        연구논문 : 담양 의암서원(義巖書院)의 설립, 사액 그리고 철폐

        유희춘을 모시는 三川祠는 담양의 양반사림 58명이 앞장서고, 전라도 양반사림의 호응과 지방관들의 도움을 얻어 1610년경에 완성되었다. 삼천사는 1630년경에 향교 근처로 옮기고 白川祠라 이름을 바꾸었다. 옮긴 이유는 유희춘이 文節이라는 시호를 받은 것과 관련 있어 보인다. 1668년에 담양 양반사림들이 사액을 받고자 상소문을 제출하여, 1669년에 「義巖」이라는 사액 이름을 받았다. 의암서원은 사액을 받은 뒤 나라로부터 여러 가지 혜택을 받았다. 제례에 쓸 祭需와 각종 잡물을 관아로부터 지급 받았다. 토지 3결을 면세받았고, 노비도 한때 100여명 이상을 소유하였다. 액외원생(정액 이외의 원생)을 수령으로부터 허락을 받기도 하였다. 특히 관에서 보태준 식리전은 재정의 큰 비중을 차지하였다. 19세기에 들어와서는 서원이 문중서원화되는 경향을 보이는데, 유희춘 후손들이 원임을 담당하고 의암서원 운영에 깊이 간여하였다. 의암서원에서는 경제적 어려움을 타개하기 위하여 관에 적극적으로 밀착하였다. 수령에게 원장을 맡기고, 19세기에 들어서면 경원장제를 채택하였다. 그리고 이들의 후원을 얻어 많은 건물들을 수리하고 건립할 수 있었다. 19세기에 이르면 대부분의 서원은 교육기능은 제대로 발휘되지 못하고 있었다. 의암서원도 마찬가지였다. 대원군의 서원 철폐로 의암서원도 1871년에 철폐되었다. 호남의 유생들은 1884년에 유희춘의 문묘 배향을 요청하는 상소를 하였으나 뜻을 이루지는 못하였다. Samchonsa enshrined Yu Hee-chun was established by 58 Confucian scholars of Damyang who initiated the idea, being responded by Yangban Sarim of Jeolla Province. It moved next to Hyanggyo by the year of 1630 and named it Paekchonsa. Its movement resulted from Yu Hee-chun`s receiving his posthumous epithet(Munjeol)Yangban Sarim submitted public appeals to receive charter and as a result, they acquired EuAhm in 1669. Since then EuAhm Seowon got several kinds of benefits. The economic foundations of EuAhm Seowon were fields, serfs, extra students, wonbo and duty free village. Especially Shickrigeon that was added by public office formed a great part. Since the opening of 19th century, the descendants of Yu Hee-chun took the role of wonim and were deeply involved with its management. EuAhm Seowon tried to be close to a local authority to resolve financial difficulty. They entrusted the position of Wonchang to a chief magistrate and chose implementing Gyeongwonjang system. With their support, they could build and maintain more buildings. By the turn of 19th century, most of seowon could not perform its educational fundction. EuAhm Seowon was in the same situation. In line with Daewongun ordered the close of seowon EuAhm Seowon was closed down in 1871. Yangban yusaeng of honam Province filed an appeal to ask a Confucian shrine of Yu, Hee-chun, but could not fulfill their will.

        창조적 발상에 의한 이영희 작품분석 및 한국적 디자인 개발

        With the spread of K-Culture, K-fashion is also gaining attention as an important cultural contents. An in-depth understanding of designer Lee Young-hee"s works, which embody the characteristics of traditional Korean dress, can be used as an important starting point for the development of K-fashion design. Previous researches almost analyzed the aesthetic characteristics of Lee Young-hee's works. However, this study systematically analyzes Lee Young-hee's Hanbok applicated designs by using the Checklist method, and presents the process of Creative-idea-generating applicable to design development. This theoretical study investigates the theory of Creative-ideagenerating. The Checklist method and Form analysis method were chosen to derive ideas quickly and easily. We analyzed Lee Young-hee's works by the Checklist method and used sequentially the Checklist method and the Form analysis for the design development. For this study, selected 105 works from 1993 to 2016-17 F/W collections, focusing on Lee Young-hee's Hanbok applicated style from her Paris, New York, and Seoul collections. As an empirical study, with the analysis results as a reference, extracted the shape elements of women"s Hanbok Jeogori, and they were transformed into women"s summer casual blouses by the Checklist method. The twenty four pieces were presented as first design. The secondary, we combined the primary designs with the Form analysis method, and present four schemas with the combination table. In an era where cultural originality and global universality are important, it is meaningful to develop K-fashion design that extracts and changes the unique shape of Hanbok by Creative-idea-generating.

        한국인 산모에서 임신중기 양수내 alpha-fetoprotein치의 정상 범위

Methods: Amniotic fluid a-fetoprotein(AFAFP) levels were measured by specific radioimmunoassay(RIA) in midtrimester pregnant women for various indications of amniocentesis from May 1992 to July 199 at Seoul National University Hospital. Normal ranges were obtained from 640 singleton pregnancies in which neonatal outcomes were normal. Results: Median values of AFAFP in Korean pregnant women were 13,250ng/mL, 12,900ng/mL, 11,150ng/ml, 9,430ng/mL, 8,019ng/mL, 6,800ng/mL, 5,850ng/mL, 5,750ng/mL, 5,210ng/mL, 3,420ng/mL at 15 week , 16 week, 17 week, 18week, 19week, 20 week, 21 week, 22 week, 23 week, 24 week, respectively. Conclustion: This determination of the median values and the normal range of AFAFP level by each gestational week in uncomplicated Korean women could be used reference values for prenatal diagnosis of various disorders like open neural tube defect.

      • Analysis of Historical Documents from a Viewpoint of Paper Science

        Restoration of historical documents and arts has become important to inherit cultural properties. Most of historical documents were recorded on paper. Therefore, restoration of ancient papers is demanded and techniques for this purpose must be developed and sophisticated. In our study, several nondestructive methods for analyzing ancient paper have been developed. Image analysis using fast Fourier transform with suitable modifications was applied to optical micrographs of traditionally-handmade Korean and Japanese papers. This analysis determines the angle and anisotropy of fiber orientation of paper surfaces. Fiber orientation of traditionally-handmade Korean and Japanese papers was found to show their own characteristics in accordance with the motion of a papermaking screen made of bamboo splints. Consequently, the information on fiber orientation was found to be possible to distinguish the flow-sheet forming typical of Japanese paper and still- sheet forming typical of Korean paper. Moreover, the anisotropy was always higher for the screen side than for the top side, thus meaning that surface fiber orientation is possible to distinguish the two sides of paper of which papermaking history is unknown. An application of this technique to actual historical documents evidenced that wrapping papers were used as envelops with a lateral side up, namely, after rotating 90 degrees. A variety of cultural habits in writing letters was revealed by discrimination of the two sides.

        2-Aminothiazolo[5,4-b]pyridines and 2-aminobenzoxazoles have been synthesized from 2-hydroxy-3-thioureidopyridine and 2-hydroxy-3-thioureidobenzene respectively via acid catalyzed cyclization, which were prepared by the reaction of isothiocyanates with 2-hydroxy-3-aminopyridine or 2-aminophenol, The hydroxyl group of N-(2-hydroxy-5-phenyl)- N'-phenyl thiourea reacted as nucleophile to thioureido carbon to give 2-aminobenzoxazoles, whereas that of N-(2-hydroxypyridino)-N'-Phenylthiourea was reacted as leaving group upon nuclephillic sulfur of thiourea group in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid or phosphoric acid.

        Synthesis and Reactivity of a Mononuclear Manganese(II) Complex Having Pseudo-Seven Coordination Environment

        Utilizing a planar five coordinating N3S2 ligand, 2,6-bis(2-methylthiophenyliminomethyl)pyridine, a pseudo 7-coordinated manganese(II) complex with two labile triflate anions in the axial positions was synthesized. The reaction of the manganese(II) complex with an oxidant, iodosylbenzene, produced a metastable high-valent manganese(IV)-oxo species at 0 ${^{\circ}C}$. The high-valent Mn(IV)-oxo intermediate was characterized with a UV-vis spectrophotometer and an electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy. Reactivity studies of the Mn(IV)=O species revealed that the intermediate is capable of oxygenating $PPh_3$ and N-dealkylating N,N-dimethyl-toludine.

        Investigation of Symptomatic Unstable Changes of Non-Fused Component in the Mixed-Type Cervical Ossifcation of Posterior Longitudinal Ligament Using Dynamic Magnetic Resonance Imaging: A Case Report

        A 43-year-old man was transferred to our hospital with recurring myelopathic symptoms after previous anterior and posterior surgical decompressions for mixed-type cervical ossifcation of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL). Conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a preserved cervical curve and the achievement of successful decompression after the previous surgeries. The patient's symptoms were aggravated when he was in the extended neck posture. Dynamic MRI performed with the patient in an extended neck position revealed cord compression by OPLL from C3 to C4with newly developed retrolisthesis of the C4-5 segment. We recommend the use of dynamic MRI to investigate motion-dependent cord compression caused by instability of the non-fused OPLL component

        Electrochemical Degradation of Phenol and 2-Chlorophenol Using Pt/Ti and Boron-Doped Diamond Electrodes

        To test the efficiency of the BDD electrode for complete mineralization of organic wastewater, phenol and 2-chlorophenol (2-CP) were treated electrochemically with both an active Pt/Ti electrode and a nonactive boron doped diamond (BDD) electrode, respectively, in neutral aqueous medium. Aqueous solutions of both phenol and 2-chlorophenol were treated electrochemically using an in-house fabricated flow through electrochemical cell (FTEC). The experimental variables included current input, treatment time, and the flow rate of the solutions. Depending on the magnitude of the applied current and reaction time, the compounds were either completely degraded or partially oxidized to other intermediates. Removal efficiencies reached as high as 93.2% and 94.8% both at the Pt/Ti electrode and BDD electrode, respectively, at an applied current of 200 mA for a 3.0 hr reaction and a flow rate of 4 mL/min. The BDD electrode was much more efficient for the complete mineralization of phenol and 2-chlorophenol than the Pt/Ti electrode.
