Analysis of the International Competitiveness and Influencing Factors of China’s Service Trade
Xinying Liu,Yongni Chen,Xiaohui Wang The International Academy of Global Business and T 2020 The International Academy of Global Business and T Vol.16 No.2
Purpose - In world trade, the development of the service trade has been extremely rapid, and its development is even faster than that of the goods trade. In order to have a more comprehensive and accurate understanding of the development status of China’s service trade, the article mainly analyzes the status quo of China’s service trade. By analyzing the status quo of China’s service trade’s international competitiveness, it finds problems in the development of China’s service trade, and proposes ideas to improve China’s service trade with measures of international competitiveness. Design/Methodology/Approach - The article first analyzes the status quo of China’s service trade development from a macro perspective, and then analyzes the level of China’s service trade international competitiveness from three aspects: international market share, trade competitive advantage index, and explicit comparative advantage index. At the same time, based on Porter’s “Diamond Model”, the article selects production factors, demand factors, support from related industries, and government factors as auxiliary factors for research on China’s service trade. Taking the trade competitiveness index as the dependent variable, the amount of employment in the tertiary industry, per capita GDP, the export value of the goods trade, foreign direct investment, and scientific and technological expenditures are used as independent variables to establish a model. This model is used to conduct quantitative analysis. Findings - The article found that the overall competitiveness of China’s service trade is relatively weak, with serious deficits and uneven structural development. Through quantitative analysis, it is understood that the international competitiveness of China’s service trade is negatively correlated with the amount of employment in the tertiary industry and GDP per capita, and is positively correlated with foreign direct investment, China’s trade exports, and science and technology expenditures. Research Implications - Affected by the pandemic, the structure of the global service trade has undergone great changes, bringing new opportunities to the development of the global service trade. By analyzing the status quo and problems of the international competitiveness of China’s service trade, relevant suggestions are put forward to better promote the development of China’s service trade and improve the international competitiveness of China’s service trade.
A Novel Interleaved Non-Isolated Switched-Capacitor Network High Step-Up DC/DC Converter
Xinying Li,Yan Zhang,Pengxiang Zeng,Jinshui Zhang,Jinjun Liu 전력전자학회 2019 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2019 No.5
This paper introduces a novel interleaved non-isolated high step-up DC/DC converter with switchedcapacitor network. Due to interleaved structure and switched-capacitor network, the proposed converter has the advantage of low input current ripple, high step-up voltage conversion ratio and low voltage stress for all the switches and diodes which means lower voltage level semiconductors and high efficiency. After a detailed comparison with other recent existing topologies, it is clear that the proposed converter has a lower comprehensive cost, higher voltage conversion ratio, and lower output voltage ripple than other converters. The operation principle, steady-state analysis, parameter design for this converter are presented. Finally, experiment results are also presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed converter.
Preparation of mesoporous silica from coal slag and its metal ion adsorption behavior
Xinying Zhang,Yu Wu,Xuefang Li,Xianlong Meng,Huihu Shi,Zhaojun Wu,Jianbin Zhang 한국화학공학회 2019 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.36 No.5
A novel mesoporous silica (MS) with the high specific surface area up to 1,199m2/g was prepared from coal slag by SO3 2 leaching and hydrothermal synthesis. Its application in metal ion removal was explored using Pb2+, Cu2+, Co2+ and Cd2+ as the model ions. The effects of adsorption time, pH, initial metal ion concentration, adsorbent dosage and adsorption temperature on the metal ion adsorption behaviors of the as-prepared MS were systematically, and the maximum adsorption capacities were measured to be 55.76mg·g1, 33.49mg·g1, 24.29mg·g1 and 22.98mg· g1 for Pb2+, Cu2+, Co2+ and Cd2+, respectively. The metal ion adsorption on the as-prepared MS followed pseudo-second- order kinetics, and the adsorption isotherm fitted the Langmuir isotherm model, indicating that the adsorption was spontaneous, endothermic and enthalpy driven.
Noneconomic Barriers and Impediments upon China's Outbound M&A in the Financial Depression
Liu Xinying 인하대학교 정석물류통상연구원 2009 인하대학교 정석물류통상연구원 학술대회 Vol.2009 No.10
With the economic crisis depressing asset prices worldwide, Chinese firms havelaunched multibillion dollar bids for distressed resource firms, and the Chinese government is encouraging outbound investment by easing and decentralizing regulatroy procedures, broadening financing channels for firms with overseas ambitions, and publiczing China"s international investment intention. At the same time, however, global economic turbulence is making potential Chinese investors insecure. Economic and political barriers and impediments upon China"s outbound M&A have blocked the free capital mobility and fortified the imbbalance of interest allocation between group with advantages in factor endowment or in industrial transfer. The value of approved nonfinancial overseas projects in the first quarter of 2009 dropped to $3.7 billion, from more than $10 billion in the same period last year. To explore the underlying causes of non-economic barriers and impediments and the changing motives for China"s firms to invest abroad, the author intends to figure out effective measures for promoting China"s outbound M&A.
