Apparent CP Deletion and DP Relatedness

This paper deals with the apparent CP deletion phenomena in Korean discussed in Ahn & Cho (2009) first. Ahn & Cho claim that CP deletion is not allowed in Korean and the cases which seem to involve CP deletion are not really CP deletion constructions, but involve invisible pronoun pro. Although sharing the same view regarding the non-existence of real CP deletion, this paper deduces a different generalization from Ahn & Cho. According to Ahn & Cho, pro is allowed only when oven pronoun ku kes is allowed, regardless of whether there is a clausal DP counterpart of the apparently deleted CP or not. But this paper claims that there is a perfect parallelism between the occurrence of pro and the comparable clausal DP counterpart of the CP complement, This paper also provides an alternative analysis for the NP1 containing CP deletion cases, showing that deletion is possible in these cases only when the NPI and its licenser are both included in the deletion (or replacement) site.

In this study, a series of experiments is carried out to investigate the fatigue charateristics of plain concrete in water and seawater which is subjected to cyclic loading with constant amplitude. A total of 200 cylindrical specimens (ø10x20 cm), which were made by readymixed concrete, are prepared for this study. From these series of tests, it is observed that the static and fatigue compressive strength of plain concrete in water and seawater is consideraly lower than that in air. The fatigue strength of the concrete in water is decreased with comparision to that in seawater when stress ratio(??)is less than 0.1, but the concrete in water and seawater has similar fatigue characteristics when the stress ratio is not less than 0.1. And it has been found that the fatigue strength of the concrete in water and seawater is affected by the stress ratio.
옥내/외 압력차에 따른 실내라돈(^222Rn) 유입 예측 모델에 관한 연구

Indoor radon is produced in primarily by pressure differentials from indoor/sub-slab and indoor/outdoor environment. The differential pressure between two separated regions was changed theoretically into differential temperature by using the ideal gas law. The difference between model prediction and measurements can be characterized by Mean Square Error(MSE) method. The MSE value of 0.11 Pa shows good agreement between predicted pressure differentials and measured pressure differentials.

The study was carried out to examine how much clinically useful was the skin thickness in diagnosis of osteoporosis. The project was to look into not only the presumption that patients with osteoporosis have the skin loss at the similar rate of the reduction in the collagen content of the bone but also the correlation between the collagen content and the skin thickness. The skin thickness was measured on the dorsal hand(right) of the patients using an ultrasonic technique with a 20 MHz focused ultrasonic transducer. Measurements of the bone density of the patients were made on both the lumbar spine (L2-4) and the femoral neck using DualEnergy Xray Absorptionmeter(DEXA, Norland). An ultrasonic bone densitometer(Mark 6000, Medison Co. Korea) was taken to measure the speed of sound (SOS) on the calcaneus. It was observed that there were some degrees of correlation between the bone density obtained by the DEXA and the SOS of the calcaneous (P<0.01). There was no evidence that the skin thickness was correlated with the DEXA produced bone density and ultrasonically measured SOS.
Alnico 8 型 硬質磁性材料의 磁氣的 性質에 미치는 添加元素의 影響

In order to study the alloying elements effects on the magnetic properties in Alnico 8 (Fe-35Co-14Ni-7Al-5Ti-3Cu) permanent magnet alloy, some Alnico 8-type alloys which are different in composition of Ni, Cu, Ti and Al were prepared by induction melting. They were thermomagnetically treated at 740℃ - 840℃ for 3-15 min and then aged at 600℃ for 15hours. The magnetic properties and the optimum thermomagnetic treatment condition were investigated. The results were as follows ; 1) The region of the high temperature α phase, the zone of the solution treatment, is extended by Al and Ti, but that is reduced by Ni and Cu. 2) In the composition range of 10-14 wt.% of Ni, the coercive force decreases greatly with decreasing the Ni content with little change of the residual magnetization and the squareness of demagnetization curve. The optimum thermomagnetic treatment condition appeared at high temperature and short time with decreasing the Ni content. 3) In the composition range of 1-3wt.% of Cu, the coercive force decreases greatly with decreasing the Cu content, but the residual magnetization shows increasing tendency with decreasing the Cu content. The optimum thermomagnetic treatment condition appeared at low temperature and long time with decreasing the Cu content. 4) In the composition range of 5-8wt.% of Ti, the coercive force increases with increasing the Ti content, but the residual magnetization decreases with increasing Ti content. The optimum thermomagnetic treatment temperature was not dependent on the Ti content, but the optimum thermomagnetic treatment time appeared at long time with increasing the Ti content.

국내 네트워크 장비 개발이 활발해짐에 따라 이들 장비들에 대한 검증이 중요하게 되어 네트워크 장비 시험센터가 설립되었다. 이 센터가 효율적으로 운용되기 위해서는 이용자들의 요구사항을 파악하여 반영하고 시험결과나 관련정보들을 효율적으로 수집하고 알려주는 시스템이 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문은 웹 기반에 액티브 서버 페이지를 이용하여 언제 어디서나 누구든지 네트워크 장비 시험센터에 접속해서 설문조사를 통해 사용자의 요구 사항을 파악하여 반영하고, 네트웍 장비의 시험정보와 시험일정, 시험결과 및 관련정보를 데이터 베이스화하여 효율적으로 보여주고 관리 할 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. The Network Equipment Test Center(NETC) was established and began to operate. To use the NETC effectively, the management system is required. The Network Equipment Test Center System is a system which retrieves and manages the informations related to the NETC. We design and implement the web based system.
비모형화 특성 및 외란을 갖는 비선형 시스템에 대한 강인한 적응 제어기 설계에 관한 연구

In this paper we present a robust adaptive backstepping output-feedback controller for nonlinear systems perturbed by unmodelled dynamics and disturbances. The adaptive backstepping controller has been extremely successful in the last several years for nominal nonlinear and linear systems. However, the systems perturbed by unmodelled dynamics and disturbances have not been well studied in case of the adaptive backstepping controller. We will use "Switching-σ Modification" in the update law which has been used in the conventional robust adaptive controller and a modified control law to attenuate the effects of unmodelled dynamics and disturbances for nonlinear systems. The plant dynamics that ale represented by an output-feedback form will be transformed to the adaptive observer form by the recently developed Marino-Tomei (MT) filter. We analyze convergence, stability and transient characteristics of the resulting closed-loop system. The feasibility of the proposed controller and its performance are demonstrated by some suitable simulations.

This paper was to survey preferences of bridal wedding bouquet by young women at the age of marriage and outdoor-wedding bouquet. The accessive results showed necessity of the bouquet for their purposes of just taking photography outdoors (71%). The most preferred main materials belong robes (46%) and orchids (21%) in that order. Gypsophilas (32%) were found to be the most preferred secondary material for the floral design, and miniature roses (28%) were the second most preferred. Ivies (45%) were the most foliage material preferred and asparagus (22%) in the next. 45% of the subjects preferred were one or two kinds of materials put in bridal bouquet. In outdoor-used bouquet, 47% of participants joined in the survey indicated their preferences to use three to four kinds of floral material, while 13% of the subjects preferred five to six kinds of material in them. 79.8% of the participants responded to prefer white or cream colors in bridal bouquet, while 47.9% preferred pink and red colors when in outdoors. The survey results indicated that Korean women at the marriage age seem to prefer mixtures of variety and yet colorful ones for the outdoor bouquet. They preferred cascade (43%) and round shape (31%) varied of bridal bouquet. Free style (38%) and round shape (27%) bouquet were likened by the people.

Rubi Fructus(Korean name : Bog-bun-ja) has been used in oriental traditional medicine as the remedies for impotence, pollution, premature ejaculation and frequency of urination etc. By means of chromatographic methods, three hydrolyzable tannins were isolated from the commercial Rubi Fructus. The structures of these compounds were established as gallic acid, pedunculagin and sanguiin H-6 on the basis of physicochemical and spectroscopic evidences.

At present all the discharged spent nuclear fuells are stored in at-reator (AR) pools of each nuclear power plant in Korea, but most of the exciting AR pools will lose their full core reserve capacities in the late of 1990s Untill the long-term spent nuclear fuel management policy will be established, this cummulative spent nuclear fuels should be safely stored in an applicable storage facility. By this study results, the alternatives to solve this storage problem of the cummulative spent nuclear fuels are recommended as the followings : If the policy making would be done in the near future, the storage capacities of the existing pools would be expanded by the replacement of the old racks into or the installation of high density racks, and, if it could not be, a centralized wet or dry storage management of the spent nuclear fuels should be more reasonable.
