        전북대학교내에 계통분류학 특성화 기초과학연구소가 생긴 것은 계통분류학자로서 무척 반갑고 다행으로 생각한다. 오히려 늦은 감은 있으나 침체된 분야에 활력을 불어 넣을 역할에 대하여 자못 기대가 크다. 오늘 논의하고자 하는 제목은[계통분류학의 최신동향과 전망]인데, 너무 머리가 거창하여 말하는 사람에 따라서는 전혀 다른 얘기가 될 수 있는, 말하자면 장님이 코끼리 더듬는 식의 얘기밖에는 안될 것 같아 약간의 두려움이 앞선다. 그러나 제 나름대로 요즈음 논의되는 hot topics 몇 개를 골라 애기하는 것이 곧 동향이 될 것 같아 4가지를 준비했다. 즉 ① taxonomic character의 발굴과 taxonomic evidence의 합성, ② macromolecules의 이용, ③ numerical taxonomy와 computer의 이용, ④ data-processing system의 정립이 그것이다.

      • 甲殼類의 分類學

        甲殼類(Crustacea)는 절지동물의 한 綱 또는 上綱인데, 이것은 무척추동물 중에서 가장 크고 또, 가장 다양한 무리들 중의 하나이다. 많은 종류의 새우류ㆍ게류가 경제적으로 중요하다는 것이 옛날부터 인식되어 왔고, 육수학자들은 작은 갑각류의 무리들이 호수나 계류의 생태계에 공헌하는 바가 크다는 것을 인색해 왔으며, 어업 생물학자들은 많은 종류의 부유성 갑각류가 어류의 먹이사슬에 중요한 구실을 한다는 것을 알게 되었다. 최근에는 저서생물 생물학자들과 생태학자들은 광범위한 저서성 갑각류가 군집 내부의 영양 단계와 에너지 순환에 절대 필요한 구실을 다하고 있다는 것을 발견해 왔다. 이렇게 갑각류는 매우 중요한 분류군이라고 할 수 있다.

      • 韓國産 모래무지亞科 魚類 水溶性 筋蛋白質의 電機泳動像

        Muscle proteins of the Korean gudgeon of the subfamily Gobioninae were investigated by the polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis to determine the relationships among the species and genera studied. The number of bands were varied between 8∼13, and the mobiltiy and density or width of staining were appeared to be specificity. Judging from the genera Pseudorasbora and Puntungia are closely related each other, but Gnathopogon and Squalidus which were previously known to be cospecific genus were conspicuously difference between them. The muscle protein electrophoretic patterns was provided to be confirmed the phyletic groups adopted for the subfamily Gobioninae by Banarescu and Nalbant in 1973.

      • 韓國産 자작나무科의 花粉分類學的 硏究

        The pollen grains of the Korean Betulaceae including 15 species and 4 varieties of 5 genera, were examined to describe the taxonomic characters and to find the phylogenetic position of the family and the inter- and intrageneric as well as the inter- and intraspecific relationships. The possession of 3-6-pororate apertures suggested that the Betulaceae is advanced and has been derived rather from the ancestor of the tricolporate Fagaceae than from the ancestor of the tricolpate Hammamelidaceae. Pollen morphology supported the familial division into Section Betuleae and Coryleae, i. e. vestibula are prominently developed in the former while not in the latter In Section Betuleae, because of the characteristic arcus as well as the high number of pores. Alnus was regarded to be more advanced than Betula. In Section Coryleae, Corylus with inconspicuously developed vestibulum was thought to be the most primative in the family as well. The Carpinus pollen with a higher pore number and larger pollen size suggested to be more advanced than the Ostrya pollen. In Alnus, the mean pore number of the hirsuta group (4.28) was significantly higher than that of the japonica group (4.80). In betula, Series Albae had smaller pollen grains (26.03×20.68㎛) than the Costatae (34.60×28.67㎛). In Corylus, the heterophylla group and the sieboldiana group showed the almost identical pollen morphology. In Carpinus, the tschonoskii group possessed 4 of 5 pores, whereas the cordata 3 pores. The Ostrya pollen exhibited a good similarity with that of C. cordata.

      • 톡톡이 Tomocerus kinoshitai(Collembola)의 精子形成過程에서의 染色體週期 및 唾腺染色體에 關한 硏究

        Cytological investigations were performed to clarify the karyotype of the somatic cells and behavior of the spermatogonial chromosomes in the spermatogenesis of Tomocerus kinoshitai, Collembola. Among the specimens used in this study, those kept in constant room temperature(25±1℃) during winter were tested from mid November to the next May, and for cytological preparations the routin aceto-orcein and feulgen methods were employed. Tomocerus kinoshitai had a hexaploid germ-line in the male gonads, and its karyotype of both male and female was composed of 12 chromosomes in each somatic cells ; however, their large nuclei exhibited abundant chromatin diffusions, which were probably resulted from polyploidy.

        Recently, the wide use of computers, the refiniment of methods for chromosomal analyses, and new techniques for electrophoretic studies have enabled systematists to interpret evolution through different lines of research, i. e., phenetic, chromosomal, and molecular. Computer applicat'ons are closely related to the methods of 'numerical taxonomy, and the basic tenets of 'numerical taxonomy' are; (1) acceptance of equal weightings for each character; and (2) use of resemblance rather than key characters to compare taxa (Sneath and Sokal, 1962).

      • 韓國産 裸予植物에 대한 系統分類學的 硏究 : 소나무科의 木村解剖 Wood Anatomy of the Pinaceae

        Anatomical features and dimension of tracheid and ray parenchyma of secondry xylem in the trunk of the family Pinaceae including 6 genera and 21 species and 1 variety grown in Korea were studied systematically. ⑴ Among species or genera of the family studied, diagnosis by the dimension of tracheid is usually indistinct but sometimes distinct and diagnosis by the height of ray is more or less distinct. ⑵ The genus Abies is distinguished from other genera studied by the absence of distinct ray tracheid. In the genus, resin canal is not observed, bordered pit on the axial tracheid is arranged in 1-2 rows, scalloped torus margin is rarely observed, many simple pits and nodular thickening are distributed on the vertical wall of ray cells, and the type of cross-field pitting is taxodioid. ⑶ The genus T suga differs from the genus Cedrus by the presence of smooth torus margin on the axial tracheid, and from the genus Abies by the presence of ray tracheid. The type of cross-field pitting is mainly piceoid but often taxodioid. ⑷ The genus Cedrus has the most clear scalloping of the tours margin of the bordered pit. In this genus, resin canl is absent, ray tracheid is present, and the cross-field pitting is piceoid, but sometime taxodioid. ⑸ The genus Larix has resin canal and has cupressoid or piceoid cross-field pitting. Bordered pit of the axial tracheid is arranged in 1-2 rows. Horizontal wall thickening of ray tracheid is smooth in it. ⑹ The genus Picea is distinct from the other genera studied on account of possessing of distinct piceoid cross-field pitting. The occurrence of smooth or minute dentaions on the ray tracheid walls is frequently observable. Bordered pit on the axial tracheid wall is arranged in one row. Thick walled resin canal is present. ⑺ The genus Pinus is readily distinguishable from all other genera by the presence of resin canal with thin walled epithelial cells. The genus is subdivided into the subgenus Strobus by the presence of smooth wall of ray tracheid and into the subgenus Eupitis by the presence of dentate wall of ray tracheid.

        Mites were isolated from house dust samples collected from various localities in Korea during the period of 1981 to 1983. The identified mites were classified into 22 species belonging to 12 families, 4 suborders, of which 4 species as follows are newly recorded in Korea. 1. Thyreophagus entomophagus (Laboulbene, 1852) : Family Acaridae 2. Calvolia domicola Oshima, 1980 : Family Saproglyphidae 3. Cosmochthonius reticulatus Grandjean, 1947 : Family Cosmochthoniidae 4. Haplochthonius simplex Willmannm, 1930 : Family Haplochthoniidae

      • 中高生 및 敎師의 性意識構造에 關한 硏究 : 全北地方을 中心으로 Focused on the Jeonbug

        For understanding the real state of sex education of the Middle and high school and consciousness of sex of the Middle and high school students, The purpose of this study is to acquire the data for the sex education. For the purpose, the study was carried out to the choice methode and open or free response questionaire. The subjects are 4,815 middle school boys and girls, 3,152 high school boys and girls, 254 teachers in urban area and 3,579 middle school boys and girls, 3,124 high school boys and girls, 235 teachers in rural area in Jeonbug. I come to the conclusion as following, they had the knowledges of contraception, pregnancy, artifical abortion, and venereal diseases but sexual intercourse and petting and asserted necessity of the sex education for students at the curriculum of school.

      • 韓國産 두배자루마디개미 亞科의 分類學的 硏究

        Twelve genera, seventeen species under the Subfamily Myrmicinae were formerly reported in Korea. Among these, two species Pheidole fervida and Monomorium minutum, were collected only in north Korea, and collected localities of three species which Teranishi reported were not certain. After examining all of the species preserved at the Korean Entomological Institute of korea University and collected in the field of the South Korea from March, 1981 to March, 1982, 9 genera 13 species have been reviewed and the following unrecorded 2 species, Crematogasser laboriosa var, matsumurai Foreland Myrmica kurokii Forel are added to the fauna of Subfamily Myrmicinae of Korea.
