예루살렘 히브리 대학교 교양 교육 소개 및 분석

이 보고서는 이스라엘의 수도 예루살렘에 있는 히브리 대학교의 교양 교육 시스템을 소개하고 분석한다. 히브리 대학교의 교양 교육 시스템을 소개하는 주된 이유는 다음과 같다. 학부과정을 3년에 마치도록 되어 있는 이스라엘 상황에서 절대적인 시간의 한계에도 불구하고 히브리 대학교는 2010년부터 본격적인 교양 교육으로서 ‘아브네이 피나’(corner stones)라는 프로그램을 시행하고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 이 프로그램은 미국 하버드 대학교의 General Education 프로그램이나, 대한민국 서울 대학교의 ‘기초교육원’ 프로그램과 비슷한 시스템을 갖추고 있음에도 불구하고, 근본적인 ‘교양’ 개념의 차이를 보여 준다. 이 보고서는 히브리 대학교의 ‘아브네이 피나’ 프로그램을 소개하면서 이러한 ‘교양’ 개념의 근본적인 차이를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출한다. 히브리 대학교의 ‘교양’이란, 첫째, 학문의 계단을 오르기 위한 기초 과정이 아니라, 다른 학문의 영역으로 들어가 전혀 다른 ‘사고 체계’와 소통하는 능력이다. 둘째, 단순히 다양한 학문 분야들을 폭넓게 경험하는 것이 아니라, 학문의 깊이를 도모한다. 셋째, ‘교양’에는 전공자와 비전공자의 구분이 없다. ‘기술’을 발휘하는 것이 아니라 이해하고 소통하는 능력이기 때문이다. 이러한 결론이 함의하는 바는, 교양 교육 ‘시스템’의 벤치 마킹 및 구축에 앞서 주어진 상황과 현실의 분석 및 ‘교양’에 대한 철학적 개념 정립의 필요성이다. The report introduces and analyzes the liberal arts education system of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. The main reasons for introducing the system are the fact that, despite the absolute time limit in the situation in Israel, which is supposed to complete undergraduate programs for three years, Hebrew University has implemented the program ‘Abene Pina’ (corner stones) since 2010 as a full-fledged liberal arts education. This program, however, shows the difference in liberal arts concepts despite having a system similar to that of Harvard University in the U.S. or Seoul National University in the Republic of Korea. Introducing the ‘Abene Pina’ at the Hebrew University, the report analyzes the difference in these liberal arts concepts and draws the following conclusions. The liberal arts of the Hebrew University, first of all, are not the basic courses for climbing the steps of learning, but the ability to enter into other academic domains and communicate with completely different thought systems; second, it does not simply experience a wide variety of academic fields, but promote the depth of learning; third, there is no distinction between a major and a non-major. This is because it is not an exercise of professionality, but an ability to understand and communicate. What this conclusion implies is the need to establish philosophical concepts for the liberal arts education.

대학 신입생의 자기효능감과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 수업공동체의식의 매개효과

본 연구의 목적은 대학 신입생의 자기효능감과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 수업공동체의식의 매개효과를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 충청지역 S대학 신입생 202명을 대상으로 2023년 6월 12일부터 16일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25를 이용하여 기술통계분석 및 변인 간 상관계수를 산출하고, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하여 매개효과를 확인하였다. PROCESS Macro 부트스트래핑을 통해 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 대학 신입생의 자기효능감, 수업공동체의식, 대학생활적응은 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 대학 신입생의 자기효능감 전체 및 하위요인과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 수업공동체의식이 부분 매개하였다. 이는 신입생의 자기효능감이 높을수록 대학생활에 적응을 잘하지만, 수업공동체의식이 매개할 때 대학생활적응 수준을 높여주는 경향성이 커짐을 의미한다. 이러한 결과에 따라 신입생 대상의 교과 수업에서 대학생활적응을 돕기 위한 개입 방안을 논의하였다. This study examined the mediating effects of classroom community consciousness on the relationship between self-efficacy and college life adaptation of freshmen. To do this, Data were collected from 202 students attending S university in Chungcheong province using self-reported questionnaires from June 12 to 16, 2023. Using SPSS 23, descriptive statistics and correlation coefficients were calculated, and the mediating effects of classroom community consciousness were determined by the multiple regression method. The verification of the significance of indirect effects was conducted through bootstrapping by PROCESS Macro. Main results of the study are as follow. First, the correlations between all variables were significant. Second, classroom community consciousness had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between self-efficacy and college life adaptation. Based on these results, intervention plans were discussed to help adaptation to college life in subject classes for freshmen.

대학교 교양교육의 의미

본 논문은 교양교육에 대한 어원적·역사적 고찰을 시작으로 하여 궁극적으로는 오늘날 대학교에서 행해지는 교양교육의 의미를 재정립하고자 하는 연구이다. 역사적으로 로마의 자유인에게 그들의 사회적 공적 역할을 바르게 수행하기 위한 덕목을 쌓기 위한 교육으로 행해진 교양과목(artes liberales)은 그 역사적 의미를 오늘로 연장시켜볼 때, 오늘 시민사회의 지도적 역할을 담당해야 할 대학교 졸업자들이 지녀야 할 사회적 공적 책무에 대한 보편적 교양 교과목의 의미를 지닌다. 이러한 교양교육의 의미는 교양교육의 역할이 강조되는 미국 대학의 현실과 복잡성과 융복합으로 특징지어지는 현대 사회에서의 지식인의 역할을 고려할 때 더욱 크게 부각된다. 이러한 고찰의 결과 오늘날 대학교에서의 교양교육은 대학에서 공부한 졸업 자들에게 현대사회에 적응할 수 있는 능력을 부여하는 가장 중요한 교육의 하나일 뿐만 아니라, 그들이 현대사회의 흐름에 무분별하고 무책임하게 스스로의 몸을 맡기는 것이 아니라, 오히려 사회의 흐름을 바르게 주도하는 지도자의 역량을 부여하는 교육 이다. 이상의 교양교육의 의미에 부응하여 교양교육을 담당하는 교수진은 물론 대학 전반적 으로 교양교육에 대한 원론적 고찰을 하는 노력이 절실히 요구되며, 이러한 고찰을 통한 교양교육의 근원적인 개선이 절실하다. This thesis suggests needs to re-establish of liberal arts in the university today, starting from etymological and historical research of liberal arts . Basically liberal arts are those subjects or skills that in classical antiquity were considered essential for a free person in Ancient Greece. Liberal education was to let them know how to participate in public debate, defend himself in court, serve on juries and military service. It meant essential education for leaders. If the roles of free person at that time are searched in our society, they might be those of bachelor of arts, because possible leaders or the intelligent in our society can be thought students in the university. In this sense, liberal education today should be an approach to learning that empowers individuals and prepares them to deal with complexity, diversity, and change. It provides students with broad knowledge of the wider world. Therefore it is necessary duty for professors of liberal arts faculty to know essential meaning about liberal arts and try best to make radical change

대학생의 모애착이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향: 자기위로능력을 통한 완벽주의의 조절된 매개효과

본 연구는 대학생의 모애착이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에서 완벽주의의 매개효과와 자기위로능력의 조절된 매개효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 대학생 344명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 자료를 SPSS 18.0 및 SPSS PROCESS Macro 3.1을 사용하여 매개효과와 조절효과, 조절된 매개효과를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모애착과 부적응적 완벽주의, 자기위로, 대학생활 적응은 모두 유의한 상관이 있었지만 모 애착과 적응적 완벽주의와 상관이 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 모 애착이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에서 부적응적 완벽주의의 부분 매개효과를 나타났다. 셋째, 모 애착이 부적응적 완벽주의에 미치는 영향에서 자기위로능력의 조절효과가 나타났다. 넷째, 모 애착과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 부적응적 완벽주의가 매개된 상태에서 자기위로능력의 조절된 매개효과가 있었다. 이 결과 대학생의 대학생활적응을 돕기 위해 모애착, 완벽주의, 자기위로능력이 통합적 고려되어야 함을 시사한다. The purpose of this research is to identify the mediating effect of perfectionism and the moderated mediating effect of self soothing ability on the relationship between Mother Attachment and College Life Adjustment in college students. The survey was conducted to 344 college students and data analysis was conducted through SPSS 25 and SPSS PROCESS Macro 3.1. The followings are the main results: First, mother attachment was not correlated with adaptive perfectionism. Second, maladaptive perfectionism partially mediated between mother attachment and college life adjustment. Third, self soothing ability moderated the relationship between mother attachment and maladaptive perfectionism. Fourth, On the relationship between mother attachment and college life adjustment, there was the moderated mediating effect of self soothing ability on the mediating effect of maladaptive perfectionism. Based on the results, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

PocketPC 플랫폼에서 효율적인 데이터베이스 처리 기법

본 논문에서는 최근 널리 사용되고 있는 PDA(personal data assistance)를 이용한 데이터베이스의 실시간 처리기법에 대하여 다룬다. 효과적인 정보관리를 위하여 데이터베이스의 사용은 필수적이며, 시공간에 제약받지 않는 데이터베이스의 활용은 다양한 실용 분야에서 중요하게 요구되는 사안이기도 하다. Ethernet, USB, IEEE802.11b, WAP, Bluetooth 등의 다양한 연결을 획득한 상태에서는 데이터베이스와 응용프로그램의 실시간 정보교환을 통해서 적절한 정보관리가 가능하다. 그러나, 이러한 연결이 불가능한 오프라인 상태에서도 정보관리의 연속성이 훼손되어서는 안되며, 이를 가능하게 하는 것이 로컬 데이터베이스와의 동기(synchronization)를 사용하는 것이다. 휴대하기 용이하고, 적절한 용량의 처리가 가능하며, 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 PocketPC 플랫폼을 탑재한 PDA를 사용하여 중앙 데이터베이스의 효율적인 정보 처리를 가능하게하는 기법에 대하여 살펴보고, 그 시스템에 대한 구조적 고찰을 수행한다.
