This paper examined the ground characteristics of Seoul by using borehole information and by developing ground information database on the base of Geo-Seoul, and studied a method for applying the compiled database to GIS or for utilizing it as design constant. According to this study, the base rock head contour of Seoul is below 10~30 m from underground, the north area of Han River is mostly composed of granite and the depth is below 5 m~20 m from underground and the south area of Han river is mostly composed of gneiss and the depth is below 15~30 m from underground. The distribution of RQD was 5~90%, the north area of Han River is 35~90%, and the south area of Han River 5~65%. It was means that the rock mass of the south was severely fractured and in an ground water level, the north area of Han River was revealed to be 2~8 m from the ground surface and the south area to Han River to be 4~12 m.
Thermal Degradation Kinetics of DGEBA/MDA/PGE-AcAm/CTRN System by TG Analysis

Thermal degradation kinetics of epoxy resin system was investigated. Epoxy system was diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A(DGEBA)/4,4'-methylene dianiline(MDA)/phenyl glycidyl ether (PGE)-acetamide(AcAm)/carboxyl-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile copolymer(CTBN) system and thermogravimetry analysis(TGA) was used. To get kinetic parameter, TGA data were introduced to Freeman & Carroll equation. The activation energy and reaction order for DGEBA/MDA/PGE-AcAm/CTBN system were various according to the CTBN content and heating rate. The activation energy was ranged of 79.8~116.4 kj/mol and reaction order was ranged from 1.00 to 1.48.

In this paper, a method for the implementation of a circular interpolator is proposed to be used for a two-axes reference-pulse Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) system. An Algorithm is derived based on the half step discrimination method. The simulation results show that this circular interpolation algorithm is superior to those of existing interpolations - DDA, Danielsson's algorithm, and Four-pont algorithm in a sense of the performance criteria such as Peak error and RMS error.
영상 센서와 레이더 센서의 효과적인 융합 방법에 관한 연구

This paper describes a scheme of fusing image sensors and radar sensors. The peformance of an optimum fusion algorithm for a parallel configuration is analyzed. Then, an algorithm which fuses target attributes from multiple sensors is presented. The proposed scheme extracts salient features out of sensor data obtained from multi-spectral infrared sensors and a synthetic aperture radar. The detection of a target is based on a Bayes linear classifier that computes the distance between the fused attributes of a target and the pre-stored target signature data.

In general, cabled foot bridges are composed of upper or lower cables, hanger, grates, posts, and anchors. The characteristics of cabled foot bridges are similar to those of the suspension bridges in the path of load carrying. However, difference between characteristics of two models has been taken in natural modes: lateral mode in cabled foot bridges and vertical mode in suspension bridges. In order to determine the governing structural behaviors of cabled foot bridges, the elastic catenary cable element is used to analyze a cabled foot bridge in existence. From the calculated results, it is certified that the catenary cable element is of interesting finite element in analyzing a cabled foot bridges and is used to obtain a relevant responses of cabled foot bridges with a small numbers of catenary cable elements.
촉진실험에 의한 콘크리트 중의 철근부식 거동에 대한 연구

In reinforced concrete carbonation of concrete leads to activation of the reinforcement, and hence to initiation of corrosion. The objective of this study is to acquire the reinforcement corrosion rate according to carbonate. As a result of carbonation accelerating experiment with using effect of wet-dry and 15% concentration of CO2, the carbonation rate shows very distinct difference according to w/c ratio. OPC-40 estimated no carbonation depth, whereas OPC-60 estimated rapid the carbonation rate. The comparative analysis of the carbonation rate according to species of cement shows fastest FAC-20. Also, highly W/C ratio's concrete shows low half-cell potential value and fast corrosion rate. During period for 14 weeks, corrosion rate was not severe. So, It can be determined that only carbonation attack on concrete doesn't severly deteriorated except very poor qualitified concrete..

This paper proposes a new memory system called shuffle memory. The shuffle memory is an extension of transposition memory which has been widely used in 2-dimensional Discrete Cosine Transform and Discrete Fourier Transform. The shuffle memory receives MxN 2-D input array in row major order and provides MxN output array in column major order. The shuffle memory provides "read-then-write at the same address operation". In other words, an input array element is written at the same address an output element has been read. The shuffle memory is the first memory system that receives MxN inputs in row major order and provides MxN outputs in column order with the minimum amount of memory space.
