        재식한 치아에서 수산화칼슘을 사용한 근관치료

        외상으로 인해 치근 완성 여부가 불분명한 완전탈구된 치아를 재식한 후 18개월 여간 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 재식 초기의 염증성 치근 흡수는 수산화 칼슘을 사용한 근관치료로 억제될 수 있었다. 2. 치근 완성 여부가 불확실한 치아에서 조기 근관치료가 염증성 치근 흡수 및 유착의 방지에 더 큰 임상적 성공을 얻을 수 있었다. 따라서, 재식 당시 치근첨의 개방성 여부가 명확하지 않을 때에는 성인의 치료 지침에 따라 치료하는 것이 보다 효과적이며, 불가피할 경우에는 환자 및 보호자의 철저한 교육에 뒤따른 정확한 내원 약속이 속발증을 최소화 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Tooth avusion implies total displacement of teeth out of its socket. Its frequency range from 0.5 to 16% of traumatic injuries. Replantation procedure is used for the treatment of avulsed tooth. However, its major complications are pulp necrosis, inflammatory root resorption and replacement root resorption. This paper describes 10 years and 2 minths old male patient whose both maxillary central incisors were avulsed due to fall-down with slightly underdeveloped root apices. Teeth were replanted 2 hours after accident. Right central incisor's pulp tissues were extirpated and filled with Vitapex (calcium hydroxide) at 3-4 weeks after replantation, but left central incisor was filled at 8-9 weeks. Right central incisor showed little inflammatory resorption in apical portion, whereas left central incisor showed severe root resorption. During 18months' follow-up period, left central incisor showed slightly ankylosis while right central incisor did not. Based upon the above-mentioned results, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1. Inflammatory resorption could be suppressed by endodontic treatment with calcium hydroxide. 2. When apex formation is doubted in replanted tooth due to avulsion, early endodontic treatment with calcium hydroxide seems to act positively for better prognosis.

        초기우식병소에 대한 레이저 fluorescence 의 광학적 탐지감도

        The aim of this study was to evaluate the optical density of laser fluorescence for detection of incipient caries. Prepared and polished bovine enamel specimens were demineralized in a STPP solution for varying periods of time between 3 hrs. and 60 hrs. with an area of sound enamel retained on each specimen. The randomized specimens were analyzed for optical density of enamel deminaralization using laser fluorescence. The specimens were sectioned and examined lesion depth by posarizing light microscope. Results were analyzed statistically with SAS program. The results from this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Optical density measured by laser fluorescence and lesion depth measured by polarizing light microscope was increased as demineralization time was increased(p<0.001). 2. Between optical density measured by laser fluorescence and lesion depth measured by polarizing light microscope was correlated highly(γ≥0.74956, p<0.001). 3. Regressive equation was obtained in this study as follows. Y=[X-0.260851]/ 0.000271 (R-square : 0.5618, p<0.001) (X: DENSITY, Y: DEPTH) In summary, optical density measured by laser fluorescence would be within the range of possibility to quantitatively presume demineralization amount of incipient caries lesion.

        Silicoater technique을 이용한 veneered stainless steel crown 수복의 임상적 평가

        광법위한 치질파괴가 있는 상악유전치를 갖는 소아에서 silicoater technique에 의한 veneered stainless steel crown으로 수복 후 3∼12개월 동안 주기적 검사와 수복물의 평가 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 행동조절이 어려운 소아에서 chair time을 감소시킴으로써 행동조절에 도움을 주었다. 2. 유지력,내구성,심미성이 우수하였으므로 유전치부의 광법위한 치질손상시 유용한 수복방법이다. Restoration of severly carious, malformed or traumatically fractured primary incisors is one of the most difficult challenges in restorative dental care for preschloers. In restoring primary anterior teeth, four types of complete coverage crowns have been attempted over the years. Stainless steel crowns, open-faced stainless steel crowns, acid-etched crowns(strip crowns), and preformed polycarbonate crowns have been the choeces. While these restorations have beem accepatable for many patients, they all have very distinct limitations. The ideal full coronal restoration for a primary incisor requires durability, retention, and esthetics. This paper reported veneered stainless steel crown restoration of primary anterior teeth by silicoacter technique. Veneered stainless steel crown restoration by silicoater technique is considered to be a durable, retentive, and esthetic restoration.

        A Novel Atomic Layer Deposited Al₂O₃ Film with Diluted NH₄OH for High-Efficient c-Si Solar Cell

        In this paper, Al2O3 film deposited by thermal atomic layer deposition (ALD) with diluted NH4OH instead of H2O was suggested for passivation layer and anti-reflection (AR) coating of the p-type crystalline Si (c-Si) solar cell application. It was confirmed that the deposition rate and refractive index of Al2O3 film was proportional to the NH4OH concentration. Al2O3 film deposited with 5 % NH4OH has the greatest negative fixed oxide charge density (Qf), which can be explained by aluminum vacancies (VAl) or oxygen interstitials (Oi) under O-rich condition. Al2O3 film deposited with NH4OH 5 % condition also shows lower interface trap density (Dit) distribution than those of other conditions. At NH4OH 5 % condition, moreover, Al2O3 film shows the highest excess carrier lifetime (τPCD) and the lowest surface recombination velocity (Seff), which are linked with its passivation properties. The proposed Al2O3 film deposited with diluted NH4OH is very promising for passivation layer and AR coating of the p-type c-Si solar cell.

        Process Temperature Dependence of Al₂O₃ Film Deposited by Thermal ALD as a Passivation Layer for c-Si Solar Cells

        This paper presents a study of the process temperature dependence of Al₂O₃ film grown by thermal atomic layer deposition (ALD) as a passivation layer in the crystalline Si (c-Si) solar cells. The deposition rate of Al₂O₃ film maintained almost the same until 250 ℃, but decreased from 300 ℃. Al₂O₃ film deposited at 250 ℃ was found to have the highest negative fixed oxide charge density (Qf) due to its O-rich condition and low hydroxyl group (-OH) density. After post-metallization annealing (PMA), Al₂O₃ film deposited at 250 ℃ had the lowest slow and fast interface trap density. Actually, Al₂O₃ film deposited at 250 ℃ showed the best passivation effects, that is, the highest excess carrier lifetime (τPCD) and lowest surface recombination velocity (Seff) than other conditions. Therefore, Al₂O₃ film deposited at 250 ℃ exhibited excellent chemical and field-effect passivation properties for p-type c-Si solar cells.

        Preparation and Characterization of an Electrogenerated Chemiluminescence Sensor by Electrochemical Grafting of 4-Nitrophenyl Diazonium Salts Onto a Glass Carbon Electrode

        <P>An ECL sensor was fabricated by immobilization of a tris(2,2'-bipyridyl)ruthenium (II) complex (Ru(bpy)3(2+)) to an amine group-modified GC electrode (NH2-GC electrode). Here, the NH2-GC electrode was prepared by electrochemical reduction of a nitro group-modified GC electrode in 0.1 M KCl ethanol solution under H2 gas, which was followed by electrochemical grafting of 4-nitrophenyl diazonium salts in 0.1 M NBu4BF4 acetonitrile solution onto the GC electrode. The prepared ECL sensor was successfully confirmed via cyclic voltammetry, contact angle, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS), and ECL spectrometry. The contact angle for the surface of the GC electrode, NO2-GC electrode, and NH2-GC electrod was 88.4 degrees, 67.4 degrees, and 52.4 degrees, respectively. The stability of the ECL sensor was investigated under continuous cyclic potential scanning for 55 cycles and the ECL intensity remained at 55%. The prepared ECL electrode can be expected to immobilize enzymes for preparation of the ECL biosensor to detect target molecules.</P>

      • 아마추어 주부볼러의 운동상해에 관한 실태 조사

        The purpose of this study was to investigate housewife bowling injuries in relation to bowling exercise frequency, intensity and bowl conditions. There were 200 subjects who participated in this study that were selected by random sampling in 1997 from Seoul bowling center. The questions about participation degree by sports injury were asked according to the Ohe'(1992) and Ohe'(1193) study. One-way ANOVA was calculated for the purpose of analysis. The results of this study were as follows : First, there were difference found in injury degree and form of injuries according to exercise frequence of the housewife of bowler. Second, there were difference found in injury degree and form of injuries according to exercise intensity of the housewife of bowler. Third, there were difference found in injury degree and form of injuries according to exercise bowl condition of the housewife of bowler. Fourth, there is the difference found in warm up time, state of exercise, prevention of injuries according to exercise personal experiments of housewife bowler.

        Gate/Body-Tied 구조의 고감도 광검출기를 이용한 2500 fps 고속 바이너리 CMOS 이미지센서

        In this study, we propose a 2500 frame per second (fps) high-speed binary complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor using a gate/body-tied (GBT) p-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor-type high-speed photodetector. The GBT photodetector generates a photocurrent that is several hundred times larger than that of a conventional N+/P-substrate photodetector. By implementing an additional binary operation for the GBT photodetector with such high-sensitivity characteristics, a highspeed operation of approximately 2500 fps was confirmed through the output image. The circuit for binary operation was designed with a comparator and 1-bit memory. Therefore, the proposed binary CMOS image sensor does not require an additional analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The proposed 2500 fps high-speed operation binary CMOS image sensor was fabricated and measured using standard CMOS process.
