal achievement in organziation through activation of organizing ability. Eventually, development of Office Automation influence on the process of business treatment, which gives correctness and rapidity in business treatment were changed by mechanization and automation. Now in the business treatment processing, automated machinery influence organization, their basic variables are complexity, formality, focus, we should know the meaning of Office Automation which organization promote. The purpose of this study gets the intelligence about the basic variable of organization for the method of organizational activation, by measure and analyze. For gets the connection of Office Automation and organization, I analyze by these five step 1) Office Automations meaning in organizaiton, 2) Office machinery characteristics, 3) Analyze complexity, formalization, centralization in organization, 4) The connection of Office Automation & organization, show the hypothesis, 5) For proof of the hypothesis, the question papers are distributed to officer. I got the result through the provable analysis. The further direction of Office Automation (1) Make much of human, (2) promote to the clearance for target creation and long-term expectation effect, (3) Make the unit-system including the whole company network, (4) Manage and administrator should know sense of Office Automation, (5) Officer should be educated in Office Automation. So Office Automation effect to the product improvement like these cases, (1) Decrease of business controls, (2) Decrease of telephone callings, (3) Decrease of official trips, (4) Decrease of meetings, (5) Decrease of mistakes, (6) Increase of business treatment per hour, (7) Owing to simplicity business formalities, decrease labour. Finally, I decide to improve the visual influence, owing to positive and effective education, process of Office Automation product improvement for company. These visual influence make the activity of organization effective Office Automation, maximize of product improvement.

      • 事務自動化가 經營시스템에 미치는 影響에 관한 硏究

        In order to meet with the change of modern enterprise environment, the concern on the OA have been increased rapidly for enhancing productivity in office work. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the efficient OA system in Korea, because our present conditions in the OA is the phase introducing sigle-function office equipments. This study is started as an advancing study for this necessity. The major contents are summarized as follows: 1. The general theory of enterprise environment and the change of technological environment are overviewed. 2. The OA system is studied by the theoretical approach. 3. The problem of, and the impact of the OA on management system are analyzed theoretically. 4. Four cases in America, Japan and Korea are analyzed. 5. On the basis of case study, the total OA model integrating computer systems, telecommunication networks and all kind of office equipments is constructed. In the result of study the introduction of the OA has an great effect on the productivity in office work field, especially manpower and time reduction, and prompt document handling.

      • 사무자동화의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

        Recently, most companies are facing new circumstances within the business environment such as internationalization, localization, open door policies and other trends. With the emergent of these business trends, enterprises must diversify so they can not only, compete against each other but also maintain their present status. Therefore, to confront the changes in the business climate, the corporate sector is attempting to pursue the various forms of Office Automation for the purpose of increasing productivity and management information in order to cope with rapid changes in the business environment. For the purpose of curtailing expenditures and improving office productivity, Office Automation was first introduced in the early 1980s. Since the 1990s, it has been implemented in more office settings, pursuing an overall Office Automation environment. Plans for improving productivity have been discussed among various business groups from every aspect, but interests in office productivity through Office Automation have recently caused developed countries to make mid and long-term plans for an overhaul in their Office Automation systems and actively promote them. Although the introduction of Office Automation into Korea appeared in the 1980s, mainly as single-function equipment, Office Automation has grown into a Comprehensive functioning system due to the rapid developments in information technology, low prices and high efficiency. The objective of this study is to analyze Comprehensive Office Automation by evaluating certain problems identify in different case studies of Office Automation and suggesting methods of implementation. As shown in the fellowing case study, the implementation of a Comprehensive Office Automation in established Japanese companies as a mid and long-term plans have been a great concern and desire of top management. Recently, Korean enterprises have Introduce new Office Automation systems, that are based on a Client-Server System within a PC environment. Due to this overhaul, office productivity has improved which enabled management to rationally and effectively deal with the information to decrease their expenses. However, there are some general problems within Korea's Office Automation settings. The following are some of the Office Automation related problems that must be dealt with ; First, some of the internal problems within companies are the necessity for professional trained staff, a weak Office Automation department and the roles of people in charge of the Office Automation, the standardization of the Office Automation system and the minimal support from management and other related factors. Additionally, job tasks of the different office duties are not appropriately assigned. Second, the external problems of companies are insufficient governmental support and the selection process for the appropriate hardware and software on account of the rapid technological development. In order to solve these problems, corporations have to meet the new challenges objectively. It's to the companies' advantage to implement Office Automation through the following start-up suggestions; First, Office Automation start-up should be introduced and implemented through a systematic approach. The present and future anticipated circumstances of a company should be evaluated. To obtain this type of data, a need assessment study should be carried out to understand the company's needs and requirements. After the completion of the assessment, an appropriate Office Automation system should be implemented. Afterwards, the orgainzation should make an effort to enhance the Office Automation system's image, standardize their office affairs, select an executing plan and review the executed method. Filially, they should evaluate whether the developed Office Automation system was implemented according to the plan and if there are any deviations from the original plan or problems with the set-up condition. Second, managerial support and continuous training should be provided. For Office Automation initiation, managers and the overall staff should participate and positively support the program willingly after comprehending the importance and necessity of the system. Continuous trainings sessions related to the Office Automation should be offered. This education program should not be terminated after the system is in full operation but be rather objective and future-oriented. Thired, the government should render effective Office Automation support. Despite Office Automation systems being implemented by the business sector, from a total economical point of view, government support policies should follow. For this, there should be some form of control over the Office Automation drive through the guidance of a consulting organization for business and accordingly positive supportive policies for businesses related to the software industry and other affiliated fields. Fourth, user-friendly hardware and software should be selected. To carry out this task, each organizational unit should evaluate their office affairs by frequently referring to the users' opinions before selecting the hardware and software which should be oriented for users who have no professional knowledge, to be accessed easily and conveniently. Especially, when hardware and software are selected, a user-friendly interface should be the main consideration. After the user-oriented hardware and software are selected, the most important factors are developing the changed environment and standardization. The change among the different equipment should be considered sufficiently, and standardization among the equipments should be achieved.

More advanced Western Countries after 1970's have much Concern oven the increasing cost in production, decreasing of Products or unstable economic relation between inland and outlands. With the complete solution is very difficult on this matter, however, every country in whole the world agrees with increasing productivity in their general understanding when they sought on the matter. Therefore, this paper focused on the varing environment of today's Computer and information revolation. And it also porbeg the posture of every firm and the feeling of uneasogness to be out of job from their firms, or harvouring illfeelings by the members toward their forms behind productive office automation muchineries. Finally, although office automation is really important and can be done by the effective system in improving management and uplifting products in the firm, its master is hecman that it highlights humanity with them - enterprises and office automation - toward a real meancing and success.

      • 事務自動化와 組織構造의 關係에 關한 硏究 : 自動化된 事務機器의 活用에 따른 組織構造의 變化를 中心으로

        본 논문은「사무자동화와 조직구조의 관계에 관한 연구」를 하는 것이다. 즉, 사무자동화에 따른 조직구조의 변화를 알아보고자 하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 자동화된 사무기기의 활용을 독립변수로, 조직구조의 기본변수를 종속변수로 설정하여 그 관계를 보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 함에 있어서 문헌을 중심으로 하여 사무자동화와 조직구조의 관계에 관한 가설을 설정하고, 이러한 가설을 검증하기 위해서 설문지를 통한 경험적 분석을 하였다. 그리고 대상집단은 사무직종사자들로 국한하여 조사하였고, 회수된 설문지는 SPSS를 이용하여 통계처리를 하였다. 또한 통계분석에는 빈도(frequencies)와 카이스퀘어(Chi-square:Χ^(2))를 이용하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 사실이 확인되었다. 첫째, 사무자동화가 될수록 수직적 분화, 공간적 분산 그리고 집권화의 수준이 높아지고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 둘째, 그러나 사무자동화가 수평적 분화와 공식화에는 통계적 의미가 있는 영향을 미치고 있지 못함을 볼 수 있었다. This study is concerned with the relations between Office Automation and Organizational Structure. I intend to know about the changes of Organizational Structure, in accordance with Automated Office Machine. For this, Using of Automated Office Machine. I took the use of Automated Office Machine as an independent variable and Organizational Structure as a dependent variable. I set up a hypothesis about Office Automation and Organizational Structure on the basis of Library analysis. For this purpose, I made an attempt to analyze empirically through a questionnaire. A target group is limited to office workers, Collected questionnaire were analyzed statistically by SPSS. I used the Frequencies and Chi-square in a numerical statement. The findings are as follows: First, the more the Automation of Office is realized, the higher centralization level, a vertical differentiation and a spatial dispersion. Second, Automation of office have no effect on horizontal differentiation and formalization of organization.
