        A Low-Power Portable ECG Touch Sensor with Two Dry Metal Contact Electrodes

        This paper describes the development of a low-power electrocardiogram (ECG) touch sensor intended for the use with two dry metal electrodes. An equivalent ECG extraction circuit model encountered in a ground-free two-electrode configuration is investigated for an optimal sensor read-out circuit design criteria. From the equivalent circuit model, (1) maximum sensor resolution is derived based on the electrode's background thermal noise, which originates from high electrode-skin contact impedance, together with the input referred noise of instrumentation amplifier (IA), (2) 60 Hz electrostatic coupling from mains and motion artifact are also considered to determine minimum requirement of common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and input impedance of IA. A dedicated ECG read-out front end incorporating chopping scheme is introduced to provide an input referred circuit noise of 1.3 ${\mu}V_{rms}$ over 0.5 Hz ~ 200 Hz, CMRR of IA > 100 dB, sensor resolution of 7 bits, and dissipating only 36 ${\mu}W$. Together with 8 bits synchronous successive approximation register (SAR) ADC, the sensor IC chip is implemented in 0.18 ${\mu}m$ CMOS technology and integrated on a 5 cm $\times$ 8 cm PCB with two copper patterned electrodes. With the help of proposed touch sensor, ECG signal containing QRS complex and P, T waves are successfully extracted by simply touching the electrodes with two thumbs.

        Challenges for QTL Analysis in Crops

        Quantitative trait loci, a genetic concept introduced in the 1940s, for explaining the inheritance of non-Mendelian traits, have been realized as particular fragments of chromosomes even unique genes in most crops in the 21st century. However, only very a small portion of QTL has been screened out by geneticists comparing to a great number of genes underneath the quantitative traits. These identified QTL even have been seldom used into breeding program because crop breeders may not find the QTL in their breeding populations in their field station. Several key points will be proposed to meet the challenges of QTL analysis today: a fine mapping population and the related reference genetic map, QTL evaluation in multiple environments, recognizing real QTL with small genetic effect, map integration.         Secure and Lightweight Authentication Protocol in Internet of Things

        The further development of Internet of things (IoT) makes the number of various terminal devices grow rapidly. At the same time, the amount of data collected and transmitted through terminal devices is also increasing. However, in the communication between devices and servers, most of them lack efficient identity authentication and encrypted communication mechanisms suitable for IoT environment. Therefore, in order to secure the communication between these devices and servers, they need to be protected by password technology. This paper proposes a secure communication protocol based on chaotic mapping algorithm, which is used to ensure the bidirectional identity authentication and data encryption between IoT devices and servers. The protocol is proved by Burrows Abadi Needham(BAN) logic, Scyther and informal security analysis that it satisfies the security and can resist various security attacks, and achieve anonymity and non-traceability. Finally, the performance comparison analysis with similar protocols shows that the proposed protocol significantly improves the security and has high efficiency.

        Finite Frequency Positive Real Control for Singularly Perturbed Systems

        In this paper, strictly positive real control for singularly perturbed systems in (semi)finite frequency ranges is studied. For the general linear systems, necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a stabilizing state feedback controller are given based on the generalized KYP lemma, and use the results to study singularly perturbed systems, a composite state feedback controller is constructed, which preserves the stability and positive real property.

As special cases, the corresponding results for multilinear Calderon-Zygmund operators, multilinear fractional inte-grals and multi-sublinear maximal operators will be obtained.

      • An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Idiosyncratic Volatility and Expected Returns : Based on the GEM

        The classic capital asset pricing model theory assumes that the market is valid and that the company's idiosyncratic volatility can be effectively decomposed by constructing the portfolio, and the idiosyncratic volatility of the firm is independent of the expected return and does not require additional compensation. However, more and more scholars have found that there is a clear negative correlation between the company' idiosyncratic volatility and the expected return, contrary to the traditional capital asset pricing theory. So far, there is no definite theory can completely explain this negative correlation. This paper selected the daily and monthly data of China's stock market from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016, and used the Fama-French 3-factor model to measure the monthly volatility of each stock on the GEM market. Using univariate combination analysis and bivariate combination analysis to study what the effect of idiosyncratic volatility is acting on expected returns.

        중국 충칭시 파유문화의 광장경관 문화재생에 관한 연구 -충칭시 삼협광장을 중심으로-

        (연구배경 및 목적) 최근 몇 년 동안 충칭시의 도시화 진행이 빨라지고 경관조성이 대량화되면서, 충칭 본연의 독특한 지역 경관 문화의 특징이 점차 사라지고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 충칭 파유문화가 현대경관 디자인에서 문화적으로 재생되는 현상을 찾아내고, 분석을 통해 현대경관에서 문화를 재생하는 방법을 찾아내기 위함이다. (연구방법) 본 연구에서는 사례조사 연구방법을 선택했다. 우선 충칭의 도시경관 문화의 특징을 가장 잘 대변하는 삼협(三峽)광장을 주요 연구대상으로 하여 조사했고, 현장관찰, 촬영, 인터뷰 등 다양한 형식으로 광장경관에 나타난 충칭 파유문화의 재생현상을 찾아냈다. 그리고 경관에서 나타나는 파유문화 재생 현상을 분류분석, 심층분석, 문화재생 분석 등 경관설계의 현황 및 표현형식을 탐구하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 파유문화가 경관에서 나타나는 현상의 연구 및 분석을 통해 전통 파유문화를 현대경관에 문화재생하는 방법을 도출하였다. (결과) 연구결과, 파유문화는 현대 경관에 문화재생이 가능하다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 파유문화의 자연환경 요소, 고대유적 및 건축요소, 역사적 인류문화의 요소가 파유문화 재생을 구성하는 중요한 구성요소이며, 스토리텔링을 통해 경관 속 문화재생을 말해주고 있다. 파유문화는 경관 속의 공공시설물, 공공조형물, 공공표지물을 현대적으로 설계하여 활용함으로써 경관의 문화재생을 도모한다. (결론) 본 논문은 충칭의 파유문화가 도시 광장의 경관에 미치는 문화적 재생에 관한 연구를 통해 충칭 도시중심구(主城區))의 도시계획 분석을 통해 광장의 장점과 단점을 탐구하였다. 파유문화는 도시 광장에 디자인을 응용할 때 3가지 단계를 거쳐야 한다고 생각한다. 첫째, 소재를 수집하고, 파유문화요소를 발굴하는 것이다. 둘째, 소재를 정리하고 파유문화를 디자인하는 '보물'을 찾는 것이고, 세 번째는 문화재생의 방법을 도입하고, 보물찾기형 문화재생 방법과 스토리텔링형 문화재생의 방법을 체계적으로 도입하여, 충칭광장 경관인 파유문화재생디자인의 이론적 체계를 수립하는 것이다. (Background and Purpose) In recent years, with the acceleration of the urbanization process in Chongqing, the landscape design has been mass-produced, and the unique geographical landscape cultural characteristics of Chongqing are gradually disappearing. The purpose of this paper is to find out the phenomenon of cultural regeneration of Chongqing Bayu culture in modern landscape design, and to find out the method of cultural regeneration of Bayu culture in modern landscape. (Method) This study used a case study methodology. Firstly, the Three Gorges Square, which is the most representative of Chongqing's urban landscape culture characteristics, was selected for investigation. Through the investigations, shooting records, and conversation records, the phenomenon of Chongqing Bayu culture reappearing in the square landscape was investigated. Then, the classification analysis, frequency analysis and cultural regeneration analysis of the Bayu culture reappearance appearing in the landscape are explored to explore the status quo and manifestation of the Bayu culture in landscape design. Finally, by analyzing the phenomena appearing in the landscape of these Bayu cultures, the method of cultural regeneration in the modern landscape can be derived from the traditional Bayu culture. (Results) The results of the study indicate that the Bayu culture can be culturally regenerated in modern landscapes. The natural environment elements of the Bashu culture, the ancient ruins and ancient architectural elements, and the historical and human elements are all important elements that constitute the regeneration of the Chongqing urban landscape Bayu culture. These Bayu cultural elements are culturally regenerated in the landscape through storytelling. The Bashu culture carries out the cultural regeneration of the landscape through the flexible use of modern facilities in the public facilities, public sculptures and public signs in the landscape. (Conclusions) In this paper, the paper focuses on the study of cultural regeneration of Chongqing Bayu culture in the urban square landscape, through the design analysis of the main square in the main city of Chongqing, explores the advantages and disadvantages of the main city square in Chongqing. It is believed that the Bayu culture should follow three major steps in the design and application of the city square: one is to collect materials and excavate the elements of the Bayu culture; the second is to organize the materials, to find the “treasures” for designing the Bashu culture, and the third is to introduce the method of cultural regeneration. The system introduces the treasure-seeking culture regeneration method and the story-telling culture regeneration method, and establishes the theoretical system of the Chongqing Square landscape Bayu culture regeneration design.
