성장속도에 따른 대장균 rnpB 유전자 발현의 조절작용
전은순,이학란,이석재,정영환,조명선,정재훈,이영훈,박충웅 全北大學校 基礎科學硏究所 1994 基礎科學 Vol.16 No.-
Growth rate-dependent expression of the rnpB gene encoding M1 RNA, the RNA component of Escherichia coli RNase P, was examined using a hybrid transdcuing λ phage. The hybrid transducing λ phage was constructed carrying the lacZ gene fused to the promoter for the rnpB gene. The amounts of β-galactosidase were analyzed in the E. coli lysogen carrying this transducing phage grown in different growth media to see dependence of the rnpB transcription on growth rate. The synthesis of β-galactosidase from the rnpB-lacZ fusion increased with growth rate. This result suggests that the rnpB promoter activity is dependent on the growth rate.
Escherichia coli M1 RNA 유전자의 전사 종결
이영미,이영훈,박충웅 全北大學校 基礎科學硏究所 1991 基礎科學 Vol.14 No.1
The deletion experiment at the 3´flanking sequemces of the gene for M1 RNA, the RNA component of Echerichia coli ribonuclease P, was carried out to estimate the efficiency of tandem terminators, T1, T2, and T3. The serially deleted sequences of the M1 RNA gene were cloned into GalK expression vector pK0100 and relative galactokinase activities were measured. The major termination occurred at the first terminator, T1, and three terminators all together functioned with almost 100% efficiency. Biosynthesis of the polypeptides encoded by readthrough transcripts from the terminators was also discussed.

The study of the music therapy are developing in Korea. it is true that the music therapy applies to the church community during its development. There is a risk in this situation that these things apply without biblical perspective. The church music and praise songs which are sung in church reveal and exalt the glory of God and give thanks to him with joys. God not only receives glory through praise, but also heals human's problems and show God's presence. The church music is not just music or language, it includes the spiritual healing power of God. The healing power of church music is essentially different from the general music therapy which is made and intervened by humans. It is because that healing is a gift from God when humans come to him and look up to the one who created them. The church music therapy not only includes the psychological, social and physiological reactions and healing, but also spiritual tools that enable the holistic healing of human to happen. The problem is that the church music and the secular music is being mixed. The methods of the music therapy which is based on humanism theory have been applied indiscriminately in church and caused many problems. Music is a characteristic emotional language more than any other languages that people have. On top of these languages the church music can cause a reaction in human's spirit, soul, body and all areas of life through the work of the Holy Spirit, and at the same time has the power to change life itself and eventually lead to God. Its power is spiritual and psychological which is enough to arouse human's physical reactions. Therefore we have to admit the power of the church music and its therapeutic effect. The characteristic elements of the therapeutic effects of the church music are as follows. Firstly, praise has its language. The lyrics of the songs in Bible include the factors of laws and prophecies. Praise helps to proclaim the Word of God. Praise is always themed with joy and hope. The lyrics are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as well as the Bible is recorded by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Because of this, the lyrics have the potential to make the inspiration which have been given to lyricists reappear. Thus the Holy Spirit reminds Christians of the forgotten sins while they praise, and they can experience the overflowing grace and peace through knowing the love of Christ once again. Praise is the tool of the Holy Spirit to revive our memory. Secondly, praise awakens the senses and the intellect. Everyone has emotional elements and has desire to express it out. Praise refers to the desire expressed by the desire of faith in God. Intellect refers to the function that taking place through memory, discernment, judgment application etc. Praise is the most concrete and clear way of expression that reveals the internalized things out. The characteristics of praise, the best tool of the biblical music therapy, are as follows. Firstly, hymns are mostly major. Although there is also minor, 97% are major. The mood of Major songs are not only bright, but also powerful, passionate, dynamic and synergistic. The second feature is in the rhythm. Music of other religions are very static and quiet. The early days of the church music was the same, but has become dynamic since the Protestant Reformation. Praise can expect a good effect on healing because it contains important elements of music in terms of the beat, melody, rhythm and especially the content of lyrics. Religious music, especially songs with lyrics helps to establish their anger or fear, and the meaning of life. Moreover, it helps to be free from the fear of the world after death. Thirdly, praise can change the life of those who praise. The life of those whose souls are renewed day by day are also changed slowly. Praise helps to grow faith and the growth of faith can change the life attitude of those who praise. If praise is to declare the glory of God, the life of those who praise is also for the glory of God. The reason is that their language have changed. The hymns which are created by the word of grace have the power to change people's life. Fourthly, praise has the power to solve problems. Paul and Silas were put in prison while preaching the gospel in Philippi. They were beaten badly and were thrown on the cold floor of prison. Looking from the perspective of Paul and Silas, it was indeed an unfair thing. But Paul and Silas did not blame anyone. They did not even complain to Jesus who allowed all that happen. On the contrary, they sang hymns loudly to thank God. A miracle happened when they sang hymns. The door of prison opened itself and the shackles of the hands and feet were loosened too. Fifthly, praise is the expression of the faith community. Praise is not just personal expression, it is beyond the barrier of men and women, young and old, the upper and lower and education. And it can be seen as collective musical activities and all people can experience the sense of unity as one as children of God. In the form of faith, the active praise which is sang together in faith community has more strong religious influence than the passive speech. The biblical music therapy assists Christians to live an abundant life which is an indispensable element in character formation that eventually leads to the mature measure of Christ. Therefore, the music therapy of Korea Church is not the music therapy through secular music, but the biblical music therapy led by the Holy Spirit to give glory to God and help to make the healing of God's grace happen to believers.

Indian mission is so important for Hindu mission that they equate to each other in the 21st century. Despite the long history of Christianity, the Christian mission in India was not prosperous. In India, while there are about 3,000 tribes, the Gospel was only preached to just over 80 tribes. It shows that how weak the Christian mission in India is and also how much challenges we are facing at the same time. Thomas, one of Jesus' 12 apostles, came to India and started his mission work. The history of India mission started from Thomas, but Christianity is still very weak. The beginning of the Catholic Mission of India is in the 13th century. There were a lot of dedicated members in Roman Catholic Church who were well trained and were ready to go to anywhere in the world to start mission work. The only thing they need was instruction of the King or Pope. They lighted the flame of the world missions. The Catholic Church turned their eyes to the mission of the non-Christian region while Protestant Church was developing in Europe. Protestant missions wasn't started until 1706. The first Protestant missionary organization was formed in Denmark, the University of Hale. It was The Danish Hale Mission. The Danish Hale Mission sent Ziegenbalg, Pluscheu and 56 missionaries to India. The first organized missionary work on indigenous people was started to after 100 years since the Protestant entered India. Company was founded in the East India in 1600, and the minister was accompanied as well. But the direct mission work was started 100 years later. A summary of the features shown throughout the history of Protestant missions in India can be summarized as follows: Firstly, Indian mission was always with Pax Britanica. The colonization of India begins with the pretext of protecting the East India Company. Secondly, As the British colonial, India received Western influence in many fields, such as education, health and politics. But in religious matters Indian maintain their cultural and religious heritage which makes Indian mission very difficult. This unusually different to other countries. The opposition of the colonialism inspired nationalism, and the unique nationalism of Indian continues to let the intellectuals turned their back on Christianity. Thirdly, it is the weakness of the Indian church that they do not have the spirit of self-reliance and too dependent on foreign missions. Fourthly, Indian mission depends on group conversion rather than personal mission. In particular, the group conversion campaign in late 19th and early 20th century was well known. Indian mission has been started for 2000 years from the time of Rome. Nevertheless, the percentage of Christians in India is still small. What is the reason? Looking to some as follows. Firstly, the social-cultural factors. Lausanne Committee on World Evangelization points out the social and cultural barriers of the Hindu Mission as follows: 1. Hindu religious feelings. For example, the food habits of the believers, such as eating beef. 2. Worship is inhumane. 3. It is mixed with an excess of male and female students at home or in church activities of believers. 4. Christians are forbidden to take vermilion dot on the forehead. 5. Christianity is seen as a foreign religion. 6. Christianity is looking to be a threat to Indian culture and identity. 7. Christianity is not a patriotic. 8 Christianity is called the religion believed only by untouchables. 9. The impact of the caste system is the obstacle to acceptance in the Christian Gospel. Secondly, the political element. The political situation in India is one of the factors that make it difficult for Christian mission. Especially religious conflict in India is serious. Hindus and Sikhs and Muslims did not stop the violence due to religious communitarianism and have been separated from each other by their religion and religious community throughout the 20th century. Recently the independence movement of Muslim and the conflict of Hindu and Sikh are also being deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. All these serious political issues make Christian mission at an unfavourable position. Thirdly, elements of syncretism. The features of the Hindu fuse can be expressed in diversity, mixed, and tolerance. In other words, they recognize the various ways to salvation. This tolerant stance on other religions can be said about the general opinion of modern Hindu religious pluralism. So what is the method of evangelization of India? Firstly, Discipleship. Discipleship is the most important tool of the mission. The most important mission in the paradigm of Matthew is discipleship. Matthew rely on tradition about Jesus of Nazareth, in an attempt to present an identity in the mission communities. The Gospels he recorded is full of Jewish and Gentile mission concept from the beginning to the end. It is proved that the identity of the community is mission through constructing the Gospel in a way leading to the climax in the "Great Commission commands." Secondly, indigenization mission strategy. Indians do not have a good impression on Christianity. Christianity does not fit the social and cultural atmosphere of India, is regarded as foreign religion. It is even more hostile to the rebellion against the British colonial rule, it extended also to Christianity. It is necessary for indigenization of Christianity in this spiritual soil of India. Indians who have strong self-conscious demanded western missionaries, "Do not bring the Gospel planted in pots in the West, bring us the seeds of the Gospel planted it in our land". Therefore, indigenization is indispensable to the Indian mission. Mission is to across geographical, political and cultural boundaries, to preach Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who do not know God, to make them disciples of the Lord. However, the concept of missions today are much changed. A right mission concept is very important in this era. Discipleship is the Great Commission of the Lord and should also be the most important core in Indian missions. And indigenization mission is necessary to preach the gospel effectively. So far, the mission is always west-centered which is possibly the reason of the failure of Indian mission.
現代詩의 原型批評的 考察 : 尹東柱·柳致換·朴斗鎭의 詩를 中心으로 With the poems of Yun Dong-ju, Yu Chi-hoan and Park Du-jin

By means of the archetypal criticism theory as one of the main theories of the modern criticisms, Korean modern poems are analyzed. The result is as follows; Firstly; Yun Dong-ju's poems reveal to reach the world of reconciliation by the strong belief and will against the restoration of identity-through the scapegoat consciousness-through the self-examination and the deep shame of the loss of identity(the unattainable of the one-flesh sense of the ego and the-world) under the fetters history of japanese colonial rule. Secondly; The case of Yu Chi-hoan, also, under the situation of such the times as Yun Dong-ju's, reveals to reach the paradise return through the restoration to the mother's womb by means of the unconscious activity of water, which resulted from the psychological kind of regression after the loss of identity. Thirdly; Park Du-jin's poems, in the beginning, reveal to advanec to the paradise return through nature, and then to be on the way to the restoration of the loss of identity through the direct confrontation with an angle of view to the absurd realities of life.

By using the Korea persimmon juice as raw material, persimmon wine fermentation was carried out with 5 strain of Saccharomyces (S. cerevisiae, S. formosensis, S. sake, S. calsberg, S.ellipsoideus). S.cerevisiae and S. formosensis are very suitable for conversion of persimmon juice to persimmon alcohol but not S. sake, S. calsberg, S. ellipsoideus. In the process of fermentation, the compositions of amino acids were changed. Aromatic amino acids such as phenylalanine and tyrosine were decreased but arginine and methionine were increased. Amounts of sugars(glucose, fructose) and Saccharomyces affect on persimmon alcohol concentration produced. Persimmon alcohol concentration was double with adding of 10% glucose in S. formosensis fermentation. In S. cerevisiae fermentation, glucose could not augment the alcohol concentration. Finally we got 11.5% persimmon alcohol by S. formosensis. We designed a alcohol bioreactor by immobilization of S. formosensis on porous supporter and packing it in column.

Gypsum products have potential contamination by infectious human pathogens, which could be transmitted from patient to the gypsum model via impression materials. Therefore disinfection and sterilization of gypsum products are recommended. Steam sterilization: namely autoclaving is widely available in dentistry. The aim of this study was to investigate degradation of mechanical properties for dental gypsum after steam sterilization. The effect of autoclaving on compressive strength, weight loss and dimensional accuracy of specimens of commercial die stone such as Crystal Rock(CR : Maruishi), Die Keen(DK : Columbus Dental), Resin Rock(RR : Whip Mix), Tuff Rock(TR : Talladium) were estimated, and experimental gypsums{(EP) : 0.5wt% accelerator, 0.02wt% retarder, 0.1wt% surface agent, 0.1wt% Poly Vinyl Acetate} were also measured the above properties after autoclaving. For each group, five cylindrical(6㎜ in diameter and 12㎜ long) specimens made with manufactures water:powder ratio. All specimens were dried in oven until reaching the constant mass. After dried, they were autoclaved at 121℃ for 20 minute, dried again. Compressive strength was measured before and after autoclaving using mechanical testing machine at a cross-head speed of 0.5㎜/min. The dimensional accuracy was estimated by length change of specimens with digital caliper before and after autoclaving. For statistical analysis, ANOVA Tukeys Studentized Range(HSD) test and T test were used. Compressive strength and weight were decreased in all samples after autoclaving. There is significant difference between CR, DK and RR, TR in after autoclaving(p<0.05). EP exhibited the highest compressive strength after autoclaving. The weight was significantly decreased in all group except RR after autoclaving(p<0.05). The dimensional accuracy was not significantly increased in all group except CR. As this result, we found that resin-containing dental stone is more appropriate for autoclaving in dentistry.
