800GeV 양성자와 원자핵건판핵과의 충돌에서 생성된 매혹입자의 수명에 관한 연구
공간분해능이 뛰어난 원자핵건판은 매혹입자와 같은 짧은 수명을 가진 입자의 수명을 측정하는 임자검출기로 각광을 받고있다. 원자핵건판과 스펙트로미터 복합장치 내에서 발생한 매혹입자와 예쁨입자의 평균수명을 정확히 측정하고 ν_r 존재에 대한 확증과 CP파탄의 새로운 대상을 검출하려는 FNAL E- 653 제 1 차 런(run)에서 원자핵건판 117매를 스캔닝한 결과 모두 4개의 매혹입자 후보를 발견했다. 이중에서 매혹입자의 붕괴가 확실시되는 1 개의 후보를 해석한 결과 D˚ → π^+π^-π^+π^-K□˚의 붕괴가설을 세울 수 있었으며 이때 D˚ 후보의 수명이 (0.56±0.03)×10^-13 sec 라는 것을 알 수 있었다. Nuclear emulsion which has excellent space resolution is highlighted by measuring the short lived particles of a charm particles. As a results of scanning 117 pellicles of FNAL E- 653 1st run that is performed on the purpose of measuring the lifetime of charm particles and beauty particles accurately. finding new CP-violation tools and getting the confirmation of ν_τ , we find 4 candidate charm particles. Among these candidates, we analyse One candidate of confirmation and can set decay hypothesis with D^o → π^+ π^- π^+ π^- □^o . We obtain that the lifetime of this candidate is (0.56 ± 0.03) X 10^-13 sec.
약 2A-GeV Fe핵-원자핵건판핵 충돌에서의 파쇄현상에 대한 연구
We tracked Fe-Emulsion obtained at the LBL(Lawerence Berkeley Lab) by the along-the track scanning method. The tracked total length was found to be 1512.58㎝ and the number of events 198 and the mean free path 7.64 + 0.54㎝. We measured emission angles of 104 events among 198 events. The average angular distributions of the secondary projectile fragments measured and the charge of fragments Z have been identified by δ-ray counting, gap counting, and grain density measurements. From the measurements of laboratory-system(LS) emission angles of the secondary projectile fragments a target independent differential Frequency formula, dN=exp(a+bcotθ)d(cotθ) is obtained with the constant b=-0.041 at about 2 GeV/u. which seems also to be independent on the kind of projectile fragments. The significance of this approximate formula was discussed in relation mainly to Kaplon's formula.
