닥나무 (Broussonetia kazinoki)는 뽕나무과 (Moraceae)의 낙엽성 다년생 목본으로서 한국과 중국, 일본에서는 닥나무의 껍질을 한지 제조에 이용하고 있다. 닥나무는 동의보감에서 화상 및 여드름과 같은 피부질환에 사용했다고 기록되어 있으며, 닥나무 추출물은 항진균, 항고혈당증, 항산화, 통증억제, 항염증, 항비만의 활성이 보고되었다. 닥나무 가지 껍질 에탄올 추출물의 EtOAc 가용 분획으로부터 NO 저해 활성을 추적하면서 3 가지의 활성 성분을 분리하였다. 활성물질의 구조는 NMR, Mass, IR 결과를 바탕으로 동정한 결과 1,3-diphenylpropane과 flavonoid 계열의 구조임을 확인하였고, 세 가지 화합물의 구조는 broussonin B (1), broussoflavonol B (2), broussoflavonol A (3)으로 규명하였다. 화합물 1은 1,3-diphenylpropane 계열로 methoxy group이 2'에 위치해 있었으며, 화합물 2와 3은 isoprenylated flavonoid 계열로 기본 구조가 flavonol이다. 화합물 2는 두 개의 isoprenyl group이 각각 6번 탄소와 8번 탄소에 결합하고 있으며, 화합물 3은 화합물 2의 6번 탄소에 위치한 isoprenyl group이 환으로 묶여진 구조이다. 활성성분들은 LPS에 의해 활성화된 macrophage에서 농도 의존적으로 iNOS발현 억제를 통해 NO 생성을 억제하였다. 활성물질 중 화합물 1은 ER에 결합하는 능력, ERE-luciferase reporter assay에서 전사활성을 나타내었으며, 세포 증식 활성을 보는 E-screen assay에서도 에스트로겐성 활성이 있음을 확인하였다. 화합물 2는 HepG2 세포에서 AMPK를 활성화 하였다. 본 연구에서 도출한 닥나무 가지 껍질의 생리활성물질들은 iNOS의 발현 억제를 통하여 NO의 생성을 억제함으로써 각종 염증성 질환의 치료활성이 기대된다. 또한 에스트로겐성 물질은 여성의 폐경기 증후군 완화에, AMPK 활성 물질은 지질대사 개선 및 당뇨병 치료를 위한 기초 물질로써 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Broussonetia kazinoki Sieb. (Moraceae) is distributed throughout the world including East Asia and the Pacific Islands. According to the ancient medicinal book (Donguibogam), this plant has been used for dermatologic disease such as burns and acne. The extract of B. kazinoki was reported to cytotoxic, antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibitory activities. Present study describes the identification of three compounds from B. kazinoki twig and their inhibitory activity of NO production in LPS-activated macrophage cells, estrogenic activity and AMPK activity. B. kazinoki twigs was extracted with EtOH and followed by partition with H2O and EtOAc. EtOAc soluble fractions were subjected to activity-guided purification by using NO assay. Three active compounds were isolated and their structures were identified by the analysis of NMR, Mass and IR spectroscopic data as follows; broussonin B (1), broussoflavonol B (2), broussoflavonol A (3). They showed dose-dependent inhibition of NO production through the inhibition of iNOS expression in LPS-activated macrophage. Compound 1 showed estrogenic activity in ERE-Luciferase reporter assay and E-screen assay. Compound 2 increases AMPK activity. These studies demonstrate that the components of B. kazinoki twig effectively inhibit the overproduction of NO in LPS-activated macrophage. They also showed estrogenic activity and AMPK activity. Therefore, the biological active components from B. kazinoki twig may have beneficial effects in the treatment of inflammatory diesases, menopausal symptoms and lipid disordered.

청소년들은 사회 문화적 영향에 따라 자신에 대한 탐구나 나를 둘러싼 인간관계를 쉽게 생각하거나, 중요성에 대해 인식하지 못하고 살아가고 있다. 특히 자아개념이 확립되지 않은 중학생들에게 무분별한 정보의 유출은 자아개념의 확립과 올바른 가치 판단을 하는데 장애를 주고 있다. 이러한 상황에 놓인 학생들에게 자아를 찾아가기 위한 파피에꼴레를 활용한 자화상 표현 수업은 자기 성찰의 기회와 능동적이고 창의적인 표현 활동으로 감정의 배출구 역할을 할 수 있다. 자화상은 청소년의 자아 정체성 확립을 위한 효과적인 탐색도구로 사용 될 수 있어 청소년기의 특성과 잘 부합하는 제재로 자신을 조형화함은 물론 자아성찰의 유용한 수단으로 활용되어 왔다. 자화상 표현에 있어서 파피에꼴레 기법 활용은 다양한 재질의 종이를 사용하여 이미지를 만들어 내면서 학생 스스로 만들어진 이미지를 이용해 해체 재결합하는 작업을 통해 직접적인 미적체험도 할 수 있게 해준다. 이러한 파피에꼴레 기법의 학습은 미술사와 연관되어 이해되고, 표현의 한계를 극복하여 보다 즐겁고 적극적으로 자신의 생각을 표출할 수 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 선행연구와 문헌을 통해 청소년기의 특성을 이해하고, 미술 교육에서 자기표현의 필요성에 관해 모색해 보았다. 그리고 파피에꼴레의 형성배경과 특징에 대해 살펴보고, 파피에꼴레 기법의 표현적 특징인 다양성, 결합성, 대중성의 효과가 교육적으로 어떠한 효과를 가지는지 알아보고 자화상제작 수업에 활용함으로써 얻을 수 있는 교육적 의미에 대해 분석하여 실제 수업에 적용해보았다. 본 연구에서 제시한 파피에꼴레를 활용한 자화상 표현 수업의 분석결과, 관찰과 해체, 재구성의 과정에서 관념적으로 항상 바라보던 자기모습 대신에 이런 모습도 나의 모습의 한 부분이 될 수 있음을 지각하면서 학생들의 심리적 성장에 도움을 주었다. 표현 활동을 통해 자신을 적극적으로 표현하려는 자세가 형성되어, 청소년들의 내면 외면적 자아탐구와 새로운 자기발견에 긍정적으로 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 나아가 작품 감상과 발표를 통해 자신뿐만 아니라 타인도 이해하는 태도가 길러지게 되었다. 본 연구는 앞으로 다양해져 가는 현대회화의 이해를 도울 것으로 기대되며 학생 스스로 자율적인 표현에 자신감과 만족감을 줌으로써 의욕이 상승되어짐으로 무한한 표현의 가능성을 가지는 동시에 자기 탐색으로 긍정적인 자아 정체성을 확립하는데 기여 할 수 있을 것이라 본다. The teenagers think lightly of self-exploration and relationship with others and they don't realize its importance. For the middle school students who don't establish a sense of self, lots of false information keeps them from forming a sense of self and judging the value. In this situation the lesson of self portrait with papier collé provides them with a chance to examine themselves. And the creative activity of expression plays a role as an outlet for emotions. Self portrait can be used as an effective search engine for the establishment of identity. It is a good material which corresponds to the characteristics of adolescence and it has been used not only for shaping themselves but also for examining themselves. Papier collé makes images by using various materials of paper. While the students disjoint and combine the images made by papier collé they can have an aesthetic experience. Overcoming the limitation of expression papier collé related to the art history has the students represent their thought actively and delightfully. The study involves the characteristics of adolescence through the pre-research and references. It seeks needs for self expression in art class. It examines the formation and characteristics of papier collé and shows which effect has its characteristics (diversity, combination, popularity) on the education in art. It analyzes the educational value obtained from the portrait lesson. And then papier collé is applied to the actual art class. After analysis of the portrait lesson using papier collé the study concludes that the students can find another image in their own image where they look at themselves in abstract way, which helps the students' psychological growth. During the activity of expression they develop the attitude to express themselves actively and the activity let them do the self-exploration and self-discovery. Appreciating and presenting works made in class they can improve the ability to understand others and themselves. This study is expected to help understand the contemporary painting which has a great diversity. Through the lesson the students will have confidence and satisfaction in autonomous representation. Also they will be motivated, have the possibility of infinite expression and establish self-awareness with self-exploration.

Today is the material civilization age, so people enjoy cozy, comfortable life styles, but there generates the side effect accelerating the competition. As the result from the accelerated competition, the egoism is prevalent and the humanity is lost, leading to that the community foundation supporting the society is weakened. These negative phenomena are appeared in weakening the 'social solidarity' or the 'community spirit' keeping the solidarity between an individual and a community or among the individuals. Individual going beyond the his/her community feel some anxious, lonely feeling, and further come to feel the sense of loss of their freedom and rights. Besides, in case that an individual cuts him/herself off the society, there also appears a phenomenon that he/she is alienated from the generations' solidarity and the peer groups. So the importance recovering the community spirit is more increased for developing social environment, social structure and the members in a society. In the past, early public art focused on the art works simply symbolizing historical figures or their achievements, but it has gradually expanded its scope, and in modern times, the public art was changed in the direction valuing various product processes and 'participation' and 'communication. Such direction change provides the audience some leisure activities and helps in enhancing their thought ability. Under such a situation, the education's true role is to make people understand each other and form the solidarity, not to make them win and rule others in competitions. That is, the public art encompasses the community's components of 'geographic area', 'social interaction', and 'community's bond and solidarity'. Seeing the public art activities in the art education show these positive effects, this study sought for the way to enhance the community spirit of art class based on the publicness. This study sees that the community art class through the participation is closely related to the community spirit in that the audience is the public and the public art as a new genre needs to participate in the community. Chapter II in this study investigated the meaning and importance of publicness and considered its meaning and importance in modern society. Chapter III investigated the meaning and importance of publicness in the art and the public art's transformation process, and the formation process of community spirit. Chapter IV suggested the foundation of public art's effects in increasing the students cooperation effect and their sense of belonging and their emotion of comradeship by investigating some cases that students in a community made a work in collaboration and formed the community spirit. And through these cases, the chapter showed that the art was the filed for students to have some sense of familiarity to the art and approach to closely. Chapter V investigated the possibility of publicness education in the art education, and proposed some suggestions after review the public art education's general implications. While the art education has been provided on the basis of its unique contents, but it has changed in various angles without staying in only one field. This study considers that if the art expands each field, not removing it in such a situation, it can be more developed. Besides, concerning the way to solve the problems of educational field with new art education method matching to the changing society, the community art should be introduced and expanded in the way. Also this study expects that variety of art classes will be facilitated through art teachers' continual researches and support.
지금까지 한국근대 화가들의 작품을 조선 화단의 연장선 위에서 생성 발전된 결과물로 보지 않고 ‘서양화’라는 영역으로 따로 떼어 놓고 보았기에 한국근대 화가들의 작품 연구에서 우리미술의 고유특징과 민속, 시원사상에 대해 논의하기가 쉽지 않았다. 그 대표적인 예로 이인성의 작품연구들은 서구 미술사의 논점에 지나치게 의존하고 있거나 일제의 ‘지방색’ 혹은 ‘향토색’ 장려 정책의 결과로 보는 견해를 벗어나지 못했다. 흰색과 적토에 대한 이인성의 관심은 조선인의 ‘백색 숭상’과 산악 숭배를 근거로 ‘불함문화론’을 주장한 최남선의 사상과 일맥상통한 점이 있다. 단군의 역사가 근대 한국인들이 지니고 있었던 공통된 역사관이었다는 사실을 고려한다면, 근대 미술작품을 단군사상을 기반으로 분석하는 것은 매우 타당하다. 이 연구는 당대 우리민족의 사상적 본령인 단군을 연구한 최남선의 이론을 근거로 이인성의 작품을 연구함으로써 ‘서양화’라는 영역구분으로 인해 단절된 근대미술의 정체성을 회복하고자 한다. The work of modern Korean artists have not been seen as an extension of Joseon painting circles but a new genre, ‘western painting’ which has been separated from traditional painting. Therefore, it has not been easy to discuss the unique Korean features, folkloristic meaning and archetype in modern Korean art works. One of the most representative examples is the study of Lee Inseong. The research is too much dependent on Western art history or not able to overcome a restrictive opinion which he was influenced by Japanese colonial policy to be encouraged of the use of ‘local color’. This study suggests that Lee Inseong’s interest in white color and red earth is corresponding to the idea of Choi Namseon who insisted ‘Bulham-munhwaron (Bulham culture theory)’ on the basis of the fact that Joseon people ‘respect white’ and ‘respect mountain’. If considered that the history of Dangun was a common historic idea modern Korean people had, it is very reasonable to analyze modern Korean art on the basis of Dangun idea. This study aims to recover the identity of modern Korean art by researching Lee Inseong’s work with borrowing Choi Namseon’s theory of Dangun who has archetype of Korean spirit.
The question “Who am I?” suggests us to find many answers. Moreover, people’s desire to seek one’s ego is one of the problems and the unavoidable impulses that all people encounter. As the first foundation to understand ‘Ego’, the purpose of the study is to involve the intention and the sublimated process as painting work. I tried to find my ego around me. So, I thought that I was very similar with the space which is very closely located and the object which is made up of the space. Thus, they become another I who represented me. There is a quote “Don’t pick up goods thoughtlessly” The quote means that private things involve person’s smell and energy, and shamanism elements which have the soul of human. So, we could even assume people’s taste or character by just looking their objects. We have had many relationships around us, the objects always exist in there. Moreover, the spaces which were surrounded by the objects are also essential elements and private areas in human life. Thus, reflecting me to objects or one’s private space is directed as if human beings get around. In other words, that is the desire to communicate with society through the message which is symbolic of ‘I’ in the private space and the object from the objects which were randomly abandoned in park, the bed which was mirrored in the mirror, to the private space where appeared at the gallery. The research was explained the meaning which private space and the object have and the tool which expresses the ego which involves in them, and it came into one way to take some time for self-examination. That is thing why I chose the genre ‘painting’ among many methods to research ego to live in the present.

21세기는 컴퓨터와 통신기기의 비약적인 발전의 영향으로 지식정보화사회로 도래했다. 현대인들은 넘쳐나는 정보 속에 살아가며 하루에도 몇 번식 엄청난 양의 시각매체를 접한다. 특히 청소년들은 스마트폰과 인터넷 사용을 통해 그 정보를 무분별하게 받아들이고 있어 이미지나 정보를 판단하고 수용할 수 있는 능력이 매우 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미술 감상을 통해 학생들의 시각적 문해력을 향상할 수 있는 있는 방안으로서 언어가 도입된 미술 감상교육에 대해 연구 하였다. 언어가 도입된 미술 감상교육은 학생의 미적체험 능력 확대를 통해 미적 감수성을 향상하고 아울러 시각적 문해력을 가진 청소년을 양성할 수 있다. 언어가 도입된 미술 감상교육은 학생들에게 텍스트와 이미지를 동시에 제시하여 다양한 사유를 할 수 있도록 돕는다.이에 따라 학생들은 자신의 경험에 기반 한 독특한 감상반응을 형성하고 작품에 대한 반응을 통해 자신을 탐구하며 어떤 대상을 볼 때 무조건적 수용이 아닌 스스로 판단할 수 있는 능력을 가질 수 있게 된다. 본 연구에서 수업은 작품에 대한 자신의 반응을 중심으로 작품을 감상하고 작품에 대한 가치 판단을 통해 미적 아름다움을 내면화 할 수 있게 운영되었다. 또, 학습내용을 학생들이 일상생활에 적용할 수 있도록 지도하였다. 따라서 학생들은 언어가 도입된 이미지인 광고나 시각매체에 학생 개인의 판단으로 그 가치를 판단할 수 있게 되었고 아울러 학생들은 미술작품에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 생성하였다. 또, 수업에서 활용된 다양한 활동 중 조별활동은 소통과 배려를 이끌어내고 표현활동은 다양한 시각에서 작품을 볼 수 있게 하여 사고의 확장을 돕는 등의 학습 효과를 거두었다. 본 연구자는 이러한 학습효과를 이룰수 있는 언어가 도입된 미술 감상지도법 연구에서 제시된 지도안이 교육현장에 활발히 적용되기를 원한다. 현재 교육 현장에서는 언어가 도입된 작품은 깊은 감상을 방해한다는 인식이 팽배하여 언어가 도입된 작품은 표현활동으로서만 대부분 활용되어 진다. 이러한 점은 미술교육의 균형있는 발달을 저해하고 학습자의 창의성 발달에 도움을 주지 못하므로 이 부분의 개선을 위해서는 본 연구의 지도안을 통해 언어가 도입된 작품감상을 위한 다양한 활동이 적용되어져야 한다. 이러한 점이 이루어 질때 언어가 도입된 미술은 난해하다는 기존의 인식에서의 탈피가 이루어지게될 것이며학생들의 창의적인 사고와 시각매체에 대한 판단력을 길러줄 수 있는 다양한 활동이 개발될 것으로 기대한다. In the 21st century, the knowledge information society has occurred by the influence of the incredible improvement of computers and communication devices. Modern people live in overflowing information and experience a huge amount of visual media several times a day. Especially, adolescents injudiciously accept the information through the use of smart phones and the Internet, so they need to have the judge information and capability to accept images. In this study, I have been researching the art appreciation education in which language was introduced as a means to improve students' visual literacy through art appreciation. The art appreciation education in which the language is introduced can improve the aesthetic sensitivity by cultivating the students' aesthetic experience ability and raise the students with visual literacy. The art appreciation education, in which language is introduced, helps students to think about various reasons by simultaneously presenting text and images. In the art work where language is introduced, the element of language and the image meet, various thinking can be done, and the search for oneself can be done. Thus, students have the ability to form a unique impression response based on their own experiences, to explore themselves through the response to the work, and to judge oneself rather than unconditional acceptance when viewing an object. In this study, the class was operated to appreciate the works centering on their own responses to the works and internalize the aesthetic beauty through the value judgment of the works By making these educations applicable to everyday life, they helped students to be judged on advertising and visual media, where language was introduced. Thus, students have created a positive awareness of artistic work, and thus enjoy aesthetic beauty in the lives of students, enabling them to lead a richer life. In addition, among the various activities used in class, group activities led to communication and consideration, and expression activities had effects such as helping to expand the thinking by making it possible to view works from various perspectives. Therefore, the researcher suggested that the guidance presented in the research should be utilized in the educational field, hoping that the work in which the language is introduced will break the recognition that it interferes with deep appreciation. In addition, I hope that students will be able to develop their creative thinking and ability to judge visual media by appreciating to works that incorporate language.
Interactive communication has been defined as being the main element of new media art. In order to communicate with modern spectators who possess new sensibilities and ways of perceiving things, there is a need to combine and expand various forms of media. Owing to the avant-garde art movement, the spirit of futuristic artists have deeply influenced technological art by accelerating the combination of art and science. This influence has become the motivating factor in the development of lighting art. In this context, it is no exaggeration to say that lighting art has expanded its boundaries all the way into our urban space by combining with various other media as well as incorporating the advancement of digital technology. It indeed constructs urban ecosystems reflecting the forms of life of urban residents. However, the modern urban space, which has become a new venue for lighting art, is losing its appearance as a subjective space for urban residents due capitalism. It is hard to deny that the exhibitions limited only to forms of light festivals or in a few popular locations of the city encourage biased city growth. This is also true for some of the current cases of lighting art in urban spaces. In this capitalistic mechanism, individuals become segregated from creative and subjective life and are isolated from their life and society. This paper proposes interactive lighting art as mediator in the appropriation space that is newly restored by urban residents. They recover from isolation by becoming active participants in artistic activities in their everyday lives by themselves in the urban space which lost its existential value.
파고지(Cullen corylifolium.)는 콩과(Fabaceae)에 속하는 약용식물로 예로부터 심장질환, 염증질환, 고혈압, 신염, 피부질환 등을 치료하는데 사용되었다. 최근에는 파고지의 성분 중 하나인 bavachin이 포도당섭취를 향상시킨다는 내용의 논문이 보고되었고, neobavaisochalcone은 adipogenesis를 억제한다는 내용이 보고된 바 있다. 파고지 메탄올 추출물의 에틸아세테이트 가용 분획으로부터 각종 컬럼 크로마토그래피를 통해 6가지 화합물을 분리하였다. 화학 구조는 UV-Vis, IR, NMR, Mass 등의 분광학적 분석법을 바탕으로 동정하였다. 1, 2번 화합물의 구조는 coumarin 계열의 화합물로, 3, 6번 화합물은 isoflavone 계열의 화합물로, 5번 화합물은 coumestan 계열의 화합물로 각각 동정하였다. isopsoralen (1), psoralen (2), neobavaisoflavone (3), bavachin (4), psoralidin (5), corylifol A (6) 화합물에 대하여 UCP1 조절 활성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 6가지의 파고지 성분 중 neobavaisoflavone과 corylifol A는 10, 20 μM에서 농도의존적으로 UCP1의 발현을 증가시켰고, psoralidin은 20 μM에서 UCP1의 발현을 억제하였다. neobavaisoflaovne과 corylifol A는 백색지방의 갈색지방화를 유도하여 에너지를 소모시키는 비만치료제의 선도물질로써, psoralidin은 UCP1의 발현을 억제하여 hypermetabolic condition 환자의 근소실, 죽상경화증, 간지방증등을 치료하기 위한 선도물질로써 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. A medicinal plant, Cullen corylifolium (Fabaceae) has been used in alternative medicine as an aphrodisiac and a tonic, and for the management of various diseases such as cardiovascular dieases, inflammatory dieases, hypertension, nephritis, and skin dieases. It has been reported that bavachin of Cullen corylifolium improves gulcose uptake and neobavaisochalcone inhibits adipogenesis. We isolated 6 compounds from the EtOAc soluble fraction of the ethanolic extract and their structures were identified by spectroscopic data analysis as follows; psoralen (1), isopsoralen (2), psoralidin (3), bavachin (4), neobavaisoflavone (5), corylifol A (6). Neobavaisoflavone and corylifol A increased the expression of UCP1 in a dose dependent manner, while psoralidin decreased the expression of UCP1 in C3H10T1/2. In summary, the neobavaisoflavone and corylifol A from Cullen corylifolium might be useful for the treatment of obesity and psoralidin for the treatment of hypermetabolic conditions such as burns, massive trauma and cancer.
현재화된 기록에 관한 장소 특정적 공간 표현 연구 : 연구자의 작품 『북성로 90-2번지』를 중심으로
Since the age of Renaissance in 15th century, works of art have been displayed under the form of gallery or cabinet. After that, it was in the midst of 18th century, the age of Enlightenment that the concept of modern museums and art galleries was established. Time passed by, and at the beginning of the 20th century, the contemporary White cube gallery exhibition, where artworks are labelled and displayed in roomy areas surrounded by white walls, was settled in The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) thanks to the contribution of Alfred H. Barr. Jr. Since the mid-20th century, a variety of experiments and attempts, especially site-specific art, which deviate from traditional way of displaying and exhibiting artworks, have been activated. Within the trend, I have been working on installation artworks within the concept of site-specific art for a couple of years. This paper is to analyze all the works of art in a solo exhibition, 『Bukseongno 90-2』with diverse perspectives, which expressed the vague and ambiguous distinction between the present and the past in Bukseongno, Daegu, by fossilizing the history and meaning of the place into installation art. The research starts by looking into the flow of the change in displaying artworks-from traditional gallery, White cube, and to a variety of site-specific arts-and summarizing the history and meaning of Bukseongno, Jung-gu, Daegu, the main theme of the artwork. Based on that, the analysis on the work of art was conducted by quoting discussions from many theorists and comparing/contrasting preceding works. As a result of the research, the characteristics of the artwork can be extracted as follows. First, unlike most other preceding works of site-specific art where the way of extracting theme relies heavily on the artists’ direct and physical collecting,『Bukseongno 90-2』collected patches of the artwork with the help of web surfing through digital media. The collection of data through digital media in this artwork was one of the most salient features which distinguishes the work from other site-specific artworks. Secondly, the work of art scaled some of numerous past events in Bugseongno and made the visitors face with them, leading to an undefinable sense from the coexistence of the present and the past. This can be explained by many senior artists and theories. Thirdly, the artwork is in line with John Dewey’s <Art as Experience> in that visitors can sense aesthetical impression by means of their own experience when watching the work adorned with light and smoke surrounded by the darkness. It also corresponds to the concept of Sublimity by Immanuel Kant in that visitors enjoy the work surrounded by the dreamlike and mystical atmosphere which it evokes. Therefore, throughout the research, three major characteristics of the artwork could be pointed out, from which I could get hint for my future artworks to come with more creativity and revealing inner necessity.
