The purpose of this study is put to find a proper marching pace of Korean soldiers considering their general physical conditions. Subjects of 20 soldiers in service were sampled for this study, whose age, height and weight are 21.1 years, 171.6㎝, and 63.4kg, respectively. To achieve the purpose of this study, firstly, anaerobic threshold of the soldiers was measured to use as the maximum oxygen consumption. Secondly, oxygen consumption (Energy consumption) for different, marching paces was measured to compare with the maximum oxygen consumption measured under anaerobic threshold. And thirdly Oxygen consumption required for 1km marching distance at different paces measured and analyzed on an economic point of view. The outcome of the examination was follow: 1) Maximum Oxygen consumption of the soldiers was 3.83±5.7ml/kg/min.) and the anaerobic threshold was 2.73±0.22ℓ/min(43.4±5.2ml/kg/min) 2) Oxygen consumption for the speed of 4km/h was 46.2∼83.1% of anaerobic threshold. 3) Oxygen consumption for the speed of 4.5km/h was 54.1∼96.9% of anaerobic threshold. 4) Oxygen consumption for the speed of 5km/h was 67.9∼121.3% of anaerobic threshold. 5) Oxygen amount consumed for 1km marching distance was 18.81±2.38ℓ/km for the pace of 4km/h, 19.60±2.18/km for the pace of 4.5km/h, and 22.12±2.86ℓ/km for 5km/h. From the above illustrated results of the examination, 4.0∼4.5km/h was determined the most appropriate marching pace for Korean soldiers because it turned out to be the most economical pace without surpassing the maximum marching pace based on the Korean soldiers general physical conditions. Additionally, it is recommendable for commander in soldier not to have his soldiers sourpass the pace of 4.5km/h.

<P>The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of paste type calcium sulfate on the epithelial migration, alveolar bone regeneration, cementum formation and gingival connective tissue attachment in intrabony defect in dogs. These results suggest that the use of paste type calcium sulfate in 3-wall intrabony defects has significant effect on new cementum formation , but doesn't have any significant effect on the prevention of junctional epithelium migration and new bone formation. As a result, the paste type calcium sulfate that is used in this study is suggested to be the material that can have a significant effect on the periodontal healing, if its biocompatibility is improved.</P>
초등학생의 과외 자율 스포츠활동참가가 정서발달에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the participation in leisure sports activities of elementary students on emotional development. To accomplish the purpose of this study, the 441 subjects were selected using the random sampling method from students who study at elementary school in Seoul, in 2002. The Survey questionaries were used to collect data. The questionaries for emotional development was emotionally handicapped scale and fear scale developed by Abrahamse(1970) and standardized in Korean language by Kang, Han-Kyung(1996). The statistical analysis methods utilized in this study for analyzing the collected data are descriptive, one-way ANOVA, analysis of covariance(ANCOVA). From the analysis of this study, the follwing conclusions were obtain: Firstly, emotional development of elementary school students are partially different by gender, grade. Secondly, emotional development are partially different by the participation in the sports activities. In detail, the participants in leisure sports activities are more emotional development than non-participants that. Thirdly, emotional development are partially different by types of the participation in leisure sports activities. In detail, the participants in the sports activities are more emotional development than non-participants on emotional development of pure, fear, avoidance, affection, sociability, aggression.

The susceptibility of SCC for the weldment and PWHT specimens of HT-60 steel was evaluated using a slow strain rate method under applied potential by means of the potentiostat in synthetic seawater. In case of the parent, anodic polarization voltage was inappropriate in elongating the time to failure(TTF). -0.8V corresponding to cathodic protection range is most effective in improving the SCC resistance against corrosive environment. In case of the weldment, the values of reduction of area(ROA) and TTF at -0.68V corresponding to cathodic polarization value were 45.2% and 715,809sec which were the largest and longest life among other applied potentials. Those were vise versa at -1.1V. In case of the PWHT specimens, TTF and ROA at -0.68V was longest and largest like the weldment. Besides, PWHT is effective in prolonging the time to failure of the welded off-shore structure due to softening of effect. Regardless of the weldment and PWHT specimen, as corrosion rate gets higher, TTF becomes shorter and deformation behaviour for the weldment and PWHT specimen at -1.1V was shown to be irregular. Finally, it was found that specimens showed brittle fracture at -1.1V, but more ductile fracture accompanying the micro-cracks at applied potential of -0.68V.

Since vibration problems in high-rise structures are increased, a sky-bridge is used not only for emergency services but also as a vibration control device. The purpose of this study is to investigate the possibility of vibration control of structures using the sky-bridge connecting two high-rise buildings and to propose the optimum conditions for the sky-bridge. Time history analyses of example structures, 40-story and 50-story structures connected by sky-bridge were performed to investigate the dynamic response of structures with various locations of the sky-bridge and the natural frequency ratio of two structures.
수열 Hot press법에 의한 화강암폐재의 고화체형성과 AE특성 평가에 관한 연구

본 연구는 화강암 폐재의 재활용을 목적으로 한 기초적인 연구로서, 분말형태의 화강암폐재를 Ca(OH2)와 혼합하여 수열 hot press 법에 의해 고화시켰다. 아울러 고화체의 기계적 성질을 평가하였으며, 미시적 조직구조의 변화 및 파괴거동을 파악하기 위해 음향방출실험을 실시하였다. 고화체의 기계적 성질은 수열온도의 의존성이 있었으며, 28$0^{\circ}C$에서 최대강도를 보였다. 또한 고화체의 파면은 수열온도에 따라 현저히 다른 양상을 보였으며, 수열실험동안 다양한 화합물이 생성되었다. 그 중에서 cyclowollastonite, tobermorite 및 rankinite 등은 강도를 향상시키는 주된 화합물이었고, crossite 및 xonotlite 등은 강도의 저하를 초래하였다. 한편, 기공이 많이 존재할수록 AE counts는 더많이 발생하였으며, 최대하중에서 AE counts는 최대치를 보였고, 강도가 증가함에 따라 AE신호는 보다 많이 방출되었다.
