      • Research on a New Hybrid Intelligent Fault Diagnosis Method and its Application

        Zhenhua Wang,Zhentao Liu,Xueyan Lan,Jian Liu,Shaowei Wang,Yangming Wu,Yanbing Xue 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.10 No.7

In order to overcome the shortcomings of slow convergence speed and easy falling into the local minimum values of the BP neural network, an improved particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm is proposed to optimize the redial basic function (RBF) neural network, in order to propose a new hybrid intelligent fault diagnosis(IMPSO-RBFNN) method. In the IMPSO-RBFNN method, the adaptive dynamic adjusting strategy is used to control the inertia weight of the PSO algorithm in order to an improved particle swarm optimization(IMPSO) algorithm. Then the IMPSO algorithm is selected to optimize the parameters of RBF neural network by encoding the particle and continuous iteration of the IMPSO algorithm in order to obtain the optimal combination values of the parameters of RBF neural network. The optimal combination values are regarded as the values of these parameters of the RBFNN for constructing the final IMPSO-RBFNN method. In order to test the effectiveness of the proposed IMPSO-RBFNN method, the data from bearing data center of CWRU is selected in this paper. The experiment results show that the IMPSO algorithm can effectively optimize the weights of RBFNN, the IMPSO-RBFNN method can accurately realize high precision fault diagnosis of rolling bearing.

Ultrathin MEMS thermoelectric generator with Bi2Te3/(Pt, Au) multilayers and Sb2Te3 legs

        Liu Yang,Mu Erzhen,Wu Zhenhua,Che Zhanxun,Sun Fangyuan,Fu Xuecheng,Wang Fengdan,Wang Xinwei,Hu Zhiyu 나노기술연구협의회 2020 Nano Convergence Vol.7 No.8

Multilayer structure is one of the research focuses of thermoelectric (TE) material in recent years. In this work, n-type 800 nm Bi 2 Te 3 /(Pt, Au) multilayers are designed with p-type Sb 2 Te 3 legs to fabricate ultrathin microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) TE devices. The power factor of the annealed Bi 2 Te 3 /Pt multilayer reaches 46.5 μW cm −1 K −2 at 303 K, which corresponds to more than a 350% enhancement when compared to pristine Bi 2 Te 3 . The annealed Bi 2 Te 3 /Au multilayers have a lower power factor than pristine Bi 2 Te 3 . The power of the device with Sb 2 Te 3 and Bi 2 Te 3 /Pt multilayers measures 20.9 nW at 463 K and the calculated maximum output power reaches 10.5 nW, which is 39.5% higher than the device based on Sb 2 Te 3 and Bi 2 Te 3 , and 96.7% higher than the Sb 2 Te 3 and Bi 2 Te 3 /Au multilayers one. This work can provide an opportunity to improve TE properties by using multilayer structures and novel ultrathin MEMS TE devices in a wide variety of applications.

Elevated TRAF4 expression impaired LPS-induced autophagy in mesenchymal stem cells from ankylosing spondylitis patients

        Jinteng Li,Peng Wang,Zhongyu Xie,Rui Yang,Yuxi Li,Xiaohua Wu,Hongjun Su,Wen Deng,Shan Wang,Zhenhua Liu,Shuizhong Cen,Yi Ouyang,Yanfeng Wu,Huiyong Shen 생화학분자생물학회 2017 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.49 No.-

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a type of autoimmune disease that predominantly affects the spine and sacroiliac joints. However, the pathogenesis of AS remains unclear. Some evidence indicates that infection with bacteria, especially Gram-negative bacteria, may have an important role in the onset and progression of AS. Recently, many studies have demonstrated that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) dysfunction may contribute to the pathogenesis of many rheumatic diseases. We previously demonstrated that MSCs from AS patients exhibited markedly enhanced osteogenic differentiation capacity in vitro under non-inflammatory conditions. However, the properties of MSCs from AS patients in an inflammatory environment have never been explored. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a proinflammatory substance derived from the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, can alter the status and function of MSCs. However, whether MSCs from AS patients exhibit abnormal responses to LPS stimulation has not been reported. Autophagy is a lysosome-mediated catabolic process that participates in many physiological and pathological processes. The link between autophagy and AS remains largely unknown. The level of autophagy in ASMSCs after LPS stimulation remains to be addressed. In this study, we demonstrated that although the basal level of autophagy did not differ between MSCs from healthy donors (HDMSCs) and ASMSCs, LPS-induced autophagy was weaker in ASMSCs than in HDMSCs. Specifically, increased TRAF4 expression in ASMSCs impaired LPS-induced autophagy, potentially by inhibiting the phosphorylation of Beclin-1. These data may provide further insight into ASMSC dysfunction and the precise mechanism underlying the pathogenesis of AS.

Influence of Lubricant on the Properties of Poly(ether ether ketone) and Poly(ether ether ketone)/Carbon Fiber Composites

        Shuling Zhang,Jianxin Mu,Dianfu Ren,Fugui Zhou,Zhenhua Jiang,Zhongwen Wu,Guibin Wang 한국고분자학회 2010 Macromolecular Research Vol.18 No.12

An improvement in the processability of poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) and PEEK/carbon fiber (PEEK/CF) composites with less influence on the other properties is important. A novel high temperature lubricant, GENIOPLAST PELLETS (GPPS), was used to decrease the melt viscosity of PEEK and PEEK/CF composites. PEEK/GPPS and PEEK/CF/GPPS compounds were characterized by dynamic rheometry, universal tester, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that a small amount of GPPS could decrease the melt viscosity of the compounds during processing, and improve the dispersion uniformity of the carbon fiber in the PEEK matrix, and further enhance the tensile strength of PEEK/CF composites, but have little effect the thermal stability of the compounds.
