Hien nay, Khoa hoc Xa hoi va Nhan van (KHXH&NV) da tro thanh linh vuc nghien cuu mang tinh toan cau. O Viet Nam, nhu cau phat trien khoa hoc ky thuat de dua dat nuoc phat trien, hoi nhap da tro thanh nhu cau buc thiet. Vi vay, trong mot thoi gian dai, cac moi quan tam cua xa hoi hau nhu deu huong ve cac nganh Khoa hoc Tu nhien, va nganh KHXH & NV chua duoc chu trong va dau tu dung muc. Dieu nay da dan den mot thuc trang dang lo ngai la nghien cuu KHXH & NV Viet Nam co su “tut hau” so voi the gioi. Ty le cac bai bao KHXH & NV xuat hien rat “khiem ton” tren cac tap chi quoc te. Currently, the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) has become the field of global research. In Vietnam, the demand for the development of science and technology to national development and integration has become a pressing demand. Therefore, for a long time, almost all the concerns of the society towards the Science and Technology, meanwhile, sector of SSH were not paid due attention and proper investment. This problem has led to a worrying situation that is the Vietnamese Social sciences and Humanities are “lagging behind” in comparison with the countries in the world. The share of SSH articles published is very limited in international journals. Through understanding the reality of SSH research in Vietnam and the situation of SSH research in the world, the article suggested some solutions to in order to promote social sciences and Humanities research, to the SSH in Vietnam to strong development, towards integration and globalization. The solutions focus on the following issues: Building a Strategic Human Resources, Research Orientation and Planning, Promoting International research cooperation, Developing investment funds for research and Changing the form of grants, evaluate of research results.

Cholinesterase Inhibitory Activities of Alkaloids from Corydalis Tuber

Several isoquinoline alkaloids (1 - 18), which have basic chemical structures as protoberberine and aporphine skeletones, were evaluated for their inhibitory activities on AChE and BuChE. Among them, compounds 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12 showed the potent AchE activity with the IC50 values ranging from 10.2 ? 0.5 mM to 24.5 ? 1.6 mM, meanwhile, compound 14 - 17 exhibited strong inhibitory activity with IC50 values from 2.1 ? 0.2 to 5.5 ? 0.3 mM. Compounds 14 - 17 exhibited selective inhibition for AChE compared with BuChE. The isoquinoline alkaloid possesses aromatic methylenedioxy groups and quaternary nitrogen atoms are crucial for the anti-cholinesterase inhibitory activity.

Among 90 Vietnamese medicinal plant extracts investigated for their antioxidant activity by DPPH assay at various concentrations from 10 - 100 ?g/mL, 67 showed an inhibition rate over 50% at 100 ?g/mL; 47 had greater than 50% inhibition at 50 ?g/mL; 17 showed over 50% inhibition at 25 ?g/mL. 8 extracts which exhibited strong inhibitory activity more than 50% inhibition at 10 ?g/mL were further tested for lipid peroxidation inhibition by TBA assay. They displayed activity with IC50 values from 30.6 to 158.9 ?g/mL. Until now, this is the first report on antioxidant activity of the female flower of Borassus flabellifer, and the stem of Combretum latifolium, Embelia ribes, Spatholobus parviflorus, and Tetrastigma erubescens. Fractionations of the EtOAc extract prepared from S. parviflorus led to the isolation of protocatechuic acid (1), ferulic acid (2), epicatechin (3), and gallic acid (4). These compounds showed significant DPPH inhibitory activity with IC50 values from 6.5 to 23.6 ?M.

한-베 다문화가정 자녀의 생활언어에 대한 연구 (한국인 아버지와 베트남인 어머니가정을 중심으로)

글로벌시대에서 국제 결혼은 점차 일반적인 추세를 보이고 있다. 특히 통계상에서 볼 수 있듯이, 한국과 베트남 사이의 다문화가정이 급속히 증가하고 있는데, 이 중에는 언어와 문화의 차이 등으로 어려움을 겪는 가정이 적지 않다. 특히 자녀들이 성장하는 가운데, 이제 다문화가정의 어려움은 부부뿐만이 아니라 그 자녀들에게도 직접적인 영향을 주고 있다. 이러한 상황에서, 본 논문은 한-베 다문화가정 중 그 자녀가 구사하는 언어에 주목하였다. 아버지의 모국어인 한국어를 구사하는지, 어머니의 모국어인 베트남어를 구사하는지, 아니면 이 두 가지 언어를 모두 구사할 수 있는지… 그리고 이 외에 영어까지 구사하는 경우도 고려하였다. 자녀가 어떤 언어를 구사하는지는, 그 가정이 양국의 언어와 문화에 대해 어떤 관점을 가지고 있는지 파악할 수 있는 척도가 될 수 있으며, 이를 기반으로 그 가정과 자녀의 미래도 예측할 수 있기 때문이다. 연구를 위해, 한국과 베트남에 거주하는 한-베 다문화가정(한국인 아버지와 베트남인 어머니 가정)에 대한 인터뷰를 시행하였고, 어머니를 위한 한국어교실과 자녀를 위한 베트남어교실에 대한 실태조사도 병행하였다. International marriage is becoming general in this global time. As statistics show, Korean-Vietnamese multicultural families are rapidly increasing; however many of them have hard time due to difference of languages and cultures, etc. Especially the problems of those families directly affect their growing children as well as husbands and wives. In this circumstance, this study focuses on the using language of children of Korean-Vietnamese multicultural families whether they have a command of Korean, their fathers` tongue or of Vietnamese, their mother`s or of English as well. According to their using language, we can find out what perspective the families have on languages and cultures between the two countries from which the futures of the families and the children can be predicted as well. Korean-Vietnamese multicultural families (of Korean fathers and Vietnamese mothers) in Korea and Vietnam have been interviewed for this study. A research on actual condition about Korean language courses for mothers and Vietnamese language courses for children has been conducted.
