We report pseudodielectric functions <ε> from 1.5 to 6.0 eV of InxAl1 xP ternary alloy films. Data were obtained by spectroscopic ellipsometry on 1.2 mm thick films grown on (001) GaAs substrates by molecular beam epitaxy. Artifacts were minimized by real-time assessment of overlayer removal, leading to accurate representations of the bulk dielectric responses of these materials. Critical-point (CP) energies were obtained from numerically calculated second energy derivatives, and their Brillouin-zone origins identified by band-structure calculations using the linear augmented Slater-type orbital method.

본고에서는, 국내외 대기전력 감소 프로그램 소개를 통해서 스마트 가전 시장의 대기전력 요구사항을 살펴보고, 해당 요구사항을 만족시키기 위한 기술 동향을 분석하고, 장기적인 스마트 가전 소모전력 감소를 위한 기술 방향을 제시하였다. 대기전력 감소 프로그램을 만족하기 위해서는, 전력반도체를 통한 수동대기 상태의 소모전력 감소 기술과 능동대기 상태의 소모전력 감소 기술개발이 동시에 추진되어야 한다. 더불어, 대학 및 연구소를 통한 장기적 지속적인 원천기술 확보와 기업들의 실험적 접근을 제공하는 인프라 구축의 동반 전략과, 더욱 강력한 대기전력 감소 프로그램의 실행을 통해 기술개발의 필요성을 폭넓게 증대시키는 전략적 접근이 바람직하다.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of mannanoligosaccharide as an immunostimulator with different protein levels on the growth performance, proximate nutrient digestibilities, apparent amino acid digestibilities and immune status in pigs weaned at 21 days old. One hundred-fifty three way crossbred (Landrace x Large White x Duroc) pigs averaged 6.08kg of body weight, and weaned at 21 days of age were assigned to six treatments by a 2 x 3 factorial arrangement [two level of MOS (0 and 0.1%) and three level of protein (20%, 23% and 26%)]. Each treatment has 5 replicates with 5 pigs per replicate. The pen is an experimental unit. Pigs fed diet with MOS had improved weight gain and feed consumption (p$lt;0.05) during the entire period, however, the protein level did not improved growth performance, and no interaction between the protein and MOS levels was observed. Although there was no significant difference, pigs fed the diet with high (26%) or medium (23%) protein showed better average daily gain (ADG) and feed efficiency than pigs fed diet with low (20%) protein regardless of MOS addition. The protein level did not affected the nutrient digestibilities of experimental diets. And, also, there was no interaction between protein level and MOS addition in digestibilities. Only dry matter digestibility was significantly higher in pigs fed the diet with MOS than pigs fed diet without MOS (p$lt;0.05). There was no main effect of protein level and MOS addition, and no interaction effect between protein level and MOS addition in essential and non-essential amino acid digestibilities. Protein level or MOS addition did not affected immune parameters in pigs. Additionally, no interaction effect on immune parameters was observed between protein level and MOS addition. However, pigs fed diet with the medium (23%) protein showed lower CD4+:CD8+ ratio than pigs fed other diets regardless of MOS addition, and pigs fed diets with the MOS showed low immune status such as low CD4 positive lymphocytes, high CD8 positive lymphocytes, low CD4+:CD8+ ratio during the overall period without considering protein level. In conclusion, the pigs fed diets with the immunostimulator like MOS improved growth performance and maintained low immune system when compared to pigs fed diets without the MOS. However, there was no significant difference in growth performance and immune status between protein levels.

Future mobile services will require data transmission rates of 100 Gbps or higher due to the universalization of virtual and augmented reality devices. Therefore, THz technology, which uses an ultrahigh frequency band of 200 GHz or higher, is expected to be a candidate for such high-quality services. This article describes the current status of THz radio propagation characteristics, device and system developments, and network requirements to identify the overall trends in THz wireless communication technology.
Dielectric function and band gap study of ZnSe film

We present the dielectric function of zinc-blende ZnSe film, which has been determined by vacuum ultraviolet spectroscopic ellipsometry whose spectral range is from 0.7 to 9.0 eV at room temperature. In this work, we focus on determining the critical point (CP) energies above 6 eV, where the dielectric function has significant noise, by numerically calculating the second derivative of the spectrum with respect to energy. We calculate the band structure of ZnSe by using density-functional theory based on linear augmented Slater-type orbitals. From a comparison of data and theory, we can identify the experimentally obtained CP transition energies as E0, E0+Delta0, E1, E1+Delta1, E2, E2+Delta2, E2', E0' and E0'+Delta0'+Delta0 in the 0.7 - 9 eV region.

We report the best room-temperature dielectric function data for zincblende-type ZnS from 3.7 to 6.0 eV, obtained by spectroscopic ellipsometry together with real-time assessment of overlayer removal. These data were extended to 9.0 eV (without chemical etching) using a variable-angle system. This permits the first detailed analysis of the $E_2$ band gap of ZnS, revealing 3 bandgaps in this spectral region
