        한국 맑스주의의 위기 이후 인문학의 쟁점들

        한국에서 맑스주의의 위기 이후 인문학은 주요 사건들과 사회운동에 적극적으로 참여해왔다. 이 과정에서 형성된 인문학의 주요 쟁점들은 국가, 포퓰리즘, 새로운 정치적 주체, 페미니즘 등이다. 하지만 이와 같은 쟁점들에 접근하는 데 있어서 인문학은 이론적, 실천적 한계들을 안고 있다. 이와 관련하여 역사적 맑스주의는 한국 인문학의 자기 혁신에 중요한 참조가 될 수 있다. 또한 맑스주의도 혁신된 인문학적 기반 위에서 새로운 길을 사유할 수 있다. A Humanitas is concerned with tragic accidents and political events, so it has always been involved in social movements after the crisis of Marxism in Korea. The main issues with its intervention in society are within the nation-state, populism, new political subjects, and Feminism. However, in approaching the issues, Humanitas has theoretical and practical limitations. In this regard, historical Marxism can be an important reference for self-innovation in Korean Humanitas. Marxism can also illuminate a new path on the basis of innovative Humanitas.

        인천과 부산, 대마도와 나가사키의 음식문화

        The article is organized as follows. The first section clarifies research all questions, the purpose of this study and methodology regarding food culture comparisons among the resident food cultures of Incheon, Busan, Daemado & Nagasaki. The second deals with methods of study, a literature review, previous research and theoretical background of the food culture. The comparative variables of any characteristic of food culture are international regional ecology, climate, colony policy and religion, and so forth. This paper analyzes the effects between food materials, recipes, food manners and food culture. The third presents a comparative analysis with respect to the food-based cultures of Incheon, Busan, Daemado & Nagasaki. The forth suggests interchange direction for fostering food culture comparisons among Incheon, Busan, Daemado & Nagasaki. The last contains the conclusion that there are fundamentally similar elements of food-based culture among these sea port cities though there are minor differences within the preparation and display of the food.

        학문의 자기목적성과 유용성

        1810년 빌헬름 폰 훔볼트의 주도로 설립된 독일 베를린대학은 당시 위기에 처해 있었던 독일 대학의 상황을 극복한 새로운 근대 대학의 모델로 간주된다. 이러한 개혁대학의 성공은 훔볼트 개인의 이론적·행정적 역량에 힘입었을 뿐만 아니라, 당대를 대표하던 학자들인 쉘링, 피히테, 슐라이어마허 등의 학문론과 대학론을 배경으로 한다. 본고에서는 1802년부터 1810년 시기에 작성된 이들 학문론의 출발점인 학문의 보편적 이념과 이로부터 도출되는 대학과 학문의 자기목적성개념을 중심으로 이들의 대학개혁 담론을 정리한다. 신인문주의와 독일 이상주의에 근거한 이들의 대학론은 현재 호모 에코노미쿠스 개념의 당시 판본이었던 계몽주의-공리주의적 유용성 모델을 넘어서서, 대학 자율성의 기반이 되는 학문의 자기목적성을 주창한다. 이는 시민사회와 국가라는 외적 목적에 종속되지 않는 대학과 학문의 자율성 요청의 근간을 이루면서 서구 근대 대학의 기본 원칙으로 자리매김 된다. The opening of Berlin University in 1810 initiated by Wilhelm von Humboldt is considered to have provided a new model for modern universities. The success of this model is due not only to the outstanding scholarships and the level of competence of Humboldt personally, but also to a variety of discourses on university reform by advocate scholars of the time such as Schelling, Fichte, Schleiermacher, etc. This research aims to explore and reconstruct their discourses with regard to their concept of the ‘universality of scholarship’, as well as the concept of its self-purposiveness (“Selbstzweck”). The new model of Berlin University, based principally on the school of New Humanism and German idealism, postulated on the autonomy of universities. In opposition to the two-main antagonistic outer elements, bourgeois society and the state, the regulative concept of the inner purposiveness of scholarships and universities has been established as a fundamental principle of the modern university.

        인천대학교 글쓰기 교재 검토

        본고는 인천대학교 글쓰기 교재의 문제점을 점검하고 그 대안을 제시하는데 목적을 둔다. 우선 작문 교육의 목표와 교재의 구성 체계를 점검한다. 대학 작문 교육의 목표는 작문과 관련된 핵심 개념의 세부범주를 확립하고 교육부에서 고시한 핵심 역량이나 작문 기능을 종합적으로 고려해야 한다. 교재의 구성면에서는 ‘글읽기가 글쓰기이다’라는 명제를 재고할 필요가 있다. 다음으로 글쓰기 기초 이론 영역에서 형식주의 작문 이론을 점검하고 과정 중심의 작문 이론으로 대체하거나 보완할 사항을 제시한다. 『대학인의 글쓰기』에서 작문의 기술 부문을 복구하면 학습자가 학습대상을 재고하고 쓰기의 수단으로 활용할 수 있다. 또한 글쓰기의 절차를 회귀적 모형으로 대체하면 학습자의 글쓰기 습관을 개선하는 방법으로도 적용할 수 있다. 마지막으로 글쓰기 교재의 발문 유형들을 개방형 유형과 폐쇄형 유형으로 정리하고 학습 내용의 영역에 따른 발문 유형의 배정 문제를 점검한다. 글쓰기의 기초 이론 영역에서는 재구성형 발문의 비율을 높이고 적용형 발문과 평가형 발문의 비율을 낮추어 자기관리 역량과 의사소통 역량 강화에 역점을 둔다. 목적에 따른 글의 유형 영역에서는 평가형 발문·추론형 발문·복합형 발문의 비율을 조정해 학습자의 창의적 사고 역량과 지식정보처리 역량의 신장을 강화한다. The purpose of this paper is to review the objectives of writing education of Incheon National University, the basic theory of writing, and types of questions and will suggest alternatives. First, it will examine the objectives of writing education and the composition of writing materials. In order to establish the goals of college writing education, it is necessary to first take into consideration the detailed categories of core concepts related to writing and comprehensively consider core competencies or writing functions notified by the Ministry of Education. In the composition of writing materials, it is necessary to reconsider the proposition that “reading is writing”. Next, the writing materials at Incheon National University should be supplemented with a basic theory of writing. First, in order to cultivate an inexperienced learner as a skilled learner, writing descriptions must be restored. Second, formalist writing theory should be replaced with process-oriented writing and a writer"s cognitive process must be taught visually. Third, the system needs to improve the writing habits of any inexperienced person by replacing the writing process in the linear model to the recursive model. Finally, writing materials at Incheon National University need to establish a system of question types and arrange question types according to the contents of materials taught. In the basic theory section of writing, the ratio of understanding type questions to reconstruction type questions should be increased. And the ratio of applied and assessed questions should be reduced. In the composition section, the ratio of the evaluative questions to inferential questions should be adjusted so that the learner can extend his/her ability to speculate thoughout various aspects.

        인천과 나가사키의 음식문화 비교 분석

        The article is organized as follows.         자연문학과 탈(인)문학적 접근

        As academic disciplines, the humanities traditionally address themes that are detached from the society and social activities such as the human condition, ethicality, values and beliefs and employ text-oriented methods that are primarily analytical, critical, or speculative, distancing themselves not only from the empirical analysis of the social sciences on human society or social activities of social sciences but also from the empirical approaches of the natural sciences on natural phenomena. This has been especially true to literary studies. The deep attachment to the detached attitude and text analysis by literary studies has confined literary critics to the ivory tower, neglecting the social issues and responsibility and thus inviting isolation and criticism from outside. When it comes to an academic approach to ecology which has currently become one of the most important and impending themes and concerns to almost every academic discipline including literary studies, the traditional attitude and method of the humanities turns out to be incongruent. The eco prefix has three related references of the physical, the socio-political, and the scientific. In all literary genres, nature writing best deals with and addresses these references, and accordingly it has become a primary genre of interest to the studies of ecology-oriented literature, or ecocriticism. Unfortunately, ecocriticism still sticks to the humanities" traditional attitude and method. A careful examination of The Land of Little Rain by an American nature writer Mary Austin proves that this work on American western desert land addresses three aspects of the physical, the socio-political, and the scientific, and that therefore demands critics to approach from all these perspectives that still further invites direct and active participation and exploration of the real place.

        인천대학 교양영어 교육의 문제점 및 개선방향

        This article provides an investigation related to the problems associated to learning English within the faculty of liberal arts through the usage of the Lexile program at the University of Incheon. Students (n=410) were surveyed according to their level of satisfaction with their level of English education. According to the results, they have a negative perception about the lack of fairness in the Lexile program. Moreover, they wanted to learn more practical English through native instructors or methods of approaching the TOEIC test which can be used for future employment. The survey showed that 70.8% of students are dissatisfied with the school’s Lexile program and 77.1% of them voted in favor of having their lessons taught by native instructors. In addition, 65.2% of the students argued that the Lexile program should be eliminated. These results support the conclusion it is desirable for them learn to English by native instructors to improve their communicative competence. And they also argued that the learning grammar would be one of the more important aspects of language learning.

        역사 · 문화적 도시재생을 위한 건축자산제도의 활용 모색

        The purpose of this study is to examine the application to architecture assets for the purpose of historical and cultural urban regeneration. Architecture is an intrinsic part of urban history and identity but it has not been designated as cultural heritage. A typical example is of this system is to understand an example of modern architecture. Buildings which have not been designated as cultural heritage are subject to removal in the wake of housing redevelopment project. Modern architecture is designating through Using Promotion Architecture Assets Act modern architecture can be protected, so urban regeneration within an old inner-city area can take place. According to all sources of literature related to modern architecture and building resister, there are many examples of modern architecture that exist without designation as being protected in Incheon. Using the Promotion Architecture Assets Act, an open port, modern architecture can be protected in Dong-gu, Bupyeong-gu and this system can prevent any gentrification effects. To maximize this effect, continuous building-investigation-systems should be implemented and consultative group who evaluate and educate value of architecture assets should be organized.
