소 결합 환경에서 순환 질의 처리를 위한 형판 연산기법

본 논문에서는 소 결합 환경하에서 순환 질의의 한 부류를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 template 처리 기법을 제안하고, 그 정당성을 증명하였다. Template 처리 기법은 주 기억장치내의 릴레이션과 이차 기억장치에 저장되어 있는 릴레이션 사이의 비용이 비싼 결합 연산(join)을 완전히 제거함으로써 순환 질의를 효과적으로 처리한다. 본 기법으로 처리할 수 있는 질의의 부류는 Whang과 Navathe가 제안한 확장된 논리합 정규형(extended disjunctive normal form)으로 표현하였을 때, 하나의 비환형 트리(nonlooped-tree)와 하나의 단일환형 트리(single looped tree)로 표현된다. We present the template evaluation technique for efficient processing of a class of recursive logic queries in a loosely-coupled environment. Using this technique, queries are evaluated efficiently by avoiding costly joins between an in-memory relation residing in main memory and a database relation residing in the secondary storage. The queries in this class are those represented by one nonlooped tree and one single-looped tree (indicating linear recursion) in the extended disjunction normal form proposed by Whang and Navathe. We also prove the correctness of the template evaluation technique.

본 연구에서는 對稱 및 比對稱 電荷變換에 대한 Rapp와 Francis의 理論을 유효 이온화 에너지와 충격인자를 사용하여 개량하였으며, 理論式을 Perel 및 C.N. Whang의 실험결과와 비교해 본 결과 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 대칭 전하 변환과정에서 임자이온의 에너지가 증가함에 따라 단면적이 감소하며, 비대칭 변환과정에서 임사이온의 속도가 증가함에 따라 단면적이 감소한다.

1980년대 중반 이후 경제학 문헌에서는 경제자료의 동태적 성질이 카오스적 특성을 가질 수 있다는 가능성에 대해 학자들의 많은 관심이 집중되어 오고 있다. 그러나 경제자료에 있어서 카오스적 특성의 경험적 존재 여부에 관해서는 학자들의 견해가 일치하지 않는다. 이러한 견해불일치의 가장 근본적 이유는 얼마 전까지만 해도 카오스존재를 직접적으로 검정할 수 있는 방법이 개발되지 않았다는 데 있다 본고는 카오스의 존재를 직접 검정하기 위하여 최근 개발된 Whang-Linton방법을 종합주가지수를 비롯한 20종의 일일 주식가격에 적용함으로써 주식시장에서 카오스의 존재를 검정하였다. BDS통계량을 비롯한 간접검정법은 일부 종목별 주식가격의 비선형성을 시사한 바 있으나, 직접검정법인 Whang-Linton법은 종합주가지 수를 비롯한 모든 대상종목에 카오스적인 증거가 없다는 사실을 입증하였다.

A modified Rapp and Francis theory for the symmetric and antisymmetric charge transfer is developed, using an effective ionization potential and modified impact parameter. The theoretical values are in good agreement with experimental results. The σ_10 for Li^++Li decrease with increasing Li^+ ion energy, and the non resonance σ_10 for Li^++Cd shows the expected abiabatic increase with increasing velocity.

T. S. Eliot's early poems from 'Prufrock' to 'The Hollow ,Men' are very unique in modern poetry. T.S. Eliot in his early poems seems to have been as susceptible to the French Symbolists poets as to that the Metaphysical poets. The methods of these two schools are adapted and extended in his early poems. For the prevailing influence in these early poems in that of Laforgue, with Baudelaire behind him. From Laforgue Eliot learned the possibility of an ironic, self-depreciating diction which offered scope for subtler expression than anything currently available to him in English. From this source. besides their techniques, Eliot's own impressions of industrial civilization combine with those of Baudelaire and Laforgue. Symbolist technique is adapted to Eliot's purposes, and the work of individual symbolist poets helps to form his conception of the essentials of modern life. In these is the source of his atmosphere of his of boredom, futility and squalor, and his conception of modern malady.

The sprig of winged euoymus (Euonymus alatus, EA) has been used for curing gastric ulcer and stomach cancer as a folk medicine without any experimental evidence to supprot the rational basis for their clinical use. This experiment was carried out to evaluate th possible prophylatic or therapeutic effect of EA-extract against cancer, and to study some mechanism responsible for its effect. Some kind of tumors were induced by the topical application of 3-methylcholanthrene(MCA) or by the implantation(s. c) of malignant tumor cells such as leukemia cells(3LL cells) or sarcoma cells(S180 and FasⅡcells). Treatment of the EA sprig water-extract(dailly 1mg/mouse, i.p.) was initiated 7 days prior to tumor induction and lasted for 20 days. Against squamous cell carcinoma induced by MCA, EA decreased not only the frequency of tumor production but also number and weight of tumors per tumor bearing mice (TBM). EA also significantly suppressed the development of 3LL cell and S 180 cell-implanted tumors by frequency and their size, and some developed tumors were regressed by the EA-continuations into TBM. However, when tumor was induced by FsaⅡ cell-implantation, the growth of implanted cells in mice was delayed by EA until day 7 and then rapid growth ensued. In vitro EA had no effect on effect on the growth of some kind of cell lines such as FsaⅡ, A431 strain but it significantly inhibited the proliferation of 3LL, S 180 cells and it augmented the DNA synthesis of mitogen-activated lymphocytes. EA also stimulated leucocyte migration ability, MIF-and IL2-production of T lymphocytes, but not IL 6 production of B cells. EA-administration into mice enhanced Arthus reaction and DTH to sheep erythrocytes, and NK cells activities. These results demonstrated that EA exhibited a significant prophylatic benefits against tumors and its antitumor activity was manifested depending on the type of tumor cells. And these results also syggested that effect of EA might be chiefly due to nonspecific enhancement of NK cell activities and cell mediated immune responses.
