생물학적 산소요구량인 BOD는 오수의 오염정도 특히 분해 가능한 유기물 함유량의 정도를 측정하는데 널리 사용된다. 그러나 일반적으로 BOD 측정은 20℃에서 5일간 반응시켜야만 결과를 얻을 수 있으므로 시간이 많이 걸리고 상당한 기술을 필요로 하기 때문에 보다 신속하고 재현성이 좋은 BOD 측정법의 개발이 요구된다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 미생물을 전극에 고정화하여 BOD 센서를 만들어 상품화 하고자 한다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 내용과 범위로 수행하였다. 1. 저렴하고 실용화할 수 있는 전기화학 디바이스 개발 이들 각 부분을 별도로 제작한다든가 구입할려면 많은 비용이 필요하므로 어느 실험실이나 기관 내에 PC(personal Computer)가 모두 있으므로 PC에 장착하여 BOD 측정을 할 수 있는 기판을 만들었다. 2. 용존산소 측정장치 개발 미생물이 유기물질을 감지하여 변화된 산소의 양을 측정하는 용존산소 측정장치 개발 3. 미생물의 장기 활성 유지 방법 고안 미생물은 생명을 가지고 있으므로 오랫동안 활성을 가지려면 생명을 유지 할 수 있도록 조건을 만들어 보관하여야 한다. 4. BOD5 값과 제작한 장치로 측정한 BOD 값의 비교 일반적으로 BOD측정은 20℃에서 5일간 반응시켜야만 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 이때 얻은 BOD5 값과 제작한 장치로 여러 가지 당류와 식품공장 폐수 그리고 섬유공장 폐수의 BOD 값을 비교하므로서 제작한 장치의 정밀도와 신뢰도를 비교하였다. 1. The development of the low price, high reliable and useful electrochemical device Biosensors are measurement sensors consisting of the receptor part which is immobilized biocatalytic material(intact microbian cells) was deposited on electrode surface and other transducer part, which are sensitive to many physicochemical parameters. The manufacture and purchase of each part is very expensive. In this research, we made the semiconductive board to attach a personal computer to measure BOD. By utilizing this apparatus, rapid, simple and reliable BOD measurement was achived without another equipment. 2. The development of apparatus measuring dissolved oxygen. This dissolved oxygen(DO) meter is suitable to measure BOD 3. The new method to maintain activity of microorganism for long time. As microorganism have the life, in order to keep activity of it for long time. We must sustain the suitable condition for surrival of microorganism. 4. The compared BOD5 with BOD which is measured by the manufactured apparatus. The conventional BOD test requires five days, 20℃ for incubation as the compared BOD5 with fiber and food plant waste water's BOD. We can confirm the precision and reliability of manufactured apparatus.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to elucidate the effect of a bovine hydroxyapatite/collagen (BHC) block in one-wall intrabony periodontal defects in dogs. Methods: A one-wall intrabony periodontal defect (4 mm wide and 5 mm deep) was prepared bilaterally at the mesial side of the mandibular fourth premolar in five beagle dogs. After thorough root planing, block-type BHC ($4{\times}5{\times}5$ mm) was placed on one side. The contralateral defect area did not receive any material as a sham-surgery control. Histological analysis of the sites was performed after an 8-week healing period. Results: Two of five samples in the experimental group healed well without dissipation of the graft materials, and histological analysis revealed excellent regeneration of the periodontal tissues. However, most of the grafted materials had been displaced in the other three samples, leaving only a small portion of the graft. The measured parameters exhibited large standard deviations, and the mean values did not differ significantly between the experimental and sham-surgery control sides. Conclusions: The application of BHC alone-without a barrier membrane-to wide, one-wall intrabony periodontal defects yielded inconsistent results regarding both periodontal regeneration and substantivity of the graft materials. Thus, the use of a barrier membrane for noncontained-type defects is recommended to improve the stability of the grafted material, and to condense it.

GPS 비가용 환경을 고려한 점검 무인비행체의 보조 측위센서 설계 개념

This paper suggests a novel localization sensor for substation inspection UAVs carrying out their missions under a GPS-denied environment. The proposed sensor consists of a transmitter located at the known position and a cruciform receiver array which enables the UAV to measure the time difference of arrivals. For such case, the UAV localization problem can be cast into a passive nonlinear state estimation using the range difference (RD) information expressed by a nonlinear function of the UAV position of interest. To avoid the performance degradation due to the inherent nonlinearity of the problem, we reformulate the localization problem in the setting of a linear robust state estimation. Ensuring the robustness against imperfect RD measurement noise statistics which is cruicial for determining filter design parameters, a modified robust weighted least squares estimator is designed by considering the geometric constraint between the state variables as an additional information. Experimental results show that the proposed design concept of a UAV localization sensor is applicable in practice.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to elucidate the role of collagen membranes (CMs) when used in conjunction with bovine hydroxyapatite particles incorporated with collagen matrix (BHC) for lateral onlay grafts in dogs. Methods: The first, second, and third premolars in the right maxilla of mongrel dogs (n=5) were extracted. After 2 months of healing, two BHC blocks ($4mm{\times}4mm{\times}5mm$) were placed on the buccal ridge, one with and one without the coverage by a CM. The animals were sacrificed after 8 weeks for histometric analysis. Results: The collagen network of the membranes remained and served as a barrier. The quantity and quality of bone regeneration were all significantly greater in the membrane group than in the no-membrane group (P<0.05). Conclusions: The use of barrier membranes in lateral onlay grafts leads to superior new bone formation and bone quality compared with bone graft alone.
