      • 배양 계배 근원세포의 분화에 미치는 신경아세포의 영향

        신경세포가 근세포의 분화에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 계배 척수 신경세포와 흉근 세포를 혼합배양하여 세포증식과 세포융합지수, 그리고 creatine phosphokinase(CPK)의 활성도를 측정하였다. 그 결과 세포의 증식은 신경세포에 의해 증가된 반면, 세포융합지수는 큰 변화가 없었다. 그리고 근원세포의 CPK 활성도도 신경세포의 존재에 의해 크게 증가하였다. 이러한 혼합배양에서 나타나는 여러가지 신경세포의 영향은 계배 뇌 추출물을 배양액에 첨가한 실험에서도 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 영향은 신경세포와 근세포의 직접적인 접촉을 통해서 나타나는 것이 아니고, 신경세포에 의해 합성 분비되는 수용성 물질이 근세포에 작용하여 나타나는 것으로 추측된다. To elucidate the effects of neurons on the muscle differentiation, chick embryonic pectoralis myoblasts were cultured with chick embryonic spinal cord neuroblasts and their number of total nuclei, fusion index, and creatine phosphokinase(CPK) activities were measured at various time of culture. As the results, the number of total nuclei and the number of nuclei in myotubes were increased by culturing with nerve cells. The fusion index, however, was not influenced significantly. And both the total and specific CPK activity of myoblasts were also trophically influenced by culturing with nerve cells. These neurotrophic effects that found in coculturesystem were also elicited by adding the embryonic brain extract into the culture medium.

      • r-알루미나의 퍼텐셜 에너지

        (110)면으로 이루어진 r-알루미나의 D'-층에 대한 점 전하 모형을 설정하고, 여든 여섯개의 원자를 포함하고 있는 단위세포에 multipole expansion method를 적용시켰다. 점 전하여 상대적 크기는 화학 양론적으로 할당하여 표면전하를 scale factor로 구하였다. 이 방법으로 구한 단위 세포와 단위 세포밖에서의 퍼텐셜은 L≤16에서 수렴하였다. 그리하여 격자내의 단위세포의 multipole moment와 퍼텐셜 계산에 필수적이 direction cosine을 쉽게 구할 수 있다. We have developed a point charge model of the D'-layer of the 110-surface of the r-alumina surface, and extend the multipole expansion method for a unit cell which includes eighty six atoms. The relative magnitude of the assigned point-charges are determined from stoichiometry, and in this case, the surface charge is determined up to a scale factor. By direct comparision againgst Coulomb's Law, the requisite multipole expansion are found to always converge for L≤16 for the unit cell of r-alumina and its neighbours. It is, thus, quite feasible to store the necessary multipole moments in tabular form, and retrieve them for combination with the direction cosines to determined the potential associated with the particular unit cell within lattice.

      • Tensor Products of c*-Algebras and Their Intersections

        C*-대수의 텐서곱의 교집합과 관련하여 새로운 조건들을 도입하고, 성질 S, 성질 C 및 C*-exactness 등과의 관계를 규명하였다. We introduce new conditions in relation to intersections of the minimal tensor pro-ducts of C*-algebras. Such conditions play roles of stepping stones between property S, property C and C*-exactness.

      • 巾制小考 : on the period of Yi Dynasty

        A piece of cloth covering the head called Kun(巾) had not had any original form. It has its special meaning of importance as primitive form of head-cover. In Yi Dynasty, several kinds of Kun(巾) had been worn according to their special usage. Such a variety was reasoned upon the import of Kun(巾) from China under the influence of Confucianism. Kun-Je(巾制) of Yi Dynasty has been observed as follows: 1. Classification by their usage. i Bang-Kun(方巾), Dong-Pa-Kwan(東坡巾), Chung-Ja-Kwan(程子巾), and Wa-Ryong-Kwan(臥龍巾) : These were worn by Confucianist and Men of high birth(士大夫) in private. ii Yoo-Kun(儒巾) : It was worn by Confusian students. iii Kul-Kun(屈巾), Hyo-Kun(孝巾) : These were worn by chief mourner and mourners iv Cha-Kun(茶巾), Chung-Kun(靑巾), Cho-Kun(조巾), Oh-Kun(烏巾), Chajuk-Doo Kun(紫的頭巾), Chorokju-Doo Kun(草綠紬頭巾) : These were worn by people of lower status in the pubilic office. 2. Analysis of Kun-Je(巾制) in Yi Dynasty. i Certain kinds were originated from Chinese Kun-Je. : These were used by Confucianist family and families of high birth, that the style and name has been changed slightly. Among them Chung-Ja-Kwan and Yoo-Kun has been developed into special form of Yi Dynasty diffterent from Chineses Kuns. ii A few kinds were originatedin Yi Dynasty. : These were worn by people of lower status in the pubilic office. The upper part of Kun has been coney shpe(꼬깔모양) and similar to their predecessor. They have several aspects related to the original coney Kwanmo(弁狀冠巾)of earlier times.

      • 無理回轉에 依한 C-代數 및 그 K-理論

        최근 Rieffel, Pimsner, Voiculescu 등에 의하여 발전된 無理回轉에代數와 그것의 K-理論 및 그 일반화를 검토한다. We review the C-algebras associated with irrational rotations and their K-theory, recontly developed by Rieffel, Pimsner and Voiculescu. Also, we briefly discuss several generalizations of the above results.
