      • 觀光資源としての日本神話と韓國神話の硏究 : 祭りと神話

        일본 교토교통성의 『관광백서-평성(平成) 12년도(서기2000년) 판』에 의하면 일본의 지방 자치단체는 축제를 이용해서 지역의 새로운 이미지를 형성하여 이것을 계기로 삼아서 자기 고향에 대한 이해를 증진시키고 친근감과 고향에 대한 애착심을 형성하게되는 효과를 나타내고 있다. 이상의 지적을 고려하면 관광자원으로서의 축제 및 신화에 대한 연구의 필요성이 나타나고 있다고 생각한다.. 본 논문에서는 신화와 의례, 축제와의 관계에 대해서 고찰한 후 일본의 축제와 신화 그리고 한국의 축제와 신화에 대해서 고찰하였다. 신화와 의례와의 관계에 있어서 인류학자들은 의례 쪽을 보다 중요시하고 있는데 비해서, 신화학자들은 신화 쪽을 보다 중요시하고 있다. 신화와 의례를 비교하면 신화는 보다 내면적으로 의례는 보다 외면적이라고 말할 수 있다. 일본의 축제에 관해서는 가구라(神樂)를 중심으로 가구라의 탄생, 이와토신화(天岩戶神話)와 진혼의례, 가구라의 제상(諸相), 지방 전파 등의 각 면에서 고찰해 보았다. 天岩戶神話는 태양이 쇠퇴하는 시기에 행하는 진혼제의 내용인 태양신 아마테라스(天照大神)의 「동굴 숨기」는 「일식」이라는 상징적 표현이라는 관점에서 고찰했다. 한국에서의 동제에 관해서는 동해안 별신굿과 경상북도 안동군 풍천면 하회동에 전승하는 하회 별신굿을 중심으로 고찰했다. 여기서 한국과 일본의 축제의 기본구조를 분석한 결과 축제의 기본구조는 한국과 일본간에는 큰 차이가 없고 분류하는 방법에 차이가 있을 뿐이었다. 그러나 내용 면에서는 큰 차이가 있었다. 일본의 본의(本儀)에서는 신과의 관계되는 것이 전체를 차지하는데 반하여 한국의 본의에서는 인간세상의 일이 주제가 되어 있고 단지 성수(聖獸)를 통하여 신에 대하여 암시하고 있을 뿐이다. 이와 같은 관광자원으로서의 축제와 신화에 대한 한일간의 비교를 통하여 한국의 신화를 보다 깊이 연구해야할 필요성을 절실히 느꼈지만 본 논문에서는 충분히 행하지 못했다. 앞으로 이 부분에 있어 활발한 연구가 진행되었으면 하는 바램이다.

      • 회계변수에 기초한 관광기업 투자성과에 관한 연구

        Empirical research in finance over the past two decades has uncovered three major findings with respect to cross-sectional return predictability : reversal at short horizon, momentum at intermediate horizon, and reversal at long horizon. The intermediate horizon momentum studies show that past winners outperform past losers over the next three to six month period. The short and long horizon reversal studies show that past winners underperform past losers over the next one to three month period and over the next one to five years. This article examines whether a simple accounting-based fundamental analysis strategy, when applied to a broad portfolio of past performance or expected performance, can shift the distribution of return earned by an inverstor of Tourism corporate in Korean stock market. In this article, past performance is measured using information on past performance in sales. earnings, cashflows, and expected future performance is measured by multiples of price to current earnings and cashflows. To analyze performance of investment strategy based on one-accounting variable, we form winner minus loser self-financing momentum investment strategies in individual stocks by ranking stocks based on their prior 3. 6, 9, 12-month past performance or expected performance and forming a zero-cost portfolio of highest past 3. 6, 9, 12-month performance funded by shorting a portfolio of low past performance stocks. We then hold these positions over the next 3. 6, 9, 12-month. And we applied same methodology to investment strategy based on double-accounting variable.

      • 외래관광객에 의한 관광소비의 경제적 효과 : 산업연관분석을 중심으로

        The purpose of this paper is to examine the economic effect of tourism industry with special emphasis put on input-output analysis and learn to know how much foreign tourists' spending is affecting overall industry sector. In order to do this, input-output analysis table of the year 1995, which is published by The Bank of Korea, is used as a basic data and again 402 sections of domestic transaction table are combined into 18 sectors including tourism industry. 14 sectors such as retailing, restaurant and lodging business are included as a tourism industry, which is difficult to classify as an independent industry. Economic effect of tourism, which is calculated with foreign tourists' expenditure in Korea is as follows ; when each foreign tourist spends one million Won(Korean currency unit) production effect amounts to 1,607,700 Won, income effect 413,500 Won and value-added effect 887,800 Won in consequence. This means that the tourism industry can exercise a positive influence on national economy if it is well managed in relation with other industry sectors because of its low import effect and high income and value-added effect.

      • 지방정부 관광정책결정과정의 통합적 시스템 구축에 관한 연구 : 경주시를 대상으로

        The sudden change in the circumstances surrounding tourism policies requires a concentration from policy-making to policy-execution. Regional characteristics, along with the effectiveness of strategic tourism policies with in a framework of regional tourism administration, are becoming more conspicuous. The tourism policy decision process in local governments aiming towards a common regional tourism goal must avoid the waste of time restructure the tourism organization system through integration or rearrangement. Kyongju City must always apply in a flexible manner most of the regional characteristics and understand clearly the state of the tourism system. From this starting point, the city must construct a systematic framework for multilateral cooperation founded on mutual relations and constant readjustment with each other.

      • 관광지 폐기물 발생에 관한 연구 : 경주를 중심으로

        This study tried to find the characteristics of the waste occurrences in Kyongju Resorts. The author had a field survey in the three tourism resources(a temple, a theme park, and a museum) in Kyongju city. On the basis of the data obtained from the field survey, this paper analyzed the differences of the waste quantity and the variety of problems of waste occurrences in the three tourism resources in Kyongju city. Also, the author presented the solutions for them. The conclusion is as follows : 1. According to the characteristics of tourism resources, there are differences of the waste quantity. 2. The waste quantities of the temple and the museum are not influenced by the hours in a day, but the waste quantity of the theme park is influenced strongly by it. 3. The theme park makes a lot of food waste, but the temple and the museum make recycling wastes. But, in this study, the author would like to indicate his weakness of the enough explanation for the physical features of the waste and the theoretical backgrounds for waste occurrences.

      • 관광기업문화 패러다임의 신구상 : 관광기업 종사원을 중심으로

        Purpose This paper examines scale development for the paradigm for organizational culture of tourist firms. According to past studies, acculturation and assimilation concepts have been considered important variables to explain cultural context. Crossing the two concept model, which produces a paradigm of organization culture, is assumed better in finding the relation of the both. To gain the goal, this paper intends to develop some scales to measure organization culture adaptation type by survey research. The original instrument comprises 32 items, each 8 items of which are allocated to synthesist, conformist, separatist and traditionalist, respectively. responses were rated on 5 point Likert scale of (1) Strongly disagree (2) Disagree (3) Neutral (4) Agree (5) Strongly agree. The typology of organization culture adaptation can be modified to parallel minorities entering the major business culture by considering both acculturation and adding assimilation as a variable. A four fold classification emerges where each cell is considered to be an option for minorities in business. Study result is as follows : The reliability for 4 types of the adaptation was assessed using coefficient alpha for the synthesist scale was computed to be .6498(n=132). The conformist scale produced a coefficient alpha of .6993(n=132). The separatist scale showed a coefficient alpha of .7489(n=132). Finally the traditionalist scale brought in .7674(n=132) of coefficient alpha. These results suggest that the scales of the classified 4 types have adequate internal consistency reliability. To determine construct validity, the acculturation and assimilation scales of the similar study were correlated with previously validated measures of (1) WAMS (2) job satisfaction (3) job involvement (4) propensity of leave. T-test was also undertaken to ensure no bias in the results of the study. The scales to measure organizational culture level appear to possess reliability and empirical validity as assessed through the test. In conclusion the paper expects that the scales developed here would apply to any kind of organization including tourist firms.
