A case of a 46-year-old Korean male with post-stroke insomnia that induced by intracranial hemorrhage was presented. He was treated with Transcutaneous electric acupoint stimulation (TEAS) at BL62 and KI6 once per a day for 17 days. We recorded the patient's sleep time and time of asleep, and used PSQI-K to assess severity of patient's insomnia symptom. After using TEAS, there was improvement in patient's insomnia severity and the time of sleep. From the result of this case, electrical stimulation at acupoint can may be effective in treating post-stroke insomnia.

Two new phenolic constituents (4 and 6), together with four known constituents, methyl ferulate (1), eugenyl-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (2), apigenin-7-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (3), and (E)-resveratrol-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (5) were isolated from the MeOH extract of the aerial part sof Humulus japonicus. The structures of the new compounds were determined by spectroscopic methods to be divarin-3-O-${\beta}$-glucopyranoside (4), and lariciresinol-9-O-${\beta}$-xylopyranoside (6). Compounds 1 and 3 exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against two human cancer cell lines (SK-OV-3 and HCT15) with $ED_{50}$ values ranging from 8.84 to $8.79{\mu}M$.

To develop a clinical practice guideline for vaccination in patients with autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic disease (AIIRD), the Korean College of Rheumatology and the Korean Society of Infectious Diseases developed a clinical practice guideline according to the clinical practice guideline development manual. Since vaccination is unlikely to cause AIIRD or worsen disease activities, required vaccinations are recommended. Once patients are diagnosed with AIIRD, treatment strategies should be established and, at the same time, monitor their vaccination history. It is recommended to administer vaccines when the disease enters the stabilized stage. Administering live attenuated vaccines in patients with AIIRD who are taking immunosuppressants should be avoided. Vaccination should be considered in patients with AIIRD, prior to initiating immunosuppressants. It is recommended to administer influenza, Streptococcus pneumoniae, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, herpes zoster, measles-mumps-rubella virus, human papillomavirus, and tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis vaccines in patients with AIIRD; such patients who planned to travel are generally recommended to be vaccinated at the recommended vaccine level of healthy adults. Those who live in a household with patients with AIIRD and their caregivers should also be vaccinated at levels that are generally recommended for healthy adults.

<P>Upgrading of bio-oil through catalytic hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) reaction was investigated for guaiacol as a model compound. A batch reactor was used for the reaction condition of 40 bar and 250 degrees C. The target product was cyclohexane. Pt/Al-SBA-15 with the Si/Al ratios of 20, 40, and 80 and Pt/HZSM-5 were used as the catalyst. The SBA-15 catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction analysis, and temperature programmed desorption of ammonia. The order of cyclohexane yield was Pt/Al-SBA-15 (Si/Al = 20) > Pt/Al-SBA-15(40) > Pt/Al-SBA-15 (80), indicating that the quantity of acid sites plays an important role in the HDO reaction. On the other hand, Pt/HZSM-5 led to a very low cyclohexane yield, in spite of its abundant strong acid sites, due to its small pore size.</P>
