      • 쌀, 옥수수에 대한 솔잎 Polyphenols 처리가 Aflatoxin 생성 저해에 미치는 영향

        쌀과 옥수수를 온습도의 조절 없이 상온에서 90일간 장기저장하며 aflatoxin 생성 정도를 측정해 본 결과 쌀과 옥수수에서 공통적으로 저장 30일 이후 각각 0.1, 0.3 ppb의 aflatoxin이 검출되었다. 그러나 저장 온도 및 습도가 상승할수록 aflatoxin 생성 정도는 비례적으로 급속한 증가추세를 나타내어 이들 시료에서 aflatoxin 생성 최적 온습도는 각각 25∼30℃, 80% 내외인 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 동일한 조건하에서 상대적으로 쌀보다는 옥수수에서 그 생성 정도가 심각함을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편, aflatoxin 생성 최적조건인 온도 30℃, 습도 80%의 조건하에서 쌀과 옥수수에 대하여 MeOH 추출물과 polyphenol성 물질들을 각각 0∼0.05% (w/w) 단독처리하여 저장기간에 다른 aflatoxin의 생성량을 측정한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 즉, 전체적으로 그 처리량이 증가할수록 상대적으로 aflatoxin 억제능은 상승하는 것으로 나타났으며, 종류별로는 catechin (CT) < MeOH extract <polyphenol(PP) < flavonoid (FN)의 순으로 나타났다. While rice and corn were stored at room temperature for 90 days the degree of aflatoxin production was measured without humidity and temperature control. The amount of aflatoxin production of rice and corn after 30 days was 0.1 and 0.3 ppb, respectively. The degree of aflatoxin production increased rapidly with increasing storage temperature and humidity. The optimum conditions of aflatoxin production were 25∼30℃ and 80% humidity. The degree of aflatoxin production in corn was higher than in rice under the same conditions. Rice and corn were treated with 0∼0.05%(w/w) of methyl alcohol (MeOH) extract and polyphenol (PP) group materials individualy respectively under the optimum conditions. As the result, the inhibition effect of aflatoxin production increased with increasing the amount of treatment. It appeared as follows: catechin (CT) < MeOH extract < PP < flavonoid (FN).

      • 라덱스 혼입률에 따른 철근콘크리트의 휨파괴 거동특성

        Reinforced concrete(R/C) is commonly used to structures because they have many merits that compressive strength, economy and so on. However, reinforced concrete has a crack at the tensile section which is due to the relatively lower tensile strength than its compressive strength. Latex modified concrete(LMC) has higher tensile and flexural strength than the ordinary portland cement, due to the interconnections of hydrated cement and aggregates by a film of latex particles. The purpose of this study was to investigate the flexural behavior of reinforced concrete beam with latex modified concrete, having the main experimental variables such as concrete types(ordinary portland cement concrete, latex modified concrete), latex contents(0%, 15%), flexural steel ratios(0.012, 0.0235), and with/without shear reinforcement. The beam of LMC showed considerably higher initial cracking loads and ductility than that of OPC, but, similar to ultimate strength and deflection. This might be attributed to the interlocking of hydrated cement and aggregates by a film of latex particles, water retention due to hydrophobic, and colloidal properties of the latexes resulting in reduced water evaporation. The beam with latex modified concrete could be adopted at field for controlling and reducing the tensile crack due to its higher tensile strength.

        네르친스크條約의 滿洲文 考察

        The Treaty of Nerchinsk was the first attempt made by China and Russia to reach an agreement on a demarcation of their mutual spheres of control, which had been separated by multitude of tribes, most of them non-sedentary, as late as at the end of the 16th and in the early 17th century. Text of the Treaty was written in 3 languages: Manchu, Russian and Latin. According to German Manchurist W. Fuchs the basic version of the treaty-text was the Manchu, the official affixed version was the Latin. It thus is important the Manchu text is to be studied.

      • 침묵의 나선이론 (The Spiral of Silence Theory)의 광고에의 적용

        This study is to investigate whether the Spiral of Silence theory can be applied to advertisement, or marketing issues contrasted with societal issues. For this purpose, college students were tested over the application of the theory in eight products by the following two types of messages, advertisement-typed messages or article-typed messeges, employing the FCB-Grid model. After a pretest, research was conducted. The pretest was conducted to 80 students in October 2002 in order to select testing products and construct a questionnaire. Then, research was conducted to see how the Spiral of Silence theory made significant group difference between 151 students with article-typed messages and 174 students with advertisement-typed messages in March 2003. This study has three hypotheses. First, the effect of spiral of silence may be less on the group with advertisement-typed messages than the other group with article-typed messages. Second, the effect of spiral of silence may be more on high-involvement products than low-involvement ones. Last, the effect of spiral of silence may be more on products that could be purchased by reason rather than by emotion. To sum up the results the effect of spiral of silence was greater on the group with advertisement-typed messages.

      • 제한효소 SacⅡ의 Isoschizomer인 SexⅢ를 생성하는 토양 Streptomyces 균주의 수리 동정

        제한효소인 SexⅢ을 생성하는 Streptomyces속의 한 균주(Streptomyces sp.58)를 토양으로부터 분리하여 형태적 관찰 및 수리동정을 실시하였다. 50여개의 분류 단위 형질을 분석하였고 이 실험 결과를 TAXON program에 적용하여 종의 수리 동정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 분리균은 Streptomyces의 제5주군집에 속하는 것으로 나타나 Streptomyces exfoliatus의 한 균주로 동정하였다. Numerical identification was carried out for an isolate of Streptomyces sp. 58 producing a new restriction endonuclease SexⅢ. Fifty taxonomic unit characters were tested and the data were analyzed numerically using the TAXON program. The isolate was identified to the major 5 or Streptomyces. Therefore, it was concluded that the isolate was identified to be a member of Streptomyces exfoliatus.

        Recently micro deep hole drilling is required in the whole industry. However, micro deep hole drilling has still much difficulty because of the lack of drill rigidity and the interruption of chip. We treated a micro deep hole(diameter 0.35mm, depth 3mm) used in a connector jack pin. Therefore, a surface roughness is very important. In this paper, we studied on the variation of the surface roughness for cutting conditions during micro deep hole drilling of Be-Cu material. Most of all, we tried to drill on CNC for the realization of automatization.

      • 조기탈형을 위한 라텍스 개질 초속경 콘크리트의 개발 및 강도발현 특성

        현재 스틸렌-부타디엔 라텍스(styrene-butadiene latex)를 혼입한 콘크리트는 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 교면포장용으로 라텍스 개질 콘크리트(LMC)의 사용은 일반 콘크리트와 다르지 않지만 라텍스에 의해 콘크리트의 특성을 향상시킨다. 그러나, 이와 같은 라텍스 개질 콘크리트와 다르지 않지만 라텍스에 의해 콘크리트의 특성을 향상시킨다. 그러나, 이와 같은 라텍스 개질 콘크리트는 장시간 양생을 요하는 문제로 인해 긴급을 요하는 곳에는 적용할 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초속경시멘트를 사용한 라텍스 개질 콘크리트를 개발하고, 이에 따른 작업성 및 강도발현특성을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 실험결과, 지연제와 소포제를 사용한 라텍스 개질 초속경 콘크리트(RSLMC)의 강도발현을 확인할 수 있었으며, 제안된 최적배합은 초속경성의 강도발현으로 인해 현장에서 긴급보수에 적용이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 라텍스 개질 초속경 콘크리트는 교면포장, 포장체, 빌딩등의 보수에 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. Concrete containing styrene-butadiene latex is widely used, nowadays, as a protective system for bridge. The usage of latex modified concrete (LMC) as an overlay system is not all that different from any quality concrete, but the improved properties impart to the concrete by the latex. However, this may not be used for repair works because the bridge lane could not be closed for several weeks for curing. Therefore, this study focused on the development of rapid-setting cement latex modified concrete (RSLMC), and on the investigation of workability and strength development. As a result, this study clearly validated the strength development of RSLMC by introducing a retarder and an antifoam agent. The proposed optimized concrete mixtures might be satisfactorily applied for the repair works in fields, because of its rapid strength development, respectively. Therefore, RSLMC could be used in many repair or overlay works such as bridge deck, pavement or building.

        Neuronal Architecture of the Hippocampus and the Cerebral Cortex in Rats Experiencing Maternal Social Separation

        Objective:Maternal social separation (MSS), a crucial early life experience, plays an essential role in the development of the nervous system. In our previous study, we demonstrated that the volume of the dentate gyrus decreases among rats experiencing MSS. Furthermore, chronic stress has been assumed to alter synaptic structures within the hippocampus. Therefore, we assessed the effects of MSS on neuronal morphology in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex. Methods:Golgi histochemistry and calretinin immunohistochemistry were used to evaluate the structure of neurons from the hippocampus and cerebral cortex in control and MSS rats. Results:Three weeks of maternal social separation was associated with morphological alteration of the apical dendrites of CA3 pyramidal neurons. Furthermore, calretinin-positive dentate pyramidal basket cells, GABAergic interneurons, significantly decreased in MSS rats. However, no morphological alterations of pyramidal neurons and interneurons in the cerebral cortex were observed. In addition, spine density in the terminal dendritic branches did not differ between control and MSS rats. Conclusion:These findings demonstrate that maternal social separation is associated with changes in neuronal architecture, and with biological features that might underlie behavioral and learning impairments.
