      • 飼料用 수수 品種 開發에 관한 硏究 : Ⅳ. 同質四倍體 수수와 Johnsongrass 種間交雜種의 細包 學的遺傳硏究 Ⅳ. Cytogenetic Studies on Interspecific hybrid Between Autotetraploid Sorghum and Johnsongrass

        Interspecific hybrid between autotetraploid Sorghum(S. bicolor(L.) Moench) and Johnsongrass (S. halepense(L.) Pers) were produced using hand and plasticbags emasculation. The objectives of this research were to study cytogenetics and POD spectrum of the hybrids. The forage value of interspecific hybrid was also performed. The results showed as follows; 1. The average chromosome configuration per cell at meiotic M I of F_1 hybrid's PCMs was 0.17 Ⅰ+14.11Ⅱ+0.028Ⅲ+2.87Ⅳ+0.004Ⅴ+0.007Ⅵ+0.0007Ⅶ. At anaphase Ⅱ, unsynchronized distribution was observed expect laggards, it was negatively and significantly correlated with the number of chain quadrivalents of parent sorghum (r=-0.8718). 2. The POD spectrum of interspecific hybrid was tendency to that of Johnsongrass, and exhibited characteristic bands of Johnsongrass. Index of spectrum similarity between F_1 and parent Sorghum, Johnsongrass were 58.00%, 68.69%, respectively. The genomic model of Johnsongrass and the way of transferring desirable genes to cultivated sorghum from Johnsongrass were also discussed.

        Narrative Bodies in Chinese Suspense TV Dramas: A Case Analysis of Under The Skin

        An increasing number of TV works screened on streaming platforms; this have ushered in a new chapter in the creation of Chinese suspense TV dramas. Works released in recent years, including Under The Skin (Lie zui tu jian), have drawn audiences’ attention to suspensive dramas at a new level. Under The Skin was released on prime streaming platforms on March 6, 2022 and became a hit in Japan and Korea. The leading role in this Chinese suspense TV drama is that of a forensic sketch artist; thus, human bodies and appearances serve as important clues to crack cases. The body is the object of attention in the multidisciplinary fields of anthropology, psychology, and art, and body narrative is an important research paradigm that integrates the theoretical elements of these fields in the context of narratology. In this regard, our paper provides an analysis of the narrative bodies in Under The Skin.

        Preparation and Property of Wet-spun Silk Fibroin Filaments with Fibrils Regenerated by Dissolving in CaCl₂-Formic Acid

        In this work, silk fibroin (SF) filament with fibrils regenerated by dissolving in CaCl₂-formic acid (FA) was prepared by wet-spun method at room temperature. Different from traditional dissolved methods, SF solutions obtained by dissolving in CaCl₂-FA preserved fibrils, which have been recognized as the key to the high performance of native silk. The morphology of SF filament was analyzed, very dense filaments with smooth surface and circular, nanofibrils could be observed in longitudinal and cross-sections of filaments. Moreover, the breaking stress of samples was gradually increased with the increase of draw-down ratios. After 3 times drawing, the breaking stress and elongation at break of filament were 276.4±22.6 MPa and 40.8±3.1%, respectively. At the same time, the secondary structure of SF filament was typical β-sheet. In addition, SF filaments showed excellent degradation property, the mass lost of SF filament declined 42% after incubating in protease XIV solution. Above all, the human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) adhered very well on the surface of the filaments, which demonstrated the good biocompatibility of SF filaments, was suitable for application in tissue engineering.

        The Influence of Challenge on Cathepsin B and D Expression Patterns in the Silkworm Bombyx mori L.

        Cathepsins are well-characterized proteases that are ubiquitously expressed in lysosomes. Previous work revealed that $Bombyx$ $mori$ cathepsins B and D are expressed in the fat body and undergo decomposition during larval-pupal metamorphosis. Quantitative RT-PCR was performed to detect cathepsin gene expression at the transcription level when challenged by $B.$ $mori$ nuclear polyhedrosis virus (BmNPV), temperature and hormones (20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) and juvenile hormone analogue (JHA)). mRNAs encoding cathepsins B and D were significantly enhanced after the larvae were infected with BmNPV, and the peak of the induction appeared at 1 day before spinning. This attenuated the inducing effect on cathepsin expression caused by infection. Temperature shock induced cathepsin expression at the later stage of the $5^{th}$ instar, and transcription levels varied with development stage and temperature. Cathepsin B and D mRNA expression in the fat body were significantly induced by JHA at the day before spinning, and with 20E, the expression reached a peak at the last day of the $5^{th}$ instar. Cathepsin B and D mRNA expression exhibited detectable changes post-treatment, without significant differences between or among the hormone concentrations.

        One-pot synthesis of fluorescent nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots for portable detection of iron ion

        Nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots (N-GQD) were synthesized by direct thermal decomposition of ammonium citrate tribasic. With the increment of torrefaction temperature, the average size of N-GQD was increased from 2.56 to 3.73 nm. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis (XPS) proved the successful doping of nitrogen atoms. Besides, the N-GQDs showed blue fluorescence which was quenched by Fe3+ ions, and the fluorescence intensity of N-GQDs decayed exponentially. Accordingly, the same quenching effect was observed on a test paper prepared by soaking paper in N-GQDs dispersion. The quenching mechanism was due to electron transfer between Fe3+ and functional groups on the surface of N-GQDs which could be confirmed by XPS and diameter growth. Therefore, through this simple method, N-GQDs with high blue fluorescence and high production yield (64%) can be prepared, which provided a new strategy for monitoring and collecting Fe3+ in environmental water.

        Effects of Castration on Androgen Receptor, IGF-I Ea, MGF and Myostatin Gene Expression in Skeletal Muscles of Male Pigs

        Castration of male pig produces significant negative effects on skeletal muscle development. The androgen receptor (AR), two splice variants of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I Ea and MGF) and the myostatin gene may play important roles in this process. In the present study, the expression of AR, IGF-I Ea, MGF and myostatin genes in three skeletal muscles, the brachialis, longissimus and semitendinosus, were studied using real-time quantitative RT-PCR. Our experimental design used 14 pairs of male Landrace sire${\times}$Yorkshire dam piglets. The two piglets in each pair were full sibs, one of which was castrated at 21 d of age; the other remained intact. The study group was divided into subgroups of equal size. Animals in the first subgroup were slaughtered at 147 d and those of the second at 210 d of age. Carcass weight and lean meat yield were similar between boars and barrows at 147 d of age (p>0.05), whereas barrows had lower carcass weight and less lean meat yield at 210 d of age (p<0.05). Castration caused down-regulation of AR gene expression at both 147 and 210 d of age (p<0.05). The two splice variants of the IGF-I gene from porcine skeletal muscle were cloned using RT-PCR, and it was found that MGF differs from IGF-I Ea in having a 52-base insert in the last coding exon of the mRNA. Both splice variants were down-regulated by castration only at 210 d of age (p<0.05). No differences in expression of the myostatin gene were observed between boars and barrows at either 147 or 210 d of age (p>0.05). These results suggest that the downregulation of AR, IGF-I Ea and MGF gene expression following castration helps to explain the negative effect of castration on skeletal muscle development.

        Potential of Bioengineering Processes for Therapeutic Repopulation of the Liver with Cells

        Multiple unique aspects of liver biology make this organ an excellent paradigm for novel cell and gene therapy applications. In recent years, insights were obtained into how transplanted cells engraft and proliferate in the liver, including in the context of pre-existing disease. Also, a variety of animal models were studied to establish the basis of cell and gene therapy applications in specific disorders. Through ongoing research activity, additional mechanisms in liver repopulation have been uncovered, where manipulation of specific cell compartments and cellular processes, e.g., those aimed at extracellular matrix component receptors or soluble signals in transplanted and native cells can be exploited for enhancing cell engraftment and proliferation. Such studies demonstrate the possibility of applying biotechnology and/or bioengineering principles to organ replacement aimed at cell and gene therapy. Joining of these disciplines with research in stem cell biology, particularly in efforts concerning targeting of transplanted stem cells to given organs with achievement of lineage-specific cell differentiation and function, will be particularly important for future cell and gene therapy applications. This review offers an overview of relevant mechanisms in liver repopulation.

        Impacts of Close-to-nature Management Technology on the Korean Pine Soil Chemical Properties in Northeast China

        Based on the guiding ideology of "Close-to-nature forestry", the soil chemical properties of Korean pine (Pinus koraiensis) plantation forest which was early done by canopy gap control were analyzed of Liangshui nature reserve in northeastern China. The results indicated that the nurture of forestry crevice diaphanous tended to improve the soil nutrient contents and significant differences of soil nutrients existed among different levels of soil for the same forest type of Korean pine. At 0< $H{\leq}20$ cm layer, the content of available nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, total nitrogen and total phosphorus in artificial pure Korean pine forest are 640.28 $mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$, 7.54 $mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$, 275.91 $mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$, 1.114% and 0.075%, they all higher than the other kinds of forests and for average 1.1 times, 1.4 times, 1.3 times, 1.6 times and 1.2 times. From the layer of $0<H{\leq}20$ cm to 20 cm < $H{\leq}40$ cm, soil nutrient indicators showed various degrees of decreasing in which organic matter had the greatest decline, decreasing by 170.64% while PH had the lowest decline, decreasing by 4.66%.

        Repetitive Control Design for Variable Instantaneous Frequencies Signals

        Vibration disturbances with variable instantaneous frequencies can be found in many industrial applications. Therefore, rejecting vibration disturbances is a key point for accuracy machining. This paper presents a newmethod for synthesizing repetitive controllers capable of rejecting variable instantaneous frequencies disturbance. The instantaneous frequencies of the disturbance signal are always consisted of multiple-periods characteristics. Therefore, multiple-periodic repetitive control scheme is obtained and multiple-periods are estimated by Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT). HHT is a way to decompose a signal into so-called intrinsic mode functions, and obtaininstantaneous frequency data. It is designed to work well for data that is non-stationary and non-linear. Controlperformance and stability of the proposed repetitive controller with a multi-periodic disturbance are analyzed andits control scheme can be obtained. The decay rate of the rejecting error due to the multiple-periodic disturbanceinputs is related to the peak value of a defined regeneration spectrum function. The control performance of thepresent method is evaluated in an experimental disturbance rejecting control system. Both computer simulation andexperimental results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed repetitive controller design.
