한국고서 표지문양을 활용한 텍스타일디자인 연구

This study reports on the cover of ancient Korea books, focusing on patterns of existing reports to find common ground as basis for the analysis of the pattern and subsequently creating a new design which can be recognized by the world design market. This aims to showcase the knowledge of Korea in the development of new textile design and to contribute to research. The study covers the analysis of various patterns to include those that: show humans and beautiful figuration such as in 'Plant Patterns'; gave fear or benefits to humans such as in 'Animal Patterns'; simple lines and shapes which are the most primitive form of expression from prehistoric times, the means by which the first humans began to express, the 'Geometry Patterns' which shows the thing itself rather than the auspicious meaning of object which are imprinted in 'Auspicious Patterns'. The report research methods include: data collection on Korea book cover pattern, Korea traditional pattern, and patterns associated with foreign professional books; literature review of papers and previous studies, data analysis, and use the Internet to search for information from DB. Specific ancient Korea book cover patterns were analyzed with the use of Photoshop (Adobe Photoshop CS3) and Illustrator (Adobe Illustrator CS2) and after reconfiguring the design which previously consisted of colorless designs, various color patterns were added to enhance the design thus producing a beautiful newly designed modern Korea textile design. The results of this study are as follows: First, most of the reports cover patterns may initially look different when viewed one by one, however, each framework has a similar look, and it belongs to a representative type of pattern, reconfiguring was necessary to find some of the rules for each pattern. Second, matching colors were arranged randomly, it was not meant to represent each pattern but to match an array of colors and patterns that make up the elements of line and color was used to harmonize these elements with each other. Third, the textile design was of a different color and thus was able to have a distinct subject matter. The plant motifs as compared to other textile designs were stylized by adding natural feelings to murals and brilliant color flowers thus expressing design splendor and beauty. Dragon motif which is the most commonly used motif in Animal Patterns is a dynamic figure wherein a color was used to represent the borrowed seoul color and the weather. Geometry Patterns represent the metaphysical aspects of geometry and the use of the blue-colored lines as a representation of the face tend to be a little more rational. Auspicious Patterns usually represent that which we so often feel comfortable writing thus a series of round and brown color combination was used. Almost everything that the writer wants to express in their reports are expressed in the cover and does not stray away from patterns. Various patterns overlap in the same category and have different development patterns, however in the creation of a new design, the features and the beauty of Korea has to be maintained. A great number of factors determine the pattern of report covers to include the different design disciplines and this is also useful in textile design. The use of antique cover designs in the development of new locals designs may be considered to make a difference in the future global textile design which could possibly capture the attention of consumers all over the world.

자수기법을 활용한 퀼트 패션디자인 : 작품제작을 중심으로

현대의 퀼트는 오래 전 여인들의 손끝에서 시작된 조각보에서부터 오늘날 다양한 소재와 화려한 기법의 아트적인 작품에 이르기까지 무궁무진한 발전을 거듭해 오고 있다. 생활에 필요한 소품은 물론 의상 디자인이나 텍스타일 디자인 등에도 퀼트 기법을 응용하고 있는 것을 볼 수 있고, 생활의 여유가 생기고 좋은 천을 쉽게 구할 수 있는 지금은 단지 절약정신만이 아닌 예술적 가치를 지닌 작품으로 손색이 없는 분야이다. 자수는 자연형태를 바탕으로 하여 자수의 다양한 기법으로 섬세하고 우아한 아름다움을 표현하는 독특한 예술이다. 이러한 자수의 장점을 앞으로도 발전 가능성이 많은 섬유 패션 중 하나인 퀼트 패션에 접목을 시도해 봄으로써 패션문화산업에 있어서 활용도를 높이고 지금까지의 퀼트 작품과는 차별화 되고 전통의 미가 내재된 현대적 감각의 개성적인 퀼트 패션디자인이 되도록 하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이론적 배경으로 퀼트의 역사와 종류, 자수의 기법을 문헌을 통해 알아보고 현대 패션에 나타난 퀼트 의상을 동아 TV의 2007 s/s Paris Milan New York Collection과 제1회 퀼트 콘테스트 작품집, 제2회 퀼트 페스티벌 콘테스트 출품작, 그리고 인터넷을 통해 살펴보았으며, 이론적 배경을 토대로 퀼트 기법과 자수 기법을 활용한 의상 2점 및 벽걸이 2점, 러너와 쿠션 2점, 가방 2점을 제작하였고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 퀼팅에서 홈질 대신 자수기법인 선수와 마디수를 수놓음으로써 현대적인 이미지와 함께 누빔 효과와 장식효과를 동시에 볼 수 있었다. 둘째, 퀼트의 수공예적이고 기하학적인 이미지에 지금껏 서양자수의 스티치로 약간의 부수적인 용도로만 쓰여 졌던 자수디자인을 기계자수와 수자수의 여러 가지 기법을 활용하여 작품에 좀 더 깊이 있게 들어감으로써 고급스러우면서 부드럽고 아름다운 이미지의 퀼트 작품을 재구성 할 수 있었다. 셋째, 의상 작품에 기계자수를 수직으로 수놓아 길이가 길어 보이는 효과를 가져다주었으며, 면을 소재로 한 단순하고 소박한 분위기를 보완해주면서 고급스러움과 화사함, 세련된 이미지의 퀼트 작품을 표현할 수 있었다. 넷째, 수자수의 기법을 활용한 수를 놓은 액세서리를 만들어 조끼와 백에 부착시켜 작품을 완성하는 등 퀼트의 기존 방식에 여러 가지 색상과 표현이 가능한 자수를 응용 접목시킴으로써 새로운 형태의 독특한 입체감과 질감표현을 나타낼 수 있었으며 .다양한 디자인 창출의 가능성을 엿볼 수 있었다. 본 연구로 패션산업에서의 자수 활용 범위 확대의 기대와 끊임없이 새로운 것을 요구하는 현대인들의 기호에 발맞추어 발전적이고 독창적인 퀼트 패션디자인을 구사할 수 있는 방향을 제시해 본다. Quilts have evolved a long way from patchwork wrapping cloths handmade by women in old days to today's artistic works involving diverse materials and gorgeous techniques. Their infinite potential for growth has well manifested itself in the process. Quilting techniques are currently applied to clothes and textile designs as well as everyday props. With more wealth, people now can afford to purchase high quality fabrics easily. Therefore, quilts are no longer made to save some money but proudly deserve a title of artistic works. Embroidery is a unique form of art to express sophisticated and elegant beauty in various techniques based on the shapes found in nature. Intending to introduce the advantages of embroidery into the fashion and culture industry and to combine it with quilt fashion that's one of the fabrics fashion areas with huge growth potential, the investigator set out to create distinctive quilt fashion designs that would be differentiated from the existing ones and possess both traditional beauty and contemporary senses. The study started with a review of the theoretical background including the history and kinds of quilts and the embroidery techniques through literature research. The quilt dresses in modern fashion were examined through collections and information on the Internet. Using the quilting and embroidery techniques based on the theoretical background, the investigator made two pieces of clothing, two tapestries, two runners, and two bags. The results were as follows: First, the two embroidery techniques, were employed instead of broad stitching for quilting and created modern images and quilting and decorative effects at the same time. Second, the embroidery designs, which had played a small auxiliary role as a stitching technique in the Western embroidery, made their way more strongly into the handcraft and geometric images of quilts based on the many different machine- and hand-embroidered techniques. As a result, designs of high class, refined, soft, and beautiful images were reconstructed. Third, the integration between the various quilting techniques and embroidery resulted in a unique sense of three-dimensional effect and texture expressions in new formats. And fourth, incorporating embroidery capable of diverse colors and expressions into the existing quilting methods worked to supplement rather a simple and plain atmosphere and open the window to more diverse designs. The results of the study will hopefully contribute to the expansion of embroidery's applications in the fashion industry and suggest some directions in creating evolving and original quilt fashion designs that can reflect the taste of today's consumers who constantly require something new.

통일신라시대 범종에 나타난 전통문양을 응용한 텍스타일 디자인 연구

Living in an era where the spread of information is accelerating, we will first have to be familiar with the past and the present in order to know a predictable future. Seeing various trends repeat the process of creation and extinction, what is common in each country is its own traditions. It would be of interest. It can be seen that Korea's perspective on traditions that were neglected due to rapid industrialization is also changing. This study aims to develop fashion products that apply traditional patterns that appeared in the Buddhist bell of the Unified Silla Period among Korean cultures that are attracting global attention. First, as a theoretical background study, the characteristics of Korean Buddhist bells were examined, and nine Buddhist bells from the Unified Silla Period were investigated among the Buddhist bells by period. The characteristics of each pattern were described by abbreviating the patterns common to the Buddhist bells of this period into six, and the meaning and symbolism of the patterns were investigated. The patterns engraved on the surface of the Sangwonsa Temple Beomjong, which is the most beautiful and has the perfect basic form among Korean Beomjong, were first investigated, and textile designs were designed using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The production of the work uses digital textile printing (DTP) for pattern design in 540mm x 540mm silk fabric. Eight works were written and two colorways were added for each work. Through a series of studies, we hope to have a new perspective on traditional culture that has been forgotten or far from our consciousness, and that its beautiful value will increase when tradition is reinterpreted in a modern way. 정보의 확산이 가속화 되고 있는 시대에 살고 있는 우리는 예측 가능한 미래를 알기 위해서 먼저 과거와 현재를 숙지해야 할 것이다. 다양한 트렌드들이 생성과 소멸과정을 반복하는 것을 보며 각 나라별로 공통적으로 나타나는 것은, 그 나라만이 가지는 고유의 전통에 관한 관심일 것이다. 우리나라 또한 급격한 산업화로 인해 도외시 되었던 전통에 대한 시각이 변화되고 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 세계적인 관심을 모으고 있는 한국의 문화 중에서도 통일신라시대 범종에 나타난 전통적 문양을 응용한 패션 제품을 개발하고자 한다. 먼저 이론적 배경 연구로 한국범종의 특징을 살펴보았으며, 시대별 범종 중에서도 통일신라시대의 범종을 9구 조사하였다. 이 시대 범종에 공통적으로 나타나는 문양을 6가지로 축약하여 각 문양의 특징을 서술하였으며, 문양이 가지고 있는 의미와 상징성을 조사하였다. 한국의 범종 중 가장 아름답고, 기본적인 형태를 완벽하게 갖추고 있는 상원사 범종 외 8구 범종의 표면에 새겨진 문양을 먼저 조사하고, 그에 나타나는 문양들로 보상화문, 당초문, 연화문, 운문, 용문, 주악비천문을 도출하여 포토샵(Adobe Photoshop CS6) 및 일러스트레이터(Adobe Illustrator CS6)를 활용하여 텍스타일 디자인화하였다. 작품제작은 6가지 문양의 이미지를 패턴화하여 540mm×540mm크기의 실크원단에 디지털 프린팅(DTP)을 활용하여 8작품을 제작하고 각 작품별 2개의 컬러웨이(Color way)를 제시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국범종의 특징과 조형성을 분석하여 본 결과 종은 상대. 중대. 하대로 나누어지며, 용뉴, 음통, 천판, 연좌, 연곽, 당좌, 비천 등으로 각 부분의 문양과 그 의미가 다르다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 종의 외부에 조각된 전통문양에 공통적으로 나타난 당초문, 연화문, 운문, 용문, 보상화문, 비천문을 살펴본 결과 각 문양의 의미와 상징하는 바가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 위의 전통문양을 응용하여 스카프 디자인을 제작함으로써 각 문양이 가지고 있는 한국적인 조형미를 화려한 컬러와 조화로운 배치를 통해 다양한 스타일의 패턴을 제시할 수 있었다. 넷째, 스카프 디자인을 DTP 기술을 활용하여 패스트 시대의 트렌드에 맞도록 제품의 소량 다품종 생산으로 개인의 개성을 충족시킬 수 있는 디자인을 가능하게 할 수 있었다. 범종에 나타나는 전통문양을 활용한 스카프 디자인이, 산사에서 소리의 장엄을 알리는 범종에서 나아가 새로운 예술적 가치를 드러내듯이, 한국다움에서 디자인의 창조적 개발이 전통문화산업에 새로운 가치 창출의 장이 되기를 바란다.

현대 패션에 반영된 한복의 재해석 : 2015~2022 패션 컬렉션 중심으로

Our hanbok is facing a new era with the global expansion of K-Culture. The rapid spread of K-Culture, centered on social media, has led people around the world to take an interest in hanbok, and it has generated Hallyu content that leads trends. This phenomenon has not only sparked interest in clothing but also in Korean food and lifestyle, and has become a cultural phenomenon. As a result, the Korean fashion industry has been revitalized and Korea's global standing has increased. At the ce nter of this trend is hanbok, which embodies Korean tradition, and it has become a new culture in the world. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the hanbok image has been adopted in modern fashion and what paradigm shifts have occurred as a result of the boom in Hallyu. We first analyzed the background of domestic emerging designers who use hanbok as a motif in their designs. We focus on the paradigm shift in the era when hanbok was placed in an important position in modern fashion design. We analyzed changes in perceptions of hanbok and trends in domestic fashion designers' hanb ok brands and successful overseas collection cases. Based on this, we analyzed how hanbok has been reinterpreted in modern fashion. The research methodology was based on literature research focusing on relevant domestic and international books, previous research, domestic and international collection materials posted on the Internet, and designer homepages. For empirical research, we classified and analyzed previous research materials on designer brand sites, overseas collection sites, fashion-related websites and newspapers, professional magazines, video materials, etc. In addition, we utilized designer brand Instagram and K-Pop star Instagram. The hanbok image, which is at the center of Korean culture, is developing with the public in the world of fashion. Therefore, researching the influence of hanbok on modern fashion is considered a result of reinterpreting hanbok. The results of this study are as follows: First, by analyzing the works of emerging designers who have adopted the hanbok image, we can see that the active participation of emerging designers has led to a paradigm shift in which hanbok is perceived as everyday clothing. Second, the hanbok image's expression elements were classified into major categories such as structure, color, pattern, material, and item, and analyzed by subcategories according to the distribution of the image. The structure was classified into silhouette, detail, and item, and the color was classified into primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Thirdly, the analysis of the expression elemen ts of hanbok images in fashion designer works from 2015 to 2022 in Korea and abroad revealed that designs adopting hanbok's structure conveyed its natural beauty and richness by incorporating the image into the silhouette. They reinterpreted the details of hanbok, such as the collar, sleeve, and pants cuffs, with the designer's unique designs in Western clothing. In particular, Western designers heavily adopted the waistline movement. The colors used were mainly primary colors or color-dong images, and natural patterns such as cloud patterns, geometric patterns, and composite patterns were utilized, which was a method that many Western designers adopted. They displayed a sophisticated harmony between Eastern and Western clothing. Korean designers mainly used patterns that reflected the symbolic beauty of folk paintings or traditional patterns. Both Eastern and Western designers partially used embroidery or patchwork techniques to convey Korean beauty. The materials used were silk, wool, and gauze fabrics, which displayed Korean beauty. The use of gauze fabric exhibited a metaphorical beauty that revealed the body's movement. The utilization of hanbok's straight-cut lines can be considered as an expression of sensual beauty that shows the flow of the body. The use of hanbok items was partially adopted for coordination, including jobawi, hat, joggeduri, gache, jaru bag, and sangtu, which completed the coordination. This research is significant because it highlights the position of hanbok images as a globalized element of Korean fashion, which could contribute to exploring possibilities for globalization. Analyzing how hanbok images are being adopted and modernized in contemporary fashion is also essential for the next generation of fashion education. It could be a vital indicator in leading new trends in the globalization of Korean fashion 우리 한복은 K-Culture의 세계진출을 계기로 새로운 국면을 맞이하고 있다. SNS를 중심으로 K-Culture의 급속한 전파는 전 세계인들이 한복에 관심을 갖게 되었으며 트렌드를 선도해가는 한류 콘텐츠가 생성되고 있다. 이러한 현상은 의상 뿐 만 아니라 한국의 음식, 생활에까지 관심을 갖게 되어 하나의 문화로 자리 잡게 되었다. 그 영향으로 한국의 패션 산업은 활성화되었고 한국의 위상도 높아지는 결과를 가져왔다. 이러한 흐름의 중심에는 한국의 전통성을 담고 있는 한복이 그 획을 긋고 있으며 세계 속의 한복은 새로운 문화가 되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 한류의 붐을 타고 한복 이미지가 현대패션에 어떠한 양상으로 차용되고 어떠한 패러다임의 변화를 가져 왔는지를 분석하고자 한다. 우선 한복을 모티브로 디자인을 하고 있는 국내 신진 디자이너들의 성장 배경을 분석하였다. 한복이 현대 패션 디자인에 중요한 위치에 놓이게 된 시대적 흐름의 패러다임 변화에 중점을 두고 분석하고자 한다. 한복에 대한 인식의 변화와 국내 패션디자이너의 한복 브랜드에 대한 경향 및 해외 컬렉션의 성공사례를 분석하였다. 이를 기초로 하여 한복을 현대 패션에서 어떻게 재해석 하였는지를 분석하였다. 연구 방법은 국내외의 관련 도서와 선행연구자료, 인터넷에 게시된 국내외 컬렉션 자료, 디자이너들의 홈 페이지 등을 중심으로 문헌 연구로 진행하였다. 실증연구는 디자이너 브랜드 사이트, 해외 컬렉션 사이트, 패션 관련 인터넷과 신문, 전문 잡지, 영상자료 등의 선행연구 자료를 중심으로 분류, 분석하였다. 그밖에도 디자이너 브랜드, K-Pop 스타의 인스타그램 등을 활용하였다. 한국 문화의 중심이 되는 한복 이미지는 세계 패션 속에서 대중과 함께 소통하면서 발전하고 있다. 그러므로 한복 이미지가 현대 패션에 미친 영향을 연구하는 것이 한복에 대한 재해석의 결과라고 판단되기 때문이다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한복 이미지를 차용한 신진 디자이너 작품을 분석한 결과 신진 디자이너들의 활발한 활동으로 한복의 착용이 일상복으로 인식되는 패러다임의 변화를 가져오게 된 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 한복 이미지의 표현 요소는 구조, 색채, 문양, 소재, 아이템으로 대분류 한 후, 이미지의 분포도에 따라 소분류 하여 분석하였다. 구조는 실루엣, 디테일, 아이템으로 소분류 하였고, 색채는 원색, 색동색, 오방색으로 소분류 하였다. 문양은 프린트, 자수 조각보, 누비기법, 매듭기법, 금박기법으로 소분류 하였고, 소재는 오간자, 공단, 갑사로 소분류 하였다. 아이템은 머리쓰개, 머리 장식, 가방(기타)로 소분류하여 한복의 특성을 나타내었다. 셋째, 2015~2022 국내외 패션 디자이너 작품에서 한복 이미지의 표현 요소 별로 분석한 결과, 구조를 차용한 디자인은 한복의 이미지를 실루엣에 담아 자연미와 풍성함을 표현하였으며, 한복의 디테일을 서양의상의 칼라나 소매부리, 바지부리 등에 디자이너 고유의 디자인으로 재해석하여 보여주었다. 특히, 서양의 디자이너들은 허리선의 이동을 두드러지게 차용하였다. 색채는 오방색이나 색동 이미지가 주로 사용되었으며, 문양은 구름문, 기하문, 복합문 등의 자연문이 활용되었는데 주로 서양의 디자이너들이 많이 차용한 방법이다. 동서양 의상의 조화가 내재된 세련미를 보여주고 있었다. 한국의 디자이너들은 민화나 전통문양의 상징미를 반영한 문양을 주로 활용하였다. 동서양의 디자이너 모두 누비나 조각보 기법의 활용을 부분적으로 사용하여 한국의 미를 전하고 있었다. 소재는 오간자나 양단, 공단의 원단이 활용되어 한국미를 보여주었다. 오간자의 활용은 신체의 움직임에 따라 신체를 보여주는 은유미를 보여주고 있었다. 한복의 직선 재단의 활용으로 인체의 흐름을 보여주는 관능미의 표현이라 할 수 있다. 아이템의 활용은 코디네이션을 위해 부분적으로 차용되었는데, 조바위, 갓. 족두리, 가체, 자루가방, 상투 등으로 코디네이션을 완성시킨 것을 알 수 있었다. 한복이미지의 차용이 한국 패션의 글로벌화로 이어지는 현대 패션에서의 위치로 제고하여 글로벌화에 가능성을 모색한다는 점에서 본 연구에 의의가 있다고 판단된다. 한복 이미지가 현대 패션에 어떠한 스타일로 차용되고 어떻게 현대화되고 있는지 분석하는 것은 차세대 패션 교육에도 필요한 부분이라 사료된다. 한국 패션의 글로벌화 차원에서 새로운 트렌드를 이끌어 나갈 수 있는 요소가 된다는 점에도 중요한 지표가 될 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

현대 섬유소재에 나타난 웰빙효과

The purpose of this thesis is to form an opinion about the concept of Well-Being which is issued in modern society and then to consider the Well-Being effect on modern fiber materials due to the changes in people’s cognitive skills. I will now briefly summarize my observations below: After I re-establish the Well-Bing concept as theoretical background of study, I found consuming pattern should be sufficient with three parts - nature, health and technique - from now . Accordingly, I'll describe the 3 parts of fiber materials. First, according as the people who have sensitive skin due to the occurrence of harmful chemicals and atopy is increasing, environmentally friendly fiber material is receiving the interest from consumers. I examined the quality of fibers like organic cotton, bean fiber, corn fiber , bamboo fiber , paper fiber which is cultivated from the farmland and does not use agricultural chemicals or fertilizers for 3 years, and investigated the development trends of these fibers. Second, the functional fiber material was formed with the separate clothing market from the general clothing in the past. But spread over five days in duty makes the people's leisure time longer, then the boundary which is divided as casual clothing and functional clothing drops off. I reflected these trends and examined the types and the characteristics of clothing which have the functions of quick sweat absorbency & high speed dry fabrics, water proof & transpiration fabrics, antibacterial & deodorization fabrics. Third, the span of life is increasing due to the advancement of medical science and the improvement of the environment and we are approaching aging society quickly. Thus, smart fiber material that is able to check healthy condition of individuals in real life has been developing. In classified smart fiber material, although it varies variously, I ascertained The Digital Well-Being fiber material that integrates health and digital function later in life. After study, I discovered that the kinds of fiber materials used by people was not an important thing in the past, but now environmental pollution, new disease and approaching aging society makes Well-Being materials in fiber come out quickly. Above all, Well-Being elements which include both physical and mental health are the same with the value people persuade and have products that spread easily and widely. In conclusion I say Digital materials which can combine circumstances with the environment and read feelings over environmentally friendly fiber materials and functional materials will be evolved with the Well-Being trend. 본 연구는 현 사회에서 회자되고 있는 웰빙 개념을 재정립하고 그 변화로 인하여 현대 섬유소재에 나타난 웰빙효과를 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 논자는 이를 위하여 문헌연구를 중심으로 국내․외 섬유패션관련전문서적과 논문, 전문연구소 자료와 각종저널, 인터넷 사이트를 중심으로 고찰하였다. 연구의 이론적 배경으로 웰빙 개념을 재정립한 결과, 현재와 앞으로의 소비 패턴은 자연, 건강, 기술 3가지 요소가 서로 충족되어 발전할 것이며 이러한 현상을 반영한 현대 섬유소재를 3부분으로 나누어 고찰하였다. 첫째, 천연섬유소재는 일반적인 면이 아닌 농약이나 화학 비료를 3년간 사용하지 않은 농지에서 재배한 오가닉 코튼(유기농 면)이나 콩섬유, 옥수수섬유, 대나무섬유, 종이섬유등과 같이 자연에 가까운 소재들로 이를 반영한 섬유의 특성과 개발 동향을 고찰한 결과, 전 세계적으로 환경오염의 심각함이 인식됨에 따라 규제가 확대 되어지고, 아토피와 유해한 물질들의 발생으로 민감해진 피부를 가진 사람들이 늘어나 자연친화적인 천연소재가 소비자의 관심을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기능성섬유소재는 활동 시 기능성과 쾌적성이 요구된 흡한속건소재, 방투습소재, 항균방취소재 등의 기능을 가진 의류들로 종류와 특성을 고찰한 결과, 주 5일 근무제의 확산과 현대사회가 주는 스트레스 등으로 건강을 위한 운동시간과 여가활동시간이 늘어나 과거 일반 의류와 별도의 시장으로 형성되었던 스포츠웨어와의 구분적 경계가 없어진 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스마트섬유소재는 다양하게 분류되어 있는 스마트소재 중에서도 미래 생활 속에서 건강과 디지털기능을 통합한 디지털 웰빙 소재에 대하여 고찰한 결과, 의학의 발달과 생활환경의 개선으로 평균수명이 늘어나 고령화 사회로 빠르게 접어들고 있는 시점에서 개인의 건강상태를 실생활에서 체크할 수 있는 소재의 중요성이 부각되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이상과 같이 위의 내용을 종합하여 보면 과거의 패션에서는 어떠한 소재를 사용하였는지의 중요성을 인식하지 않았지만 현대패션은 디자인이나 컬러등과 함께 소재 역시 중요하게 부각되어지고 있다는 것이다. 즉, 현 사회의 환경오염과 새로운 질병, 고령화 사회로의 빠른 진입은 보다 웰빙적 요소가 가미된 소재들로 나타나고 있는 것이다. 이러한 현상은 웰빙이 내포하고 있는 육체적․정신적 건강과 삶의 만족은 모든 인류가 추구하고자 하는 가치이며 파급되기 쉬운 속성을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 자연친화적인 소재와 기능성을 부가한 소재, 환경과 더불어 상황을 인지하고 감성을 읽을 수 있는 디지털 소재들로 자연, 건강, 기술 3가지 요소가 충족되어 발전 할수록 웰빙트렌드와 함께 진화 될 것으로 본다.
