        Effect of Developmental Lead Exposure on the Expression of Hippocampal NMDA Receptor Subunit mRNA

        목적: in vivo 및 vitro에서 해마 신경세포의 발생단계별 NMDA 수용체 아단위 mRNA 발현에 대한 연 폭로 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 흰쥐 해마 신경세포의 발생단계별 NMDA 수용체 NR2A, NR2B 아단위 mRNA 발현에 대한 연의 영향은 정상군과 연 폭로군의 출생 후 7일, 14일, 22일 흰쥐의 해마에서 in situ hybridization으로 mRNA 발현 정도를 densitometer로 측정하여 비교하였고, 연과 NMDA 의 세포독성은 해마 신경세포 일차배양 후 도립현미경을 이용한 형태학적인 관찰과 LDH 활성도를 이용하여 측정하였다. 결과: 연 과 NMDA 에 의한 세포독성에 대한 in vitro 실험에서 형태학적 소견과 LDH 활성도에서 해마 미성숙 신경세포와 성숙 신경세포사이의 차이가 있었으므로, 연과 NMDA 독성효과는 해마 신경세포의 발달 단계에 따라 차이가 있다. 정상군의 해마에서의 NR2A mRNA 발현은 출생 후 연령이 증가함에 따라 점진적으로 증가하였으나, NR2B mRNA 발현은 출생 후 연령이 증가함에 따라 점진적으로 증가하였으나 NR2B mRNA 발현은 연령의 증가에 따른 변화가 없었다. 연 폭로에 희한 NR2A mRNA 발현은 유의하게 감소하였으나(p<0.05), NR2B mRNA 발현은 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 만성적 연 폭로는 NR2A를 포함하는 NMDA 수용체를 감소시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 결론: 연은 해마신경세포의 발생단계에서 NMDA 수용체 아단위 특히 NR2A mRNA 발현의 변화를 야기하여 시냅스 신호 전달에 영향을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다.       • Switched Reluctance Motor의 진동, 소음 특성해석에 관한 연구

        Switched reluctance motor(SRM) drive system is to be compatible for wide range adjustable speed motoring system because it has the same driving characteristics of DC series motor, easy control principle and high efficiency characteristics. By this reason, SRM drive system will be applied to many commercial adjustable speed application that requires economic advantages and high performance abilities. But, SRM drives generate large vibration and acoustic noise because it is rotated by step pulse mmf and switching commutation mechanism. This disadvantage has been obstacles to applicate SRM drives as generalized motor drive system. The main origin of vibration and noise is caused by commutation method which applies step pulse waveform mmf to stator pole and removes the mmf suddenly. This sudden variation of stator flux vibrates stator frame by radial direction and excites natural vibration mode of stator. This paper analyzes the characteristics of vibration and acoustics noise of SRM from the viewpoint of natural mode and driving coidition, and consider the reduction strategy of that.

        완도지역 납석폐석의 철분 및 석영 제거를 위한 기초연구

        완도광업소에서 산출되는 납석 중 폐석으로 분류되는 납석을 대상으로 철분 및 석영 제거를 위한 기초연구를 진행한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 분쇄효율은 Rod Mill로 3분 간 분쇄를 실시하였을때 -30mesh의 시료가 24.76%, -325mesh의 시료가 19.36%로 상대적으로 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 포수제로 Aero #825 Promoter를 사용하고 활성제로 케로젠을 아세톤에 희석하여 부유선별을 실시하였을 때, 철분의 실수율이 pH 6에서 31.56%로 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 포수제로 K.A.X를 사용하여 부유선별을 진행한 경우 pH 4에서 SO<sub>3</sub>의 실수율이 40%로 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 포수제로 Aero #825 Promoter와 K.A.X를 혼합하여 사용한 실험의 결과 실수율이 pH 10에서 35.90%로 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 자력선별을 실시한 결과 5.4K gauss에서 철분이 약 45%까지 제거되는 것을 확인하였다. 석영분리를 위한 부유선별 결과 포수제로 Amine Hoe F 3638을, pH 조절제로 HF를 사용하였을 때 pH 2에서 석영함량이 부상물에서 17.99%, 침강물에서 37.08%로 우수한 것을 확인하였다. The main purpose of this study is to find an effective separation process for removing Fe and SiO<sub>2</sub> from Pyrophyllite-containing wastes in Wan-Do area, South Korea. The results are as follows. Grinding efficiency of a rod mill were 31.56% and 19.36% for samples passing through 30 and 325mesh sieves, respectively, which are higher than those of a ball mill. Recovery rate of Fe was 31.56 % at pH 6 by using a flotation separation method, with Aero #825 Promoter as a collector and Kerosene diluted with Acetone as an activator. Recovery rate of SO<sub>3</sub> was 40% at pH 4 using K.A.X as a collector. Recovery rate of mineral ferruginous and sulfide was 35.90% at pH 10 using Aero #825 and KAX as a collector. About 45% of Fe were separated using magnetic separation at 5.4K Gauss. Quarts content were 17.88% in float and 37.08 % in sink at pH 2, with Amine Hoe F 3638 as a collector and HF as a pH regulator.

      • BAM(Brewster Angle Microscope)으로 관측한 Langmuir막의 상전이에 따른 분자 배향에 관한 연구

        In this study, we used Brewster-Angle Microscope(BAM) to study on the molecular orientation of monolayer on the water surface. The domains by behaviors of molecules on three different subphase have been observed. Reproducible π-A isotherm have been obtained only on information about phase transition by molecular area. BAM facilitates the observation of morphology by optical anisotropy and thickness in monolayer and multilayers as BAM is shown to be sensitive to anisotropy of film. Also, the coalescence of domains leads to large regions of uniform tilt-azimuthal direction. Every transition was found by BAM technique, either as a dramatic change in degree of contrast or as a sudden alteration of molecular action and π-A isotherm.

      • 운동 행위 변화 단계별 중재 프로그램이 비만 청소년의 비만도, 혈액성분, 건강 체력, 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of stage based exercise program on obesity index, blood components, health- related physical fitness and self-esteem in obese juveniles. Obese students of 24 subjects in the middle school in Pocheon-city were recruited; 16 subjects were in the preparation stage and 8 subjects were in the action stage. The pre-post test design was used and data were collected during 12 weeks. The results obtained from this study were as follows : 1. After 12 weeks of the stage based exercise program, total cholesterol, triglycerides were significantly decreased(p<.05). And, there was favorable change in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol after 12 weeks of exercise program but there was no statistical significance. 2. After 12 weeks of the stage based exercise program, the improvements of percent body fat, grip strength, back strength, flexibility, cardiorespiratory endurance were statistical significance (p<.05). And, a favorable change in push-up occurred after 12 weeks of exercise program but there was not statistical significance. 3. After 12 weeks of the stage based exercise program, self- esteem was significantly increased(p<.05). In conclusion, the stage based exercise program during 12 weeks influenced on obesity index, blood components, health-related physical fitness and self-esteem to the obese juveniles, and it was demonstrated that subjects became more active through the intervention. It is suggested that this program could be effectively used as a exercise program for obese juveniles. KeyWords:stage based exercise program, obese juveniles, health- related physical fitness

      • PASS (polyamic acid alkylamine salts) LB막의 이미드화 과정에 대한 연구

        We have aimed at the imidization condition of the polyamic acid alkylamine salts(PAAS) LB films to make the well-known polyimide LB films. The PAAS molecule, which is composed of pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA) and oxydianiline(ODA), is a precursor of the polymide. To obtain the optimum conditions of film deposition, the π-A isotherms were examined by varying temperature, barrier moving speed, dipping speed, spreading amount of solution, and etc. The Z-type LB films were made at the surface pressure of 5mN/m and 25mN/m for the AFM study: the former surface pressure forms the gas phase and the latter one forms the solid phase. Surface morphology of the LB films made at the solid phase(2Å Surface roughness) is more smooth than that of the LB films made at the gas phase(70Å Surface roughness). The imidization was performed by thermal treatment for 1 hour at 300℃. This condition was judged by TGA and DSC analysis. Current-voltage characteristics were measured along the perpendicular direction of the LB films at room temperature. Ohmic conduction has been observed below ∼10?V/cm and the calculated electrical conductivity is about 10-13S/cm. Nonohmic conduction has been observed above ∼10?V/cm and the conduction mechanism is able to be explained by the Schottky effect.

        To understand age and gender related factors in the control of normal hand function, this review provides eye-hand coordination(manual coordination) factors, such as receptors, perception, neurosynergistic and voluntary(independent0 control, and visuospatial ability, and age and gender-related factors associated with components of manual coordination of visuospatial psychomotor tasks, the limited evidence available suggests that aging and gender influence global and fine motor hand control and spatial ability but specific ways in which this occurs are unclear. Therefore, it is interesting to study the effects of aging and gender on individual ability to control muscular force production and position in the pinching movement during a visuomotor task under unilateral and bilateral conditions.

      • 우성형 중성자 수송방정식을 이용한 광첨두현상 감소 및 제거

        The discrete-ordinates and the piecewise constant approximations are applied to both the first-order Boltzmann and the second-order even-parity transport equations. The result is that the mitigation of ray effects is only achieved by so called the 'angularly smearing effect' of the piecewise constant method, in which new angular quadratures are generated by integrating the angle variables over the specified region. In order sense, the newly generated angular quadratures turn out to decrease the contribution of cross-derivative terms in the even-parity equation. This result can be interpreted as the entire elimination of ray effect is possible in the simplified even-parity equation which has no cross-derivative terms. For more valid conclusion, the rotational invariance of the simplified even-parity equation should be studied.

      • 건식성형-수열처리에 의한 고강도 시멘트 경화체의 제조와 특성

        포틀랜드 시멘트-실리카계 혼합분말을 건식가압성형한 후 수열처리하는 방법으로 고강도 시멘트 경화체를 제조하고자 하였다. 이때 첨가 실리카질 분말원료의 종류와 혼합물의 CaO/SiO2 비, 수열조건의 온도 및 압력이 경화체의 미세조직과 기계적 물성에 미치는 영향을 구명하였다. 포조란반응성이 좋은 silica fume과 경질 미세골재로서의 quartzite 분말을 혼합한 CaO/SiO2비 1의 건식성형체를 200℃, 202 psi의 수열조건에서 12시간동안 수열처리하여 얻어진 경화체는 매우 낮은 기공율(2.28%)와 곡강도 73.5MPa정도의 고강도 특성을 나타내었다. High-strength hardened bodies were prepared by dry forming and hydrothermal treatment of a mixture of Portland cement and siliceous additives. The kind of siliceous materials, CaO/SiO₂molar ratio of the mixture, and temperature and pressure of the hydrothermal condition were controlled for better microstructure and mechanical strengths. Hardened bodies with very low porosity(2.28%) and high flexural strength(73.5MPa) were obtained from the mixture of CaO/SiO₂= 1 containing silica fume and quartzite powder as siliceous additives by hydrothermal treatment at 200 C for 12 hours.

      • 중성자 수송방정식의 확산 접근성 해석

        In some classes of radiative and neutron transport problems that include strongly diffusing media, it might be impractical to refine the mesh enough to enter the regime of thin mesh cells. This is because such media are too optically thick to realistically allow sufficient mesh refinement. Considering that the simplified even-parity neutron transport equation is an approximation to the Boltzmann and even-parity transport equation, it is advantageous if the method has the correct diffusion limit; in other words, it gives generally accurate results in diffusing regimes, even when mesh cells are not thin. Our asymptotic analyses have shown that the so-called thick diffusion limit is satisfied by the finite element even-parity and simplified even-parity transport equations.
