Vol.27 No.4
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the 0th period t-ball physical education activities in school on health fitness and power of male elementary school students. Participants in the study were 30 male students in the 6th grade of elementary school, 15 in the exercise group, and 15 in the control group. The exercise group conducted a t-ball exercise for 12 weeks and 2 times a week for 40 minutes before the start of class, and the control group lived as it was in their daily life. The effects of t-ball exercise on student health and physical fitness evaluation factors were investigated by pre- and post-testing of six PAPS items(cardiopulmonary endurance, muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility, power, and body mass index). For data analysis, SPSS ver. 26 statistical package was used to conduct descriptive statistics. In addition, repeated measures ANOVA(or ANCOVA) and bonferroni post hoc test was conducted to verify the effectiveness of interaction between time and group. The significance level of statistical analysis was set at p<.05. The findings of this study were as follows; The t-ball exercise showed a significant differences of interaction between time and group in cardiopulmonary endurance, muscle endurance and power in male elementary school students' health evaluation factors. But, muscle strength showed no significant differences of interaction between time and group. But muscle strength increased statistically significantly after the 0th period t-ball physical education activities. And there was no significant difference in flexibility and BMI. Therefore, the t-ball exercise performed using morning time can be used as an exercise that is effective in improving physical strength of male elementary school students.

With increasing transmission speed of backbone networks, it is getting to provide enough available bandwidth. However, the bandwidth is not effectively utilized in volumetric data transfer. This mainly comes from the transmission protocol, TCP, which is used for most applications. TCP is inherently difficult to adapt the available bandwidth because of it's own characteristic of transfer mechanism. UDT is a prominent application level data transfer protocol which is targeting high speed network. In this paper, we propose UDT parallel transfer technologies which is adaptive to network status and then evaluate their performance in two points of view. Firstly, we measure data transfer rate of UDT with rate congestion control methods, and compare them with basic UDT. Secondly, we apply parallel transfer technologies adapted to network status, and measure their performance. Experimental results showed that UDT rate congestion control method outperforms UDT with 106% improvement in RTT 100ms section set with jitter 30ms. In addition, performance of parallel transfer with rate congestion control method showed 107% improvement than that of parallel transfer in RTT 400ms section set with jitter 20ms.
