        To determine the source location of acoustic emission in rock, the least square method has been used until lately but it needs much time and efforts. In this study, neural network system is applied to above model instead of least square method. This system has twenty seven input processing elements and three output processing element. The source locations calculated by above two methods are similarly concordant. The new method using neural network system is relatively simple and easy for calculating source location compared with traditional method.

      • 하수처리장 운영의 최적화를 위한 ASM, PHOENICS의 적용

        This study was implemented to find an optimal model for wastewater treatment processes using PHOENICS(Parabolic. hyperbolic or Elliptic Numerical Integration Code Series) and ASM(Activated Sludge Model). PHOENICS is a general software based upon the laws of physics and chemistry which govern the motion of fluids. the stresses and strains in solids. heat flow, diffusion, and chemical reaction. The wastewater flow and removal efficiency of particle in two phase system of a grit chamber in wastewater treatment plant were analyzed to inquire the predictive aspect of the operational model. ASM was developed for a biokinetic model based upon material balance in complex activated sludge system. which can demonstrate dynamic and spatial behavior of biological treatment system. This model was applied to aeration tank and settling chamber in Choonchun city, and the modeling result shows dynamic transport in aeration tank. PHOENICS and ASM could be contributed for the optimal operation of wastewater treatment plant.

      • 지하수관리시스템 구축을 위한 전산모형과 지리정보시스템의 통합

        GIS is linked with Numerical Model(PM5) for the effective conservation and management of groundwater resources. All the relevant system was systematically constructed to analyze the field status by means of precise understanding of the surface and subsurface environment and by accumulating large amounts data and attribute data into developed system. The necessity of integrated management of the groundwater information was demonstrated and the general direction of the construction of groundwater management system was suggested. The proposed system will guide a method for the rational decisions of groundwater development via the establishment of the appropriate database management and accurate prediction of future change.

      • 무작위변량을 이용한 강우빈도분석시 내외삽오차에 관한 연구

        In the study rainfall frequency analysis attempted the many specific property data record duration it is differance from occur to error-term and probability distribution of concern manifest. Error-term analysis of method are fact sample data using method in other hand it is not appear to be fault that sample data of number to be small random variates. Therefore, day-rainfall data to randomicity consider of this sample data to the Monte Carlo method by randomize after data recode duration of form was choice method which compared an assumed maternal distribution from splitting frequency analysis consequence. In the conclusion, frequency analysis of chuncheon region rainfall appeared small RMSE to the Gamma Ⅱ distribution. In the rainfall frequency analysis estimate RMSE using random variates great transform, RMSE is appear that return period increasing little by little RMSE increased and data number increasing to RMSE decreasing.

      • 소수성 알루미나막의 증기투과에 의한 에탄올의 분리

        The surface of porous alumina membrane was modified with silane coupling agent in order to enhance hydrophobicity. The contact angle of water to the surface-modified alumina membrane was greater than 90˚. The surface-modified membrane was tested in vapor permeation for the concentration of aqueous ethanol.With the increase of ethanol concentration in the feed, permeation flux increased due to the greater affinity of ethanol with surface-modified alumina membrane than that of water. The experimental results showed that the permeation rate of surface-modified alumina membrane was 15~1000 times greater than that of polymer membranes.

      • 스프링백 특성에 영향을 미치는 수치변수의 분석을 위한 다구치 실험계획법의 응용

        It is desirable but difficult to predict springback quantitatively and accurately for successful tool and process design in sheet stamping operations. The result of springback analysis by the finite element method (FEM) is sensitively influenced by numerical factors such as blank element size, number of integration points, punch velocity, contact algorithm, etc. In the present work, a parametric study by Taguchi method is performed in order to evaluate the influence of numerical factors which gives the best approximation to experimental data. Since springback is determined by the residual stress after forming process, it is important to evaluate stress distribution accurately. The oscillation in the time history curve of stress obtained by the dynamic-explicit finite element variability study is also carried out in this study in order to assess the stability of implicit springback analysis starting from the stress solution by explicit forming simulation. The U-draw bending process, one of the NUMISHEET '93 benchmark problems, is adopted as an application model because it is most popular one for evaluation the springback characteristic.

      • Al_2TiO_5-점토 복합체를 이용한 원적외선방사재질의 개발

        Sintered Al_2TiO_5 has a very low thermal expansion and infrared radiative selectively emitting large amounts of far infrared rays. However, it is week in mechanical strength. Spectral infrared emittance, thermal expansion coefficient, and mechanical strength of Al_2TiO_5-clay composites were studied to develop a material for far infrared radiators. The composites containing 10∼50 mass% Jungsan clay had high emittance in the range of 2,000∼200cm-1. The bending strength of the Al_2TiO_5-clay composites increased with increasing clay content. The Al_2TiO_5-clay composites with a clay content of 50mass% and heat-treated at 1,200℃ had a large strength for infrared radiators ; 86MPa. The average linear thermal expansion coefficient from 200∼1,000℃ of the 50mass% Jungsan clay containing composited heat-treated at 1,200℃ was lower than 3.87X10-6/℃.

      • Beam形 Load Cell의 FEM Simulation과 그 電氣的特性

        In this paper, we simulate and calculate the stress and output voltage of the beam structure load cells by using FEM as varing physical structure parameters and loading positions. It is proved that stress enhance as the increase of the notch pitch and radius of the load cell, but decrease as the increase of the notch thickness and beam width. The results are good matched for basic formulas of the single fixed beam, and are verified our simulation is correct. Also, it is found that the stress characteristics of the load cell is varied according to loading positions with structure parameters, and caculated output voltage of the load cell approximate to those of the real manufactured ones. As a result, this study will offer efficient design and analysis technique for making special and variety capacity of load cells.

      • 석회암 지역의 기반암 및 경계면 조사를 위한 지구물리 탐사법의 적용

        In 1970's, the analysis of shallow substructure was the interests of geological engineering and environmental problems. And seismic refraction method was applied to detect those structures. From 1980's, digital electric industry is rapidly developed and high resolution prospecting equipment is supplied. And seismic reflection method is applied to achieve various data gathering and analysis. In this study, geophysical prospecting method is applied to calculate the basic data of limestone yield production. Seismic shallow reflection method is used to detect the depth of bedrock and electrical resistivity method is used to detect of limestone layer boundary.
