The Study of philosophy in Joo-yok-son-hea(周易禪解)CHOI, il-beom*Joo-yok-son-hea(周易禪解) is literary work of Wooik-jiwook(藕益智旭) who is one of the four in the end of Myoung(明) Dynasty in China. Wooik-jiwook(藕益智旭) was not only the high priests but also the priest who deeply influenced modern Chinese Buddhism. Taeho(太虛), Inguang(印光), Hongil(弘一), the high priests in the early Republic of China history, admired Wooik-jiwook(藕益智旭). Therefore, Wooik-jiwook(藕益智旭) is very important person to understand the Buddhism of the early Republic of China. His conception broadly covers many different sects of Buddhism, Confucianism and Roman Catholicism. Especially, he was very interested in Confucianism and, besides writing Joo-yok-son-hea(周易禪解), he wrote Saso-wooik-he(四書藕益解), which is annotation of the Four Books of Ancient China. This fact showed that he was an expert for both Buddhism and Confucianism. Therefore, his conception has very important meaning to understand not only Buddhism of the end of Myoung Dynasty in China but also the relation between Buddhism and Confucianism. Joo-yok-son-hea is basically an annotation of the Yi-king(周易) from the view point of Buddhism. Even though the title is Joo-yok-son-hea, 'Son-hae"
