Valentin NAVRAPESCU,Dragos Ovidiu KISCK,George ANDRONESCU,Mircea POPESCU,Mariana KISCK 전력전자학회 2007 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.- No.-
Today, for the same rated power and speed electrical drives we have a strong competitor to the induction motors. This one it is represented by permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) with salient pole rotors. In this paper are presented dedicated analytical and numerical models for the iron loss effect over the motor performance. It is presented a comprehensive comparison between no-load and loaded conditions test data for all the models presented.

A novel arc plasma source, which has a very low anode erosion rate (10.10 g/C), a nearly spectrally clean plasma flow, and a lifetime of 103 104 hours, is proposed. The plasma temperature near the nozzle exit is below 100 C at an arc power of 2 kW. The design and the characteristics of the plasmatron are discussed. Experiments with heterogeneous plasma-chemical processes proved the possibility of activating plasma flow in the technologic channel of this plasmatron at a pressure of several mbar. As an example, plasma-chemical etchings of monocrystaline silicon in a CF4 plasma and of a photo-resist on a silicon wafer in O2 and CF4 plasmas were carried out. The etching rates for both processes were evaluated to be about 1 μm/min.

Patient, 34 y.o. male, was admitted with complaints of fever (up to 39°C for 1 month) and dyspnea at night time. On ECG ST-segment elevation in inferior leads and ST-segment depression in V1-V3 was revealed. The patient was hospitalized to the intensive care unit with suspected STEMI. Condition at admission was moderate. HR 85/min, rhythm regular, BP 110/70 mm Hg. On echo: LV hypertrophy (2 cm), hypokinesis of inferior LV wall, ejection fraction 30% and pericardial effusion (0,8-2 cm). In lab tests: Hb 114 g/l, platelets 151x109/l, WBC 2.3x109/l, CK-MB 41 U/l, troponin T 321 ng/l, CRP 17 mg/l. On the next day the level of troponin T was 800 ng/l, D-dimer 705 ng/ml. On coronary angiography no abnormalities revealed. Differential diagnosis between myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, miocarditis and sepsis was performed. Patient was treated with anticoagulants, antiaggregants, ß-blockers, ACE inhibitors, statins, diuretics, antibiotics and anti-infi ammatory drugs. In serologic test mild elevation of IgM antibodies to Chlamidia trachomatis and cytomegalovirus was revealed. Blood culture and procalcitonin test was negative. On echo low LV EF and moderate pericardial effusion remained. In a week after admission the level of Hb was 94 g/l, creatinine 260 mcmol/l, hypoalbuminemia 28 g/l, CRP 212 mg/l, BNP 24809 pg/ml. Despite ongoing treatment patients` status progressively worsened, hyperthermia remained, dyspnea at rest, arterial hypotension, oliguria and fi nally cardiogenic shock developed. The patient died on day 12 after admission. On autopsy heart weight 480 g, on epicardium and endocardium grained whitish spots on a dark Background: Myocardium with multiple well-demarcated areas of whitish color. Microscopy: lymphocytic infi ltration and necrosis areas. Similar lesions in anterior mediastinum, thyroid gland, small intestine. final diagnosis: diffuse B-cell lymphoma with extranodal dominantly cardiac lesions. This case demonstrates diversity clinical picture of cardiac lymphoma and complexity of its diagnosis and treatment.

Stearic acid hydrodeoxygenation into n-heptadecane on the catalyst containing Pd nanoparticlesincorporated in the hypercrosslinked polystyrene matrix was studied. The used catalysts werecharacterized using TEM, CO chemisorption, low-temperature nitrogen physisorption and XPS. A clearhydrogen pressure dependent induction period was noticed. Kinetic regularities were studied for theindicated reaction in the presence of polymer based catalysts. A mathematical model for decarboxylationwas suggested which was able to adequately describe experimental data at different temperatures, hydrogen pressures and initial concentrations of stearic acid. Kinetic constants were calculated and theirstatistical analysis was performed.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of bipolar electroacupuncture (EA) on a soft tissue defect in rabbits. Ten clinically healthy New Zealand white rabbits were divided into two groups: the control group (Group C, n = 5) and the experimental (EA) group (Group T, n = 5). During neuroleptanalgesia, defects of soft tissue (skin and mus- cle) were made at the dorsum site on the rabbits in both groups, and those defects were stimulated using EA. The biopsy samples were collected on Day 2, Day 4, and Day 6, pre- pared for histology, and examined microscopically. On the 2 nd day, in Group C, the inflam- matory degree was higher than it was in Group T; on subsequent days, low or identical degrees of inflammation were observed in both groups. Proliferative fibrous activity was increased on Day 4 for Group T and identical for both groups on Day 6. The dynamics of the epidermal thickness were characterized by a high rate on Day 2, Day 4, and Day 6 for Group T. EA facilitates a low tissue mechanical stress and has a positive effect on the healing of muscular defects. EA enhances the healing process, with no side effects.

Study Design: Retrospective study. Purpose: The objective of this study was to compare percent correction between apical and periapical pedicle screw (PS) and sublaminar wire constructs for Cobb correction and coronal balance correction. Overview of Literature: The current gold standard for deformity correction in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) are PS constructs. Sublaminar wires provide an alternative means of fixation when PS fixation cannot be safely performed. Two previous studies have compared percent curve correction between sublaminar wires and PSs, with conflicting conclusions. Methods: The study was a retrospective review of Lenke type 1 curves with minimum follow-up of at least 1 year. Cases were divided into two groups: constructs using apical/periapical sublaminar wires (SL group) versus PS only constructs (PS group). Percent Cobb correction and coronal balance were compared between the two groups at 1 year. A multivariable regression model was used to determine the impact of apical/periapical wires on percent Cobb correction and coronal balance at 1 year when accounting for additional variables. Results: The cohort included 71 patients who were predominantly female (80.2%), with average age of 14.2 years. Only 21 (29.5%) of constructs utilized apical/periapical sublaminar wires. There was a significant difference in percent Cobb correction at 1 year for the PS and SL groups (70.26% vs. 60.09%, p=0.05). No difference was observed in overall coronal balance. A multivariable model revealed that apical/periapical wires were negatively associated with percent Cobb correction at 1 year (coefficient=−8.49, p=0.023), while total implant density of the construct was positively associated with correction (coefficient=24.2, p<0.001). Conclusions: Use of PSs in the apical and periapical zones resulted in improved percent Cobb correction at 1 year in patients with AIS Lenke type 1 curves. Sublaminar wires remain a useful surgical option and result in equivalent coronal balance compared to PSs.
Influence of Electroacupuncture on Thermal Changes in a Soft Tissue Defect
Valentin Parmen,Cosmin Pestean,Ciprian Ober,Mircea Mircean,Laurentiu Ognean,Liviu Oana 사단법인약침학회 2014 Journal of Acupuncture & Meridian Studies Vol.7 No.5
This study investigated thermal changes in the skin at locations where soft tissue defects existed and acupuncture needles stimulated by using bipolar electroacupuncture (EA) had been inserted. Under general anesthesia (GA), experimental defects were made at the dorsum site of five New Zealand rabbits. Bipolar EA was used for 20 minutes to stim- ulate the experimental defects, and the skin temperature was monitored at the sites where the acupuncture needles had been inserted and the soft tissue defects existed. The initial thermography of those defects had the same trend as that of the negative pole of EA stimulation at the first acupoint. Skin thermography during the first 3 minutes of bipolar EA indicated a centrifugal vasoconstriction and a vasodilatation at the negative and positive poles, respectively. After that, the thermal change in soft tissue undergoing EA stimulation was not modified by a different EA polarity. The local temperature at the defect and its surroundings under both positive and negative electric loads was increased by 0.2e0.3 ℃ for vasodilatation. This study indicates that EA influences sympathetic modulation of soft tissue defects and that selective sympathetic modulation caused by bipolar EA is responsible for the clinical perception.
