L'expression du déplacement et de la localisation spatiale

이동과 공간위치에 여러 표지(marqueurs)들이 - 동사, 부사, 전치사와 '전치사구, 명사, 형용사 등 - 사용된다. 이동의 개념에서는 지시대상의 장소변화(changement de lieu de référence)가 동사와 전치사 각각의 특성들과의 결합에 따라 활동(activité), 수행(accomplessement), 완료(achèvement)를 나타냄을 살펴보았다. 위치관계는 거리(distance)와 관련하여, 위상(topologique)과 관련하여, 실체(entité)의 경계(frontière)와 관련하여 관계적(relationnel) 동사와 지시적(référentiel) 동사로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 이런 동사들의 의미표지들이 위치명사(nom de localisation)와의 결합을 통한 타동성(tansitivité)을 살펴보았다.

INFORMATION DISSEMINATION IN A NETWORK

This paper addresses the process of information dissemination in a network whereby a message, originated at a node, is transmitted to all other nodes of the network. We restrict out attention to a special type of dissemination process, called 'local broadcasting', where a vertex can either transmit or receive a message and an informed vertex can transmit it to only one of its neighbors at a time. Based on the recently published results for a tree by Koh and Tcha, this paper proposes an efficient heuristic which determines the call sequence at each vertex node under both minimax and minisum criteria. Computational experiments with this heuristic are conducted on a variety of networks of medium size.

본 연구는 문장의 귀속보어(complement d'attribution)로 정의되어온 여격(與格, datif)에 대한 연구로 통사적 여격인 어휘 여격(datif lexical)과 확장(비어휘)여격(datif etendu), 심상여격(datif ethique) 그리고 인지여격(datif episte-mique)의 특징을 살펴보고 각각의 여격보어의 통사적 특징을 살펴보았다. 사역문(construction causative), 능격문(construction ergative) 그리고 목적문(construction objective)에서의 여격의 주어에 대한 기능도 살펴보았다.

Economic Development and Iron Ore Imports : East Asias Iron Ore Imports from Australia

This paper analyses the trade of iron ore between the most significant producer and exporter of iron ore, Australia, and the world's leading steel producers in the most dynamic East Asian region, China, Japan and Korea. One of the major concerns of this study is how different levels of economic development affect the patterns of iron ore imports from Australia, as the three East Asian countries are at different stages of development distinctively. The results report that, for selected countries, the variables such as the volume of steel production, previous iron ore trade volumes, GDP per capita, real exchange rates and Australia's labor disputes affect import demand for Australia's iron ore, while relative prices do not affect any country's import demand. Cross-country comparisons of the iron ore import patterns from Australia find that Japan and Korea have relatively similar import patterns, whereas China has relatively different patterns with the other two countries.

자연언어에서 공간을 나타내는 언어 요소들 사이의 관계를 문헌 비판으로 살펴보려 하였다. 전치사, 전치사구, 부사, 실사(substantifs), 상황소(deixis), 공간적 형용사 등과 공간과 밀접한 관계가 있는 '격 이론'에 대해 재검토 하였다. '격'에 정의에 대한 이견, localistes의 공간 이해 방법들을 통해 형태적, 통사적, 어휘-의미적 접근을 살펴보았고, 그 결과 특히 내적관계(interrelations)라 할 수 있는 어휘-의미장(champs)에 깊은 관찰 및 연구로 '담화'discours에서의 공간에 대한 이해가 나아지라고 본다.

언어에서의 공간 표현에 대한 여러 이론들을 연구하여 그 표현을 이루는 요소들은 무엇이며 그 관계에 대해 알아 보려 하였다. 공간 표현에는 한정된 언어 요소가 있지 않음을 알 수 있었고 화자와 대화자를 중심으로 대화 공간을 나누어서 행해지는 언어 현상들도 살펴 보았다. 즉 전통 문법에서의 품사들 - 명사, 부사, 동사 전치사등 - 개체 따로가 아니라 상호작용으로 보는 이론도 살펴 보았다.

요약 자연언어에서 공간표현을 이루는 관계에 대해 전치사를 중심으로 알아보았다. 언어 현상을 공간 관계로 보았을 때 정태적情態的 공간 관계와 동태적動態的 공간 관계로 나누어 보았고 정태적 공간 관계에서는 위상位相 전치사, 사영射影 전치사 그리고 전치사구前置詞句로, 또 동태적 공간 관계에서는 위치의 이동과 변화라는 측면에서 전치사들을 살펴보았다. 물론 다른 언어 요소, 예를 들어 동사와 밀접한 상호관계를 이루는 체계임을 알 수 있었다.

상황사(狀況詞)는 문장이 통사적으로 성립되기 위한 필요 요소가 아닌 원초적으로 종속적인 구성요소라고 정의되어 왔다. 글자대로 '주변적'인 '상황사'를 문장 내에서 통사적, 의미적으로 살펴 이 정의에 대한 문제점을 밝혀보았다. 또 상황사를 식별하는 기준으로 기욤 (Guillaume G.)의 용어인 incidence(영향력)를 술어-내적인 면과 술어-외적인 경우로 살펴 보았다.

Throughput Bounds and Duality for Tandem Queueing Systems with Finite Buffers

In this paper, a new decomposition method is proposed for obtaining upper and lower bounds on throughput of multi-stage tandem queueing systems with finite buffers. The results for two-stage cases by Shanthikumar and Jafari are first extended for multi-stage cases with a slight modification. Then the duality of tandem blocking systems is exploited to tighten the bounds already obtained. Numerical examples confirm that our bounds thus obtained are consistently superior to those by the existing methods. It is also shown that the error range of our approximate throughput obtained by averaging the upper and lower bounds is satisfactorily small.
